AAWFUL COMPANY. SENDS YOU THE WRONG PART AND THEY PARTIALLY REFUND YOU EVEN THOUGH THE ITEM HASNT BEEN TOUCHED OR INSTALLED. THEIR LISTINGS ARE INACCURATE AND THEY ARE CHEAP CHINESE CRAP.
I BOUGHT A CALLIPER FOR 25 POUNDS, THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ONE AND I COMPLAINED, THEY COULDNT EVEN DO A DIRECT EXCHANGE THEY HAD TO LONG IT OUT BY TELLING ME I NEED TO REORDER ANOTHER ONE, I PACKAGED IT UP CAREFULLY AND I DIDNT INSTALL OR TOUCH IT AND THEY SENT ME A PARTIAL REFUND OF 14 POUNDS?!? ABSOLUTE CROOKS I DEEPLY REGRET EVER DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY SO SO MUCH, IF YOU ARE READING THIS PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE LIARS AND CROOKS AND THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AS THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO SEND A CORRECT PART OUT. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

Ordered struts electric for rave 4 stated all that was needed was the vehicle number so I went ahead at a cost of £305 including express delivery. It arrived six days later totally wrong struts so sent back straight away. They received it on the 12th of March at 12 o’clock and as of today, I’m still waiting for my money back. I’ve spoke to Jass this morning and she was very helpful and she assured me that the money would be having to my bank within the next few days, but it shouldn’t have taken 17 days plus it’s cost me over it cost me nearly £11 in postage for their mistake and I’m very annoyed by that.

Original caliper returned in order to take advantage of the cashback deal, utilising the supplied returns label, only for it to get lost in post and company refuse any cashback. As explained within messages, the postage contract is between them and RM and they can/will claim compensation but I have been told I will receive absolutely nothing and they are not willing to assist with that whatsoever. Paid extra for "genuine" caliper and received unbranded caliper. Annoying. Won't be coming back.

Despite providing the VIN number these people sent the wrong part. They then disputed receiving it back, but acknowedged when I provided proof of who had signed for it their end and when. Since then, repeated promises that a refund has been processed, yet weeks and months have passed with no refund. Now I have raised it with my bank. Avoid these people, they appear not to be honourable, sadly

Caliper developed a fault within the warranty period, they stated its wear and tear as fitted to the vehicle and said the warranty only covers SELLING me a new one.

This company accused me of damaging a caliper " on fitting" I've done several of these things and know what I am doing. The bleed screw would not seal so consistently letting air back In. I attempted to tighten the bleed screw which then threaded. The bleed screw is extremely weak and dreadful quality the cheap crappy import type.
I have emailed the company and despite all their nice words they do nothing for you, I asked for a refund but to no avail.
Another new caliper fitted and works perfectly so I know it's not me.

Rubbish service, I ordered brake calipers (using their registration number) and received the wrong ones. I was told I should have phoned them but what’s the point having registration recognition feature if it doesn’t work. Contacted them and sent them back definitely using correct address and putting a note inside explaining reason for return. Unfortunately for me I lost my tracking number (this now haunts me) they said they can’t find my parcel and kept asking for number and refused a refund. Many messages later and still crap service just not interested. I posted on 1st July and Jas said over phone they only received 1 parcel on the second and none on 3rd or 4th, not hard to even check with neighbouring units if they have had it wrongly delivered but haven’t tried so basically they have stolen over £100 of my money and now have their calipers back to sell again. This experience has been terrible please stay well clear of this company this has cost me hundreds of pounds ££££££££ due to having to buy another set of calipers ordered local with (registration number) correct first time and having to get a mechanic to fit them because I need my van for work.

DO NOT USE ADVANTAGE AUTO PARTS IF YOU DO YOU AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Update still nothing back from advantage parts did get my money back from my bank but the faulty part that hasn't even been on the van and is sat in its box in my hallway has now leaked the part hasn't even been used and it's leaking I wish I could put up the pictures to show the state of it

Purchased a calliper via eBay which started leaking around the piston seals after only seven or eight months. Asked for a warranty replacement and was told I'd have to purchase either a repair kit, fitted at my expense, or a new calliper with the rather condescending attitude of "we'll only charge you cost price"...

When I explained how warranties work, with reference to trading standards and the Consumer Rights Act, even providing web links to the relevant regulations, they still claimed that I would have to pay for a new part. How they think that is any kind of warranty I don't know, but they clearly have no clue about customer service or the law.

When I confronted them with this flagrant incompetence, they even sent me a copy of their own warranty which clearly stated they would repair or replace at cost if the items were found to be faulty - somehow though they seem to think that should mean at the customer's cost, which is frankly ridiculous.

I approached trading standards and was advised to ask for an adjudication process from an independent body. Most businesses can sign up to ADR bodies to help resolve customer issues. This "business" actually had the gall to ask me to sign them up to an ADR to represent their own company because they didn't understand the process...

