No follow up; poor communication; severe lack of professionalism. Management is failing us.

This was my third publication with Xlibris, and it has been consistently excellent throughout each. Getting back to me promptly, following my wishes, accomplishing all they promise, and resulting in the end product -- an excellently-presented book, is every author's dream. It was fulfilled.

I ended up with a beautiful book!

This is my 4th book with Xlibris. You would think I would have learned. I waited 10 years between books. NOTHING has changed. They lied to me every step of the way regarding what I would pay, what I would receive, and then tried to change my royalties. The illustrator tried to give me a cartoon coloring book design for a romance novel. I had to argue every time we had communication with the exception of the interior coordinator Kaye Parsons. She was truthful. The project manager Sid Wilson was not. The supervisor Maye was NOT. They outsource to the Philippines and there is an obvious difference in how authors are treated. Customer satisfaction is not really their thing. If I didn't know how to argue with them I would have ended up with crap for a book, which is what happened earlier in my writing career. DO NOT USE XLIBRIS. You have been warned.

I have published six books with Xlibris and every time I am more satisfied than before. They correct my mistakes very quickly and kindly, until the book is ready for publication.

Experience was subliminal. All around plain good, fun, and exciting for that matter. For example, the person was always there to get the task accomplished.
Very relieved that Id the time to work with the company. For instance, the team was always growing and with my presence. Much more to come-we can grow , and inevitably look back at what has been done!

I went with Xlibris in 2017 at first they were very forceful, being new to this industry I went along with all their suggestions which cost many of thousands of dollars. The errors that were highlighted remained in book. I took up their marketing program which cost a bundle even displayed in all internation book shows around the world. It is on booktopia, amazon and many other site. But to date not one book has been sold other than the 500 I had to buy with mistakes, I have received not a cent in royalties and have not heard a word from them for 3 years until today, with msg have returned call only to get answering machine. I'll let you know but don't go with the company they live on your dream.

They published my book with full-on typos and grammar problems years ago. The book sold well and I moved, then I stopped getting checks. Forgot the password for my account so I registered a new account. Now they tell me they will not send me a royalty check for all these years because I cannot get into my original account, even though I registered anew. This is just plain fraud.

The people were very persistent and professional
They may have called a little too much, but it was
for a good cause.

My experience with Xlibris was a bit more eventful, if that's a word, than my previous experience in this area, but I'm happy that I could draw it to a satisfactory end.

Xlibris introduced typographical errors into my manuscript. And irrespective of the fact that I detected these errors, corrected and pointed them out they were never applied. Xlibris sent the manuscript to printers with the errors. So the finished book is littered with errors that were not in the original manuscript. When I found the errors I wrote to Xlibris they did not reply as to how the errors could be corrected. As I write have not had any valid reply from them. So, I am suing Xlibris.

The other problem I encountered with Xlibris is poor continuity because at each stage of the publication processes I have had to deal with different people.

Xlibris did a great job on the second book published for me . I have only one complaint . My name should have been at the bottom and the picture of the notebook/journal at the top . The person would need to be rotated . The notebook would be facing upward , under the title . The proof showed both pages and the back and my name are in the same color . It blended and I did not notice it . Is it to late to change it ? The name is more visible that way but the cover is blended better the way I described it .

Hello. I remember submitting my PDF without any gaps between words that weren't consistent with the usual text on most pages that looked standard. It was my fault and I should have proofread it as I went along. In the main, I could have lifted the number of Stars on here to 4 above because it all gets down to me. I am a bit green on this first book and my standards of how things should be IS up to me. Proper grammar is sacred in being an author and one's thoughts are going fast and one needs to make sure the words fall as they are thought of. My next one will be better :) Ian

This is my second book published by Wlibris. I'm very satisfy! and looking forward for my third one.

Responsive, helpful staff. Great graphic design and layout.

I would like the company to be upfront about all the costs of the levels of promotion of the books such as reviews, awards, social media, and 100% royalty costs.

Been waiting over 6 weeks for tge price of the book to be reduced,
Been waiting 2months to have my bank details sorted on there
Etc

Absolutely horrible. Been waiting on a refund for 2 years now with some refund specialist named AL that keeps dragging this out in hopes that I forego my hard earned money. After all my time and efforts, this week Al informed me that a refund will be processed with a deduction of $240 admin fee. Despicable! I am contesting this and will be taking this case to the commerce commission board. Ugh, such a distasteful experience.
