I would give it no stars if I could, order and pay, then nothing ! Trying to get info on an update has been time consuming , will not be ordering anything else from them in the future, not worth the hassle and very unreliable, don’t even bother looking at their delivery times , mine hadn’t even left the warehouse a week later!

They're being really sneaky with these discount codes. I recently used a 20% off code for Felix and compared the order to my previous one. It turned out that the one with the discount actually ended up being more expensive. The prices of so many products are just way marked up

3 times i have ordered from this company and 3 times I've had issues with gls deliveries in Dublin!!!! I have mentioned this to both companies and zoo plus keeps using this company anyway. If you're ordering from them you could be delayed by 2or 3 weeks for your order. No one is helpful on the phone either. We have had to spend extra money buying dog food because we ran out while waiting for our order. It costs us extra each time we wait for delivery. one excuse from gls was the weather then it was protested in dublin, then our driver kept our delivery in his truck for 2 days and eventually delivered it when we complained. Amazon, DPD, UPS and others are able to deliver but gls are guaranteed to delay and not take responsibilities for there terrible service. Zooplus needs to take action.

Cheaper and Generally Efficient
I was surprised to see the overall rating for Zooplus so low, as I have always had a great experience with them - have ordered from them since 2021. I find they are consistently cheaper than any local pet shops, with a fantastc variety of items. Their dispatch of items is always really quick, and when they previously used DPD for delivery, they were always efficient, with the delivery guys so nice to deal with - they always waited to lift the (heavy) box into the house. Admittedly the change to GLS hasn't always been great, but sometimes they're okay. They aren't always clear what day/time the delivery would arrive, with the delivery guys leaving the package at the door and running off before the door is answered but that is maybe more a GLS issue than a Zooplus issue?

For the past year I have had nothing only stress from zooplus. Orders never delivered, delivered over a month later but mostly never delivered and refunded.
I last placed an order on 5 March, zooplus told me it is dispatched, today 6 April I receive an updated invoice with a credit for the biggest portion of my order. How can that be explained?
If it was dispatched and still 'in delivery' which it says on my account, why are they sending me a minus invoice and I've had zero other information or updates from them in 4 weeks.
I honestly cannot understand when every negative review, and there are many, is concerning their choice of courier, they continue to use the same one.
I can't get this cat food for 3 cats from anywhere else and zooplus know this, they don't care that my cats aren't getting the food. They don't care about their customers, they don't even care for their own company.

I've been a customer for almost 10yrs and this past year has been the most horrible stressful purchases I've made.
How can an order be dispatched and partly refunded 4wks later? The contents must never have been dispatched in the first place which means not only do they use an unreliable, disgraceful courier, they are lying. Unbelievable. There are poor company's out there but Zooplus are the worst in my opinion.
I'd rate temu and shein head and shoulders above Zooplus.
BTW, I haven't even got the refund or any notification of one. I'm assuming I'll get it with a minus invoice update. I don't want money refunded that I spent on food for my cats. I want the food I spent money on, that's how trade works. Its the animals who suffer, my cats are only getting dry kibble now and coming to me for their wet food and I can't give them it because Zooplus have let us all down AGAIN!

MY GOD I HAVE TRIED ALL WEEK TO SEND A QUERY THROUGH THE ONLINE COMMUNICATION AND HAVE GOT AN ERROR, TRY AGAIN MESSAGE EVERY SINGLE TIME.
I also highly doubt the legitimacy of the recent positive reviews. Any company can make an error, I don't mind dealing with that on occasion but this has been consistent. I'll likely get my refund, place another order and go through the above again as that is all I know to expect for the past year. This company is on its knees IMO. No legitimate business behaves this way.

Excellent variety of dog food.
I have been purchasing dog food from Zooplus for the past number of months. They have a huge selection of food to choose from and it is quite easy to place an order. The items are always delivered within the advised timeframe.