In the strongest terms possible, avoid this company at all costs..... and all to avoid replacing a calliper that would have cost them 25 quid at most...

Con artists that don't honour warranties, the robotic staff on the phones are groomed to try and sell you a replacement. No interest in your safety whatsoever, I had a failed brake caliper still under warranty that can't be replaced or refunded! Avoid like the plague. Trading standards is the next step. I have all the messages from my conversation with them. Only gave a 1 star rating because 0 isn't an option

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - If I could give 0 stars I would. I returned over £100 worth of goods back to them. I have a picture taken by Parcelforce of the returned box IN THEIR WAREHOUSE..... - THEY'RE STILL REFUSING TO GIVE ME A REFUND!!!!!!!!!!! This has gone on for over 2 months now claiming Parcelforce "Must of taken it away again because we don't have it" ?????? It's actually laughable they are CON ARTISTS!!!!!! Not to mention the caliper from them that I did keep and fitted to my car .... Seized up within two weeks and wrote off my disc which was glowing red hot, almost causing a fire.

Terrible service.
Ordered parts last Thurs. was told they had caliper in stock, but wouldn,t get pads in till nxt day, and would send full package then. I also paid them for DHL to deliver.
This is now Tues. so foned to see where package was, as I still haven,t even received confirmation of my order.
Woman told me she,ll fone me back in 10mins, as her computer was just starting up.
Half an hr later, with no call from her, I had to ring again.
Was told my order is still with them, and will be sent out today, and should have it tomorrow or nxt day.
So...if they do arrive then, that,ll be almost a week!
Totally unacceptable.
Will never use them again!

The most time consuming Returns process I have ever come across for totally disregarding you and uk consumer laws and still no retrun detail's sent. buy at your perill its cheap for a reason they dont work .

Contacted them to verify parts would fit; got a reply saying they would.
Received the parts and they were incorrect and I had to pay £9 postage to return them; they said correct parts would cost £50 more.
I bought the correct parts elsewhere cheaper than the incorrect ones they supplied.
Left a poor review and they begged me to revise it but wouldn't refund the postage it cost me.

Don't buy from these incompetents.

Poor quality parts - brake callipers we purchased broke within 4 months, replacement broke 5 months later. The warranty they offer is non-existent, they will simply never reply to any messages regarding faulty items. We thought first failed part was bad luck, we paid for a replacement, but when it happened a second time we realised that quality was abysmal. Don’t buy anything from this company that your safety depends on and don’t expect any redress under the ‘warranty’. Extremely untrustworthy.

Don't buy parts from this company 2 year warrenty but try get a replacement for the cheap low quality parts that fail... No chance time to send a email to trading standards 👍👍

Really Bad Customer service, bad products, returns policy is a waste of time, and I am shocked they even score 2.3 rating here on Trustpilot!
We ordered rear brake calipers for a Honda Jazz, both shown on-line with the handbrake adjustment bracket, only one had the bracket, but write up said they would fit, so tried original brackets, no joy. Contacted them to be told, first off that the bracket is an accessory and they don't carry them. (So why picture it with them?)
Then told they can't be returned as they had been fitted, (How can you tell if they work if you don't fit them?) But they would be happy for me to resell them using their description listing! (No chance, I would not pass this rubbish on to somebody, maybe I have better morals than Advantageautoparts?)
Then after making a formal complaint and getting no where I was told I had ordered the wrong part, ( I used their ordering system and doubled checked, it was the right part, plus if it was the wrong part they were still saying resell it using their description which lists our model of car?)
So finally this has been passed over to Trading Standards who are looking into it, but before you order, and if you do I hope it goes well, just ask yourself, why do they not have any option for people to leave reviews/feed back on such sites as here or Google etc?

Bought a brake caliper in February and the internal handbrake mechanism has failed after 5 months. They refused to honour the '2 year warranty'. Claimed it was 'wear and tear' - after just 5 months use!!! If that's the case then the items are not fit for purpose. Was offered a replacement at a 'discounted rate' (same price as I paid originally!) No way. AVOID !!!

Ordered a caliper rebuild kit, the rubber components have failed after 5 months/3000 miles, I have been told this is acceptable wear and tear and that if I want a replacement I have to pay. My advice is avoid at all costs, this company is perfectly ok with supplying parts that can cause serious injury or death if they fail and accept no responsibility when they do.

I order what they descried in their advert as genuine OEM refurbish calipers. I ordered two front ones. only one turned up and was not an oem caliper (should have been Nissin) the casting looked suspect and of very low quality and the refurbishment looked to a very poor standard, already rusty around the area of the piston. I didn't want them to send the second one. after contacting them and saying why I wasn't happy, I returned the one I received for a refund. this has taken frequent contact to achieve, and now when they say they have sent me a refund, its only for one caliper! they have forgotten I ordered and paid for two . I want all my money back please. Things like this should not be that difficult but they have made it so frustrating.
