Wickes - Swansea Reviews 

The staff here are really helpful and very friendly. This is important in a large store with a lot of aisles. They always seem to go above and beyond, which is, unfortunately, frequently required. The main issue is stock management. I shop here perhaps five or six times a month. My routine is: look online for products, check prices (generally the best I can find) and branch stock level, then visit. This is where it can get frustrating. Quite often, when something looks to be in stock, it's nowhere to be found on the shelves. Most of the time it turns up in the warehouse or a cage somewhere, but now and again, and after several laps of the store, it fails to materialise. And I'm not talking about products with very low stock levels - the last few hunts involved products indicating 20-plus items.

This is either a management or stock system issue, but shouldn't detract from the work ethic and attitude of the staff. Billy was particularly helpful on the last few stock hunts; he simply wouldn't give up and didn't slope off to another task. (Did the Soudal Souda Bond ever turn up?)

Despite this, I remain a Wickes Swansea fan; for good quality core product, good prices and, more importantly, great staff.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Mateo for his knowledgeand help with with our kitchen. He listened attentively to our requirements and gave us excellent advice and had a great eye for detail.

Steve was friendly and helpful at the Carmarthen Road depot.Offered great advice on the products needed for my project.He directed us to the appropriate isle.Hopefully money well spent, certainly couldn't be described as cheap.

Mateo is extremely knowledgeable and a great personality. The whole process of designing our ensuite was easy and very well explained. Would highly recommend.

I'd like to comment on Anna, she delt with us on selecting a kitchen. Have to say she was amazing, pointed out pitfalls, answered every question, made suggestions and had the patience of a saint! Anna was the ultimate professional throughout the whole experience. Well done Anna I would highly recommend you and hope that wicks appreciate your commitment to your job!

Prior to paying a deposit they couldn't have been more helpful, from the moment they took a 2k deposit off me they became horrendous. Fault after fault and a really useless customer service team!
Staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. Never again

Our meetings with Ania were great. Following the home visit we met to talk through the designs. Ania produced a plan that we loved & was skilful offering great suggestions that we wouldn’t have thought of. We had lots of questions which she answered with knowledge & expertise & talked us through every step of the process with her professional & friendly personality.

Wanting help with designing a kitchen, I contacted Wickes in Swansea. Making an appointment was very straightforward, especially for a pensioner like myself.
My wife and I turned up at the allotted time and I was greeted by a design consultant by the name of Anna Lysik. The mention of Anna‘s name is deliberate because she earned all the plaudits I want to give her in not only the work she put in but in her understanding our requirements apparently so easily. Our kitchen was completed in good time, paid for, and on our way feeling very good for choosing Wickes as our supplier. Very good choices available even including the electrical goods in the design.
I would recommend anyone needing this service to use Wickes and in particular this consultant. Thank you all.

We went to Wickes on Carmarthen Rd Swansea today looking for a solution as our IKEA drainage system under the kitchen sink was damaged. A young man named Matt helped us and successfully found the products we needed to fix the problem he was very helpful. Thank you Matt.

The gentle man on the till (Steve Lowe) is a credit to the company.He always greet you with a smile and asks how you day is going.
