The shoes were very narrow. My foot wouldn’t even go in them. They said you could return them, but you have to pay the shipping to England. They charge you in USD. It was going to cost me $94 to return them from Canada and I paid $120 CAD for them. I would also lose 4% on the exchange. I kept them and will try to sell them on Matketplace

I agree they have little support. They are fine indoors. Outdoors also if you are not walking on rocks,
Have anyone tried to machine wash them?

Wide Shoes. Wow. For the first time in years, I can walk with no pain. I will bookmark this store for life..!

Shoes have no support what so ever. You can feel every pebble while walking outside. Comfortable for indoor walking. Would not have bought them if I had tried them on first.

Be sure to review the right company. The one star ratings from random people who have bought shoes from less serious companies will unfortunately keep new presumptive buyers away. Therefore I give this balancing rating.

I have problems with the tongue wadding up every time I put them on. I have to dig it every time.

Wide Shoes have been a great find. I have an adult son who has Down’s Syndrome and have had great difficulty in finding shoes to fit him. High Street shops tend to sell you a larger size to get more width, these pairs of expensive shoes then languish in the bottom of the wardrobe.
We made an appointment and Anna took a lot of time and trouble to find shoes that really fit my son’s feet.
It was an amazing success, we bought 2 pairs which are on my son’s feet not in the bottom of the wardrobe.
He now has comfortable shoes and happy feet.
An amazing success, we will definitely return when he needs new shoes.

I live in the US, received a pair of Sneakers from your company in England. These are Sketchers made in China.
I ordered EE, expecting a wide toe box.
Unfortunately I barely got my feet in and noticed that they are very narrow.
I didn’t find instructions on how to return them.
Please reach out to me and help with the return.
It should have been easy to return, since you make it difficult and don’t respond timely I gave you one star.
If you answer my email I will consider changing this negative review.

I am so glad to have found this company! I bought some Wide Load safety boots for my teenage son who has always had difficulty with footwear due to wide feet, tiptoe walking and ingrown nails. I wish I’d found them sooner! Great boots and excellent customer service. I will be back for more shoes soon.

Wide Shoes stocks a large range of footwear to satisfy customers with wide or problematic feet, and the sales team are knowledgable; friendly and extremely helpful.
It is not easy to find shoes that fit my (very wide) feet properly, especially without being able to try them on first. Tom and his team patiently answered all of my questions and guided me toward the right solution.

I recently needed to exchange a pair of Skechers shoes after one of the soles came unstuck ( about 6 months old) Having just had appalling service from a Chinese company were they wanted me to send there product back to China at my cost I somewhat feared the worst. I contacted Wide Shoes by email and sent a couple of pics of the problem to them. - They promptly contacted me and explained how I could download a prepaid label from their website and send the shoes back to them for inspection and exchange. They then contacted me again to say they didn't have my size in stock for a straight exchange so they offered me a more expensive pair at no extra cost to myself - Well done Wide Shoes

Great customer service. A wide (ha!) selection of shoes in different sizes and styles. It turned out that the ones I ordered were two small, but Anna at Wide Shoes was very helpful and persistent in getting in touch with me to arrange for a different style and size. Thank you!

After struggling to find a stockist of shoes to fit my dad’s wide and swollen feet, I came across Wide Shoes. The choice of styles of footwear is very good, as are the sizes and fitting widths. I sent for two pairs, as I wasn’t sure which style would be best. The quality of the shoes is really good and should last my dad for years. Returning the pair I didn’t want was an easy procedure. I got a lovely thank-you email from Tom. This is a business that cares for its customers, which is hard to find these days. I was so impressed, I ordered a pair of slippers for my dad, as he needs a new pair. I can highly recommend Wide Shoes.

There are 3 firms who specialize in shoes for people with wide feet. I have purchased from all three. The best, in my opinion, is Wideshoes. Their staff (especially Tom Gavigan - who owns the business) have been superb. It's difficult for someone with foot problems to find a specialist who actually understands a customer's problems. Mr Gavigan and his staff, when contacted by phone, are only too willing to engage in a conversation - and explain - about shoe sizes (especially about DB shoes, which can be confusing). As I have already said, I have dealt with all 3 main firms selling footwear for customers with wide feet. Wideshoes.co.uk, I have found to be the best for customer satisfaction. And, incidentally, (at the time of this review) they are also the best for price. If you manage to speak to Mr. Gavigan himself, you will enjoy the gab (his is Irish). Yes, he is Irish - and honest. Enough said.

Best Safety Boots EVER the first time in 40yrs that I have had Safety Boots that did not hurt and cause major pain and blisters due to the toe cap not being wide enough for my very wide feet.

Very expensive but having tried loads of different boots trying to get a pair that does not hurt for me it has been worth it.
