Very Happy With My New Door From Yorkshire Windows
I have just had a composite door fitted the Yorkshire Windows. From the start of my survey to the fitting of my door I was kept informed all the way. I was treated with respect, from a friendly team of caring staff. The service I received was excellent I would recommend Yorkshire Windows to anyone considering windows or doors. This is the second time I have used Yorkshire Windows I already had all my windows replaced by them so I did not hesitate when I needed a new door. Really good customer service from initial quotation to insulation. All the staff members were amazing, we were updated throughout the full process from start to finish. Not a single complaint from us and really happy with our final product (Front Door).

Very good initial consultation with Nathan. The surveyor who came was excellent. We were only waiting a few weeks from start to completion. The window fitters, Steve & Bradley, were very friendly, professional & tidy & the final result was excellent quality.

James Barry was very polite professional and knowledgeable about the products, he gave excellent advice on security features and took us through the whole process step by step. Although not necessary in our case he also took us through all the different finance options which if you were looking to finance seem very reasonable indeed. James was friendly confident and not pushy in any way shape or form, I hope his employer realises that he is a credit to them.

Composite Door
The whole process from start to finish ran smoothly. The installation was carried out to a quick but professional standard. The fitter was helpful with his instruction and guidance of the door. We are very pleased with the end result, and the quality and look of the door. We would definitely use yorkshire windows again.

Poor service
We ordered windows and a door from them last year. They were due to be installed at the start of December with the work taking a week. Half way through the job the installers realised that the sash windows they were fitting were not the ones we ordered (we ordered ones where both frames moved whereas only one moved). The ledges weren't the right size. One of the windows was the wrong size as well. We agreed to leave the sash windows as they were and not insist on the ones we'd ordered (and we got an acceptable discount for this). The correct size window was fitted just before Christmas, but one of the panes had a scratch on the inside and we had the same issue with a couple of other windows. In addition, the replacement window had some damage to the frame. We raised this with Yorkshires Windows and about 4 weeks later someone came to check the damage and measure up for the replacement panes. We have been chasing them to do the work ever since and it's now mid April. I wouldn't use them again.
Update - we were contacted after the reply below to sort out a date for the remedial works to be carried out (mid May, so a few weeks later). The fitter arrived with one of the three replacement parts. Apparently he had been unable to find the other two parts. So, we are still waiting for those and, as before, trying to get any response out of the company appears to be impossible other than through Trustpilot. It has been an awful experience.

The original salesperson that visited…
The original salesperson that visited my home (James) was very professional, helpful and reassuring. The showroom staff at Doncaster and Wakefield were also very helpful.
Unfortunately my experience of office staff was the opposite including sending me a a very unwelcome e.mail demanding money or my planned installation may not go ahead. This was very upsetting as this was not the agreement I signed up to. I didn’t receive any follow up phone call as I requested and had to call again to be told this e.mail was a mistake. The installation went well. My rating would have been much higher if the admin side of the the service had been better.
