Ordered 2 x Steelcase Please V2 chairs in black leather. Initially when I found the website I was unsure of how good the condition of the chairs would actually be compared to how low the price quoted was compared to what they are new but was very pleased when we received the items as they were in almost mint condition apart from some minor scuffs and wear to the wheels which was no issue.

Would have given 5 stars but in fairness the chairs did take over 3 weeks to arrive which was longer than quoted they would take and we only actually received 1 x chair initially due to a mishap in the warehouse but this was rectified quickly and the 2nd chair arrived a few days later.
So if you are not in a mad rush to get the chairs asap but are looking for a good quality product at a very reasonable price I would fully recommend using this company.

Was looking for a good quality office chair that would last as I work fulltime from home. My company's allowance wouldn't stretch to a brand new version of the one I wanted so I decided to look for refurbished versions. This website had the one I was looking for in stock. I ordered it and delayed delivery until after my holiday with no issues. When it arrived I had some issues adjusting it. I contacted the helpdesk and had a response almost instantly even though outside business hours. Someone was out the next day to look at it and they had to take it away to inspect further but it was back again the next day, fully operational again. Excellent service - would recommend to anyone wanting a solid piece of office furniture on a budget.

I bought many chairs over the years for my offices and never had any problems. Two years ago I bought a chair for myself to have at home and that had been wonderful too. Recently one of the padded arm rests badly broke and I inquired to purchase a replacement (thing I've done in the past for our office chairs without any issue)
I got told quite curtly they don't deal in spares (but there is a page for some on their website) and they use spares for their own chairs. When I clarified that I bought the chair from them, so I am already a client, same curt reply followed. Now I either keep my padded arm rest broken or I buy two new spares that don't match in colour and would cost half of what I paid for the refurbished chair. I wonder what is the whole sense of buying refurbished if I can't even purchase an used but functional spare to keep my used but functional chair in use.

I bought an office chair from 2ndhnd and I was amazed with the quality of the product I received. At half about half the price, I can honestly say it looked brand new when it arrived.
The ordering experience was great and my chair was dispatched within the stated timeframe.
I would definitely recommend buying from this company.

Not good so far. Ordered chair over 2 weeks ago and still not arrived. Have chased twice and on both occasions have been told it’s awaiting an overdue box. Communication has been non existent (apart from getting the invoice). Let’s hope it’s worth the wait. A Lille more communication would’ve been appreciated, hopefully it will be here soon.

Ironically after posting this I got an email to say chair was ready for dispatch….if I was cynical….. expect is just coincidental though.

I ordered the chair online. I was kept well informed of the order process. The chair arrived in excellent condition and at the time indicated by the courier.
It is very good value for money. (As well as being very comfortable.)

Refurb is the way forward!
I bought a Human Freedom Hi Back Chair in burgundy leather. The delivery time was said to be around 10 days due to the refurbishment process. At first, I didn't really know what that meant - little did I know, that they would completely re-leather the chair! Like I said, good as new.
There were some issues where their delivery van broke down, but they kept me in the loop throughout. The customer experience was good, but it's the quality of the product that truly impressed me. Highly recommended!

Just had my new chair delivered and it’s like new! I received great advice and such quick responses for the team.
I received exactly what I ordered, Better than expected!

Did exactly what they said they would do. I bought the item which was in outstanding condition, and it was delivered promptly. What more could i have asked for.

Great support from customer service team. We received our delivery within advised timescale - really happy with the chairs. If we have any future requirements, we will be ordering from 2ndhnd again.

Item was damaged but company wouldn't collect because of the cost. I got a full refund which barely covered the cost of desposing of the item myself.

Ordered a desk and matching drawer unit, desk arrived with no drawer unit, also noticed some of the parts were missing from the desk after putting it together so emailed them.

Had a reply and apology the parts should have been included and the drawer unit they were waiting on the key to arrive before shipping - just would have been nice to have been told this before I had to chase them.

Missing parts arrived quickly, but had a wait for the drawer unit to arrive.

All in second hand condition as expected, but the price was good.

I had ordered the Steelcase v1 It showed up in great condition, although communication was very much left to be desired.

The issue I had was that I sent them an email with the intent to clear up some concerns of mine, specifically what Height/Curvature and the seat depth feature I had ordered, as there was a clear distinction between the two (Standard/Highback), this wasn't indicated anywhere whatsoever. So I asked specifically 1. What version had I just purchased and 2. is the adjustable seat depth feature on the product?

The reply I received gave the impression it was not read, the reason I say this is because firstly, the response was, "that the only difference was the base" which implies I know what the default chair is. Secondly, the reply was within 2 minutes from when I sent the original email.

To summarize, the chair came and it is in very good condition, although the questions I had asked seemed to be dismissed and I was left in the dark about my concerns, and the product did not have a high back or an adjustable seat depth feature, so my concerns did come to reality.

If there is a way to attach the email exchange, I will do so.

Everything went pretty smooth with them. The arrival time of my Steelcase Gesture to EU was about approximately 20 days. The chair is smooth and beautiful with very little scratches which is expected from a 2nd hand refurbished chair. Fabric was beautifully renewed. However, I had to take 1 star down because of the rollers. They're working and everything but they were not cleaned at all. It had all the dirts in it. I've cleaned them myself. Thanks for the product and service. Good company with great communicating skills with their customer team.
