Impossible to return
Bad advice on sizing from their customer service. I kept ordering until I got the right size. When I requested authority to return the two finger splints that didn’t fit, they never responded. They will not allow you to return anything unless they give you specific permission. Now I am stuck with $78 worth of splints that I can never use..

Charged $19.75 more per book than competitors!
I am a therapist and I personally purchased 2 workbooks through Alimed. On the same day that they arrived, I received a catalog from Pro-Ed, who offered the same books for $19.75 cheaper - EACH BOOK! I called Alimed to find a solution, either price match (store credit or refund, I didn't care) or return the unused books and although the representative that I spoke with was very nice, she was unable to do either. If the difference had been a few dollars per book...fine, but I can not see any reason why your company is charging almost $20 per book more than competitors. I will certainly not order from Alimed again and I will spread the word not only to my therapist friends purchasing supplies for themselves but also to employers who are doing the ordering for their facilities. No one likes to be ripped off!

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. I ordered what I thought was to be 2 Freedom wands that ended up being freedom wand extensions. I had surgery a couple days after receiving and didn’t realize there was a 30 day return policy - would have thought the company could have indicated that on at least one of the two documents included with the order. I called at about 45 days and was told that people often mis-order the wrong item because the extension piece is the “default” item listed though the picture of the wand and attachments are pictured. Why wouldn’t the main item be the default to make it easier on the majority of the customers placing an order? Well, I was also told there were no exceptions to the 30 days return policy even though the packages hadn’t been opened. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given a name (Kim) and extension to call. Over a 2 week timeframe after that, I left at least 4 messages with Kim and did not ever receive a call back, even though her voice mail message said she would return calls by end of day. I would have given no stars if possible. I would still appreciate contact and an explanation for not being able to return items that were not even opened or an exchange for the product I actually wanted!

I orderd an Item from this Co & requested a CANCEL ODER less than a minute after I read the size & noticed it was too small.
Instead of CANCELLING they went head & shipped it. Now I have to send back to get my Refund.
I will never order anything from them in future, they can't even get the first order correct.

Terrible company. I followed their return instructions for a defective product and was told the vendor would neither replace nor return the item. I am out over $1800 due to Alimed's lack of integrity.

Cancer-causing boot no return
I purchased a comfy boot splint from Alimed which indicated it was made with carcinogenic materials as indicated by the proposition 65 notice. At the time I didn’t think much of it, however, After wearing the boot splint at night for two months I was diagnosed with skin cancer on the area above my ankle. I called comfy boot Company and they told me to contact Alimed where I purchased the boot. I did that and was told that someone would be calling me back to submit a return but they never called me back. I do appreciate that Ali med did indicate the materials were toxic. Getting them to take the overpriced carcinogenic boot back did not work.

I have the best sales Rep! I do all of the Rehab ordering for a very large County Facility. Nancy Alonso has made my experience with AliMed a pleasure and my job less stressful. Nancy is extremely efficient and such a pleasure to speak with. She has assisted me with several projects and always eager to help! What can i say...I do the majority of my ordering through AliMed and mostly because she makes it so easy!! :)

This was a very difficult ordering…
This was a very difficult ordering experience. I filled out an online form and never received a quote. I had to follow up multiple times before the order was placed. I was told I would get a call back, but no one ever called, which is why I had to follow up so many times. The order was delayed by over a month.

I would not recommend Alimed! This was a terrible experience. It took them over a month and multiple emails and phone calls to send me a quote. Then, when I placed the order, they sent the invoices to someone else at our school who luckily emailed them on to me. When I called, the girl I spoke with was so rude. Our college will not be using them again!

Purchased a brace. Wrong one. Told that I would receive an email on procedure to return. Never did. Called and agent who sold brace to me does not return calls. Moved to supervisor. Did not return call. Over 300 dollar purchase and no instructions of how to return. So need to take action. Credit card used now reversing charges. In contact with my attorney. Horrible experience. I am a physician. Do not use this company

Ordered an exam table, told it would arrive 6/10/19. Called and could not get anyone to deal with the problem. Finally got someone, who would not admit it, but they forgot to order the table. Now expected in 1 month
