My friends and I had limited time in Sintra and the half-day tour with Daniel made the most of our time! The staff was responsive, knowledgeable and flexible in custom-designing our tour. Don't use anyone but this team - they are great!

A week later, my husband and I are still glowing from the magical day we spent touring Sintra and Cascais with Daniel! His knowledge and insights are beyond compare, and he felt more like a good friend (a very SMART good friend) than a tour guide. We learned so much about the history and culture of this beautiful area, and had so much FUN along the way. We had high expectations based on all the great reviews, and Daniel surpassed all of our hopes. Every moment was special, beyond description. Also, kudos to Daniel and his team for the invaluable prep work they do to make sure each group's tour is personal and customized. And kudos for the great photos he takes. Muito obrigada!

# Wonderful tour with wonderful company!

I am so glad we chose Yes You Deserve for our all day tuk tuk tour in Sintra. We were greeted by our guide Veras at the scheduled 9 am time and got in our own tuk tuk. We weren't expecting it to be so chilly in the summer morning but Veras was a step ahead and provided us with blankets being which we were so grateful for. She was so knowledgeable and funny. We were able to visit Quinta de regalaria which was the highlight of the tour. It makes such a huge difference being driven around instead of having to wait for the crowded buses and also allowed us to see so much in one day that we would have not been able to alone. We also loved the place she took us for lunch, a local spot, with delicious authentic Portuguese food. Our final drop off point at the beach side town of Cascais was the perfect end to a wonderful day. I highly recommend this company.

We had an amazing full-day tuk tuk trip to Sintra and Cascais with Vera from Yes, you deserve by Daniel Ponce. I can’t say enough wonderful things about her! Vera was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also a gifted storyteller who brought every site to life. She made history fun, the logistics seamless, and the entire experience feel personal and special. In between monument visits, she made sure we stopped at the best pastry shop for goodies, sample Ginjinha out of chocolate cups, and found the perfect store for me to get an original hand-painted tile created by a local artist in Colares.

By the end of the day, Vera didn’t just feel like a guide—she felt like a friend. We loved every part of our day especially lunch at a fantastic family-run restaurant and a great winery tour/tasting with the sweetest guide at Mare et Corvus who we could have talked to for hours. Highly recommend booking Vera if you want an unforgettable day in Portugal! Thank you so much Vera, we miss you already!!! ❤️

A week ago, we did a private tuk-tuk tour of Sintra with Pedro from Daniel Ponce's Yes, You Deserve. We had a fabulous day! I don't know how we could have done it on our own, since Pedro had to go to Plan B when the road to Quinta da Regaleira was closed due to two large tourist buses getting stuck in the road - traffic was pandemonium! But Pedro knows all the back routes and was able to take us around and up to park, and we walked in. He was full of information, and we loved him pointing out all the small details, like the stained glass window in the Pena Palace chapel. Lunch was great, and we loved our drive around the other side of Sinta mountain. Thanks for arranging, Daniel, and special thanks to Pedro! Highly recommend

I've been lucky enough to travel to many countries and have had many really good guides - both private and group tours. However, I have never ever had a guide as GREAT as Daniel!! You expect that guides will be knowledgeable and that they enjoy their job but Daniel takes that to a whole different level! Not only is he a wealth of information, he absolutely loves his country and his culture and wants to share as much as possible with you while you're on his tour. On top of that, his enthusiasm, his humor and his sheer joy in doing so makes the experience incredible! We spent almost nine hours with Daniel in Sintra and could have easily spent nine more! As an added bonus, Daniel is a great photographer and will take lots of pics along the tour to capture all the best sites - they'll certainly be some of the best pics you get of your tour! Thank you for the BEST tour ever, Daniel - I truly hope we get back to you and Portugal again one day!!

We had the most unforgettable day with Daniel from Yes You Deserve! He took us on an incredible journey through the stunning sights of Sintra and Cascais in his comfortable tuk tuk. Daniel’s knowledge is unmatched, and his warmth, humor, and friendliness made us feel like we were spending the day with an old friend. It was such a special experience, I cried a little when it ended. Our day with Daniel is a memory I’ll cherish forever.

We booked a full day all-inclusive tour and we were so lucky to be paired with Ana Julia! It was wonderful. Nany picked us up at our VRBO (very friendly) and we started our day with breakfast at Cafe Do Preto in Sintra, it was delicious and we highly recommend it. Ana picked us up in the tuk tuk and took us to fill up our water bottles with the spring water at one of the beautiful fountains in Sintra, she explained the full history and why they are special. She then took us to see some amazing vistas and pointed out the historical buildings and provided context. We went to the 3 chalets and got our first panoramic view of the Moorish Castle and Peña Palace, breathtaking! Again, Ana knows the full history and context of how/why they were built which adds so much to the experience. She also took fantastic photos of our family with the monuments, we didn’t have to trade off camera duties and were all in every picture. Such great memories for us! We chose Quinta de Regaleira to explore in depth and it did not disappoint! Very unique experience and again, Ana’s knowledge of why it was constructed and the history surrounding was the highlight. Exploring the well and caves was awesome and the grounds are exquisite. Lunch at Restaurante Central was terrific. The staff was very accommodating and the food and wine were delicious. Ana was wonderful there too, even conversing with my son who is on the Autism Spectrum about something that interests him. We were really touched at her ability to communicate with everyone on their level. She became part of our family that day and we adore her! A terrible car accident and closed roads prevented us from getting to Cabo da Roca but Ana took us to alternate destinations with amazing views where we were able to take a lot of pictures and make memories. Ana gave us time to see everything we wanted to see at our own pace. We had some rain but she closed up the tuk tuk and we stayed comfortable all day. We whole-heartedly recommend everyone to book a tour with Yes, You Deserve, it was one of the best experiences we have ever had.

Daniel was our favorite part of Portugal! We learned so much and had a blast! Best experience ever!

The highlight of our trip to Portugal was our day spent with Daniel and his Tuk Tuk! He showed us all around Sintra and Cascais He is so knowledgeable about the area and is a delight to be around. He is very responsive to all aspects of planning your day, but we basically gave him free rein to do his thing. Best day ever!
