Workchain took me on as a new pass hgv class 2 driver in October about 1 month after passing my test. They found me work straight away and found me a temporary to permanent job which I am currently in now. Sian has been very helpful with every aspect and quickly dealing with any issues. I would recommend workchain for anybody looking for a hgv job.

They promised me a job at the FLT in Sandbach. I quit my job for them because I worked part time and wanted to have a full-time job. They tricked me and this job is in Middlewich! I have a small child .I can't go that far because it's extra cost.I don't have a job nowI gave up my part time job for them. I can't go back for my old job. . It's Christmas . They just told me sorry, no problem. I don't recommend them to anyone. SCAMMERS!

I have been using workchain for agency drivers for the last three years, over the last 12 months the quality of there drivers has fallen drastically, resulting in two serious accidents which has cost us a substantial amount of money. I would avoid and look elsewhere for drivers

Working for Ben from Workchain recruitment agency, who hires HGV drivers in Leicestershire, is quite an experience. He decided that £12.50 an hour was a great wage for me, even though forklift drivers earn the same while staying inside warehouses. Apparently, driving a huge truck and making multiple deliveries is just an easy, relaxing job.

But hey, who am I to question someone who sits comfortably in an office all day? It’s not like driving a large vehicle safely takes any real skill or effort, right? Why pay drivers fairly when you can keep the extra money for yourself?

So, here’s some advice for anyone thinking about doing this job: go ahead and accept being underpaid for your hard work. It’s a great learning experience—just not one that benefits you.

Went to work at a client for Workchain, no vehicle available so was left to wait in a car park for 5 hours and then they refused to pay me.

Honestly I couldn't recommend workchain more they have been so helpful in finding me a job that I love ... The guys here are very professional, helpful ,friendly and they will do anything for you . These guys have helped me get a permanent employment role ...I highly recommend WorkChain and definitely use these guys again 💯

An agency that goes the extra mile for their staff and even though they have temporary work they do their best to find thier agency staff full-time secure work.
They understand individual needs and always push for better from their staff and their clients

Awful company, generally just lie to you, they just want your details so they can offer you the jobs nobody else wants. The job they originally offer you doesn’t exist, I phoned the office over 10 times but always on another call don’t call you back. I called the company who I was supposed to be starting work with, they told me personally that there was no position available and that there hasn’t been for the last 6 months.

Work chain are really good agencie for helping people find work and have a good team that helps clients with anything that they need.
Gareth Wardle has been very exceptional in helping myself with any queries that I had.

most of the agencys out there are useless but this one is the worst and thats saying something registered 3 weeks ago had not one phone call they advertise all the time with jobs they have not got just to get your data they used to be smart recruitment that was involved in fraud stealing money from workers police was involved directors arrested and charged stay away

Absolutely atrocious agency. Told me to cancel my interview with another company as they had secured work for me. I did as instructed and cancelled another interview as they had promised me work i spoke to a useless agent called Savannah. Then suprise suprise Absolutely no contact from work chain again. conveniently all busy when I called to chase. Was completely ignored. Selfish inconsiderate and unprofessional staff.

This company should be avoided. They promise the earth and ignore any applications for work. Gave me employee stars for the good work , then ignored me because I wouldn’t travel 25 miles for £12 an hour. Load of jokers, probably selling my data as I type this
False promises of full time work after 12 weeks

They promise you a hourly rate then try undercutting you by 1/3 if it want for a screenshots of the agreement I would not be receiving what I was promised. Also the customer of Me temporary permanent contract and yet the agency didn’t offer me that because I didn’t wanna lose money I found this out for a third-party agency. I have to wait eight weeks to get a job with this company and actual company that offer me a job I’m not happy with workplace, people stay away from these if you want to secure long-term job and get paid what your prom prom

Drove an hour from home to get to depot. When I got there at 4:00am it was derelict. Wandered around for ages, finally got hold of someone from Workchain and managed to get access. Eventually got underway at 6:00am. Wasn’t told job involved multiple drops and VERY heavy loads. I have a bad back. Truck was absolutely past it and filthy. Schedule was undoable. Truck broke down. Had to wait ages 90 mins for recovery/repair. Didn’t get paid for that. Job advertised at £12.50 an hour….got paid minimum wage £11.44 and hour and “shorted” 2 and a half hours. Don’t return emails. Shït show of a company.Got back to depot and again it was derelict. Had to make multiple calls to get in. I got home at 10:00pm after a 2:00am leave. NEVER AGAIN. Absolutely the worst.

The amount of personal data they require to create a profile with them is astonishing. As well as scans of passport, driving licence, birth certificate and proof of address etc they also ask for next of kin and your bank details including the password! Proceed with caution.

Only agency that doesn't pay you what you've accrued. Also will phone you to argue with you when you're ill. Thankfully got a contract with a nicer place soon
