A pleasant as can be expected…

I had appointments with both the dentist and the hygenist. The dentist was new and I was not advised that my previous dentist had left. However, the new dentist was lovely, friendly and professional. The hygenist does a great job and complimented me on my cleaning regime. It helps that she is funny which relaxes me as the cleaning process is not in my top ten of nice things to have done. Since being registered at this practice I have had no issues. It does get busy and there is not a lot of space in the reception area. Other than that I have no complaints.

Professional and Friendly

The glaziers arrived on time. The window was removed and the new one fitted in less than half an hour. They even helped me to lift my heavy plant and put it back on the table. All the glaziers were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them.

The code I had didn't work. However, the QR code did. I don't understand why the code did not work.

Poor service

I was contacting estate agents as I was looking to purchase a property in Basildon. I contacted Balgores but despite saying I had a MIP I was forced to use their Mortgage Advisor. I am yet to have a viewing with Balgores and the service from the mortgage advisor was not the best. She was rude and failed to attend a second telephone appointment which she had scheduled with me. I did not receive a call, text or email cancelling the appointment. I was called by a member of her team to ask how it went. When I advised him of the situation he promised to contact her to find out what had happened. When he called back he explained she had been unwell and would call me the following day. Instead of a call I received an email from her stating that she was unable to work with me. I have since used another mortgage advisor and the experience was very different. I wouldn't recommend them.

Battery

I don't drive to work and my car has not been used in the last two years as much as I did previously due to the congestion charge. My daughter went to start the car to maintain the engine but it wouldn't start. I contacted the RAC via the app and although I was not with the car there were no issues with my daughter and son-in-law dealing with it. We were advised it was an issue with the battery and I needed a new one. The operative did not have on the van but left and said he would return later that day to fit it. He returned later as promised and fitted the battery. He provided a full explanation to us on how to maintain the battery an how to ensure that I did not experience any further problems. The operative was pleasant, courteous and professional. I can honestly say I have never experienced any issues with the RAC since I joined them several years ago.

THIEVES

They only received one star as I was unable to write the review without it. As everyone else says, DO NOT USE THIS SITE AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They are thieves and charlatans. I ordered the dryer in early July and I am still waiting for it. Whenever I have sent emails, it takes at least a week to get a response. I have been told that the item has been delivered which it hasn't. There is always someone in the house and it could not have been delivered without anyone knowing. Despite this the company are telling me to go to the post office. Who would be so stupid as to go to the post office without a card saying the item has been delivered? Even though I have said this twice, they respond with the same email. I have learnt my lesson and will be taking care in future not to order from any unknown sites. IF YOU ORDER FROM THEM YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK EITHER. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. The site needs to be shut down before anyone else loses their money.

Non existent service

I made contact with a trader to supply and fit a new boiler. He was given a £900 deposit to complete work which he failed to do. I have been unable to make contact with him and I have had to go through the Citizen's Advice/Trading Standards to seek advice on how to get my money back. Despite sending an email to Rated People to notify them of the situation, I did not get a response and for this reason I will not be using Rated People in the future.