I have no problem with zooplus, I have used you for at least 15 years, but since you have changed delivering partners I have had many problems, GLS who delivers for there sister company is absolutely awful, leaving packages at different premises, completely different eircode/postcode, so we have to go on the hunt, and in the pouring rain, so box is damaged, thankfully the items inside were not damaged. Myself and husband are disabled and having to look for package is problematic. Last package wad delivered 1 day late after it was out for delivery the day before. So after this situation I am reconsidering if I will reorder again from yourselves. It would be helpful if you could choose who could deliver as you did in the past, I would not object paying for this

Zooplus
Zooplus came up when I googled the brand of dog food I wanted. The price seemed good, so I downloaded the app, subscribed to get regular deliveries of dried food, and also ordered another item. As it was a .ie website, I presumed they have some presence in Ireland, but no. They're German I think, and my bag of dogfood has been missing in action for 10 days now. They use a poor quality delivery company, with inaccurate tracking, so god knows if/ when my order will arrive.
I contacted zooplus through their app, and was told that deliveries could be delayed in adverse weather conditions. Unless I'm mistaken, the weather between the Netherlands and Ireland (the path my delivery seems to have taken), has been perfect.
Edit; I messaged zooplus to voice my frustration, and they promptly offered a refund. Half an hour later my order was delivered!
I'll leave the review as the courier service they use is well below the standard of most online shops I use.
The customer service rep I dealt with today was pleasant and helpful

This is not an Irish company delivery took 8 days
This is not an Irish company, they are based in the Netherlands, the main problem with this is the lenght of time it takes for orders to get to Ireland. Posing as an Irish company is fraudulent. When I ordered my pets food it stated it would be approximately 72hrs!
8 days later I received the order. Definitely not using this website again.

Zooplus is amazing value for our cat with a struvite crystal urinary problem as it stocks many different brands of urinary care pet food at much lower prices. Ordering is simple and delivery is quick and free if over a certain amount.

**UPDATE ON ZOOMALIA DELIVERY TIMES**
I ordered again prescription dog food through ZOOMALIA,the same food i used to order through Zooplus, i ordered on the 23rd of March and it arrived this morning the 30th of March,7 days in total that includes the weekend and at the house stated,thank you ZOOMALIA, proper,efficient service.
Zooplus used to be good,reliable and had a good offering also,unfortunately though things have changed as all the other negative reviews have said and they won't take responsibility for their dire delivery service to Ireland either,it used to be good when they used DPD,delivery within 10-12 days max and delivery on the day and hours that DPD would say but they got rid of DPD and they use GLS,Zooplus also keep using logistics as an excuse but I know vets around the Country are getting these exact prescription diet pet foods delivered from Zooplus within 1-2 days of an order being logged, so it isn't logistics,if they can do it for Vets in Ireland the same can be done for individual customers.
Basically Zooplus you need to get the basics right first,a lot of pets with long term health issues rely on a proper timely delivery service,but as you can see ye are loosing a lot of customers because of this,and I, like others have been in contact with ye to highlight this but ye consistently use logistics as an excuse or some other reason time and time again,but as I highlighted above ye can deliver the exact same products to vets throughout the Country within 1-2 days of an order being logged.
PS:for anyone in the same both when it comes to prescription diets you could try Zoomalia,i have used them once in the last couple of months,a little more expensive,free delivery,but you have an option for a speedier delivery around €5, had my delivery around 8 working days to Ireland, comes from Barcelona I think,plus also in relation to Zooplus the fact that a Company would mostly post automated replies to people's issues on a Customer Service Review website says a lot about it's Customer Care.

No surprise from this Company, the usual reply below of we can't find your details etc and using the same replies to the same issues everyone else has posted and no mention of acting on resolving their dire delivery service in Ireland.I have since ordered 23/3/2026 the same products through Zoomalia,got a DPD confirmation this morning that they will be delivering it at no extra cost which is great,so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to deliver,last time it took 9 days which included weekend.
PS: If,like others who were loyal to Zooplus and Zooplus decided to go back to DPD and delivery was within 7-8 working days or so then i would be happy to give them a chance again.

Like previous unhappy customers on here we have been in contact with ye with no resolve or improvements before putting our reviews on here,ye have no intention of resolving the delivery issues to Ireland so please don't waste my time any further, thank you.

This service is probably the worst we have experienced. We were notified three days that the parcel was out for delivery and would be delivered that day. On the third day it was "delivered" we watched the driver literally drop the parcel over the top of the wrought iron gates on the road side and jump back into his van before my wife could reach him to ask him to carry it to the door. (we are both pensioners). This terrible service will influence me dealing with Zooplus in the future.

Every single order is delayed
Every single order is delayed, every time, weeks and weeks waiting for delivery, box is usually damaged on delivery. Why can’t they don’t use a different courier? I have no idea, go back to DPD please or allow people to pay more to use DPD because this is ridiculous
Not to mention the AI response they just gave me, seriously no effort from this company.
