Put an order in over 3 weeks ago for a chair and still no sign of it being delivered. Paid for it straight away. I’ve sent numerous emails with no responses and tried ringing a number which just rings out. I hope it turns up eventually but worried I’ve been scammed.
Bad service, worse comms
Ordered a chair 6 October.
Chased up using online contact form two weeks later, no reply.
Sent an email a couple of days later, no reply.
Just tried ringing, they put the phone down without speaking.
I'll be trying to get my money back through PayPal.

Researched on Companies House- they went into administration on 17th October.

No communication/Still waiting for my chair
Still waiting for a chair to be delivered. It's understandable that things can go wrong, but not replying to emails when asking for an update is unacceptable and quite concerning. I have also made numerous attempts to call, but the number rings out each time. Having spoken with my credit card company, I will be claiming my money back after the stipulated time. I would rather my chair turn up than go through this additional hassle.

Unacceptable service. Took my money - No refund, no chair and no communication
Where to start with this experience. After placing my order I was advised that it would take 5 - 10 working days for refurbishment to be complete and then 24/48 hours for delivery. After 10 working days had past, I reached out again to follow an update and was advised my chair was in quality control (27/09/2022) awaiting dispatch however due to delays with their box supplier they would be unable to dispatch for another week. At this point, customer service responses had been quick with responses given in 15 minutes & 2 hours. Although in response to me being disappointed with this, I was advised that they were in Scotland and I was in London?? Which makes absolutely no sense because if the item hasn't been dispatched - what does it matter where the location of delivery is? This would now place me at 15 working days between my order being placed and my order being dispatched. Unfortunately I had planned a holiday that week (not expecting there to be such a big delay) and asked if they could postpone delivery a further week - which they did. Following this I notified them on the following Sunday (09/10/2022) that I was back at my residence and ready to receive the item. This is when responses started to disappear. After another chaser email I got a response 3 days (12/10/2022) later to say that my chair now no longer passed quality check (3 weeks after telling me it was in quality check with their team) and that they need to refurbish it again but due to more supplier delays with the leather material I was given no timeframe for this. I requested my order be cancelled and I be refunded in full however (at this point not to my surprise) I am unable to receive any further responses. I requested this on 12/10/2022 and can not get a response via email after chasing multiple times and cannot get through on their phone lines. Supplier issues are unfortunate but fully understandable, if I had been able to cancel my order and receive a full refund I would not have an issue but the absolute failure to communicate with a customer they have taken £400 from is completely unacceptable hence this terrible review. I urge you not to use this service and I have ordered the same chair from another refurbishment website who did an outstanding job and delivered in 3 days.

Just being the biggest or the smallest is in todays Marketplace not that important but excellent service and reliability is on paar with good pricing policies.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. One of the staff dropped the call on me because I complained of a faulty item. I dialed the line again and this time she answered the call and was very rude and offensive.
I will never shop with 2ndhnd again.
Joke of a company
Joke of a company, ordered a chair on the 28th September and said they’ll deliver in 10 working days. Have been struggling to get in contact with them for a week, send them 2 emails and didn’t answer to any of them, afterwards I’ve sent them multiple Facebook messages and they just left me on seen. I bet the positive reviews are left by their employees for a better overall review. Spare yourself and don’t do business with them.
Humanscale Freedom chair
Chair arrived in pristine condition, almost as though it was new! Good quality materials used on all parts. Slight delay in the order being shipped but quick and efficient communication throughout. Would highly recommend!

I recently purchased a Humanscale Freedom office chair. New is around £1200 compared to £495 refurbished. What I didn't realise was what refurbishment actually meant. They actually retrimmed the seat in new leather to match the original. It looks great and I'm confident it will last as long as if it were new!
Order not sent
I have ordered and payed via Paypal a chair on the 20th of September.
After I emailed them I've been told that it takes 10-15 work days to finish the order.
Than after 15 days I wrote them an Email again asking about my order. I've been told that the chair is ready but they are missing package boxes to ship the chair.
One week later I asked again about my order and what is going on - And now they stopped answering my email on the same day.
4 Weeks later I am going to try to get my money via Paypal back. Really sad
