I first contacted Willows when my dog was in pain and distressed 5 days ago, without visible sign of injury, but unable to move her neck. They advised to visit my regular vet the following day, which we did. 5 days on, my dog not only hasn’t improved, but her condition had worsened this evening - she is shaking, panting, in visible distress and unable to sit or lie down. We contacted Willows again for an out of hours appointment to be told to contact our regular vet during office hours ‘for pain management’. Whilst she does not have a visable injury, she’s clearly in agony and extreme distress.
As her condition has not improved we tried to ring again an hour later to insist on an appointment- however there is now no response at all - emergency phone number is left ringing without an answer, calling their service poor is an understatement.

I requested a referral for my Old Tyme Bulldog to see an ophthalmologist specialist at Willows. My dog had previously received two entropion surgeries at my main veterinary practice. Unfortunately these surgeries were unsuccessful, and I did not want to continue putting him through more surgeries without having a more extensive examination.
I was contacted within a couple of days of them receiving the referral, and provided with a consultation the following fortnight with Kayal.
Kayal provided extensive tests to determine what is going on with my dogs eyes and communicated everything to me throughout.
My dog subsequently needed surgery and was booked in within a fortnight. The vets and receptionist were fantastic throughout! I received several phonecalls throughout the day to keep me updated and informed. All of the staff were very kind and welcoming. There is a significant difference in my dogs eye (despite only having the operation today, too!) His eyes are a lot wider and the staff took fantastic care of him.
I cannot thank Kayal, the nurses and all the other staff for all their support. Hopefully this was the treatment my boy needed to lead a comfortable and happy, long life 🙏 ❤️

On the night of 13 June we attempted to access emergency care from Willows who are our vet’s chosen out of hours emergency provider.

We called 17 times both through our vet’s call forwarding and Willows’ own emergency number - none were answered and all cancelled by their system.

We have since been informed by Willows that they experienced an ‘unexpected outage’ with, in our experience, no contingency in place to manage such an occurrence. In desperation we turned to their live chat facility and the incredibly awful experience of that was just disgraceful. And it appeared based on the conversation, the woman we were speaking with also had no idea the phone lines were down.

Our beloved family dog was sadly, and in our opinion, avoidably put down the following day - not by Willows, who will never be allowed any of our animals - ever.

If you are an emergency provider having basic contingencies for telecoms failures should be a given.

The care for our dog and communication was outstanding. Such a worrying time for a family but the service from the staff made it so much easier

Joao was a fantastic vet and provided great service.

High level of expertise and broad spectrum of services.

My best pal was referred to Willows because they had run out of both.

He was seen, tested several ways and a plan formulated for treatment - good job!

But….. oh my! The cost!!!

The Willows have looked after my cat for a few years now and the care is always fantastic. Kayal is always very good and looks after my cat whenever we come for her check up. Kayal is very professional and very knowledgable. All the staff are very understanding and always go above and beyond.

My cockapoo, Chewi, unfortunately experienced a slipped disk and was immediately referred to Willows. We arrived on the day and spoke to the very friendly staff at reception, and was seen by the neurologist within minutes. They took Chewi for a scan, and surgery, and the following days of hospitalisation. Each day we received a call from the neurologist Michelle with an update on how Chewi was doing. She was extremely patient, thorough and took the time to answer all my questions. When we came to collect Chewi Michelle met with us, and we had a discharge with both neurology and physiotherapy. They both advised we can call at any time for guidance, advice or if we have any concerns with chewis recovery. The staff were amazing and at every point I felt Chewi was in safe and caring hands. We had to take our dog who was in severe pain to Willows earlier today. Everyone was very helpful & friendly. Zoe the vet was so gentle with her & Sally on front of house was so compassionate towards people & their pets. Thank you to everyone who a made a stressful situation easier

I received excellent service from Ashleigh and her dentistry team with my dog Molly from the initial consultation to her return a few days later for surgery.
Ashleigh called me several times the day she had Molly in for surgery to keep me fully updated on her progress.
A huge thankyou to Ashleigh, the nurses and front of house staff for the great care they gave myself and Molly.
A concerning time made easier knowing Molly was in great hands.

Had a physio review with Emily, explained everything thoroughly and made suggestions on completing at home. Very professional and friendly approach.

Lucy has gone above & beyond with Miri, my dog. She’s followed up on medication. Checked in on progress and really cares. I feel completely safe leaving her in Lucy’s care , in fact all of the staff have been so lovely. I trust their advice and feel reassured as I leave. Couldn’t be happier.

We were referred to Willows by our local vet for specialist orthopaedic treatment for our Sprocker Enzo
From the minute we walked in everyone was so friendly, the reception was very clean and we were kept informed all the way along. Our vet Radu was brilliant, he listened to everything we said and examined Enzo thoroughly. We were kept informed of costs all the way through and the next stages were explained to us. We were well informed enough to make descisions and never felt pushed into anything.
I want to thank Radu so much for the way he treated us and Enzo, we could see that Enzo had been very well taken care of at all times by the fact that he was keen to go back and see Radu.
The operation was a success and hopefully after another 6 weeks Enzo will be back to his normal activities,thanks to Radu.

Wow what a service! First class. The staff are very attentive sensitive and so helpful. As for the treatment of our cat. The consultant gave a very thorough examination and was able to put our minds at rest straight away. He didn’t need surgery on his eyes which was such a relief as we were thinking the worst.

Our Boys, Maximus the Goldie and Porthos the Dalmatian have been receiving outstanding care. In fact, Maxie wouldn’t be here without the amazing people who work for Willows. We are so very grateful and we recommend them wholeheartedly to everyone who wish their pets the best care possible.

After being misdiagnosed by previous vet I was referred to willows with my 12 year old Cavapoo. She had torn her cruciate ligament and had been lame for 8 weeks. We came to Willows and saw vet Toby, he was amazing, took her in same day and did surgery the following day. 2 days later my dog , Willow, was walking round the block with barely a limp. I cannot thank Toby enough for everything , also Angela one of the physios, she was also amazing. We have been back today for our follow up and now walking an hour a day .

We had a great experience with willows. Our dog had a stick injury in his throat and we were treated so well by every staff member. We were very informed throughout the process and Lenny is now on the mend. Thank you so much.
