Not at all pleased with the AFO that I purchased. Quite expensive and shipping was pricey too. Quality is not what I expected for the price. Poor fit and difficult to get on tight enough to do any good. The sole won't last long due to flimsy material. All in all a major disappointment.

IF YOU OPEN THE BAG THAT ITEM IS NOT…

IF YOU OPEN THE BAG THAT ITEM IS NOT RETURNABLE. Not sure you can know if it will work or fit if you don't OPEN the plastic bag it comes in. INSTRUCTIONS ARE INSIDE THIS PLASTIC BAG. - These instructions tell you how to "cut" brace to fit patients foot.
Out $500+ disabled people have a hard time making ends meet without an added cost like this.
She has a drop foot from a stroke, she walks on side of this foot. The brace would rub the front of her foot no way to know this without putting brace by her foot.

Not enough lenght

I gave 3 stars not because the size of the gauntlet the brace itself, but the 54 inch lace that came w it was less than adequate to lace up . A 72 inch boot lace wasn't even enough. For a foot w/out swelling the 72 inch might be good.
The online ordering process, delivery and follow up was all very good.

I have been waiting over 2 weeks

I have been waiting over 2 weeks, and have not received my update on my order. The delivery date stated within 10-14 days. I called in and they told me my order may take an additional 2 more weeks to ship!! Thats over 1 month! And I was only aware after I had called in to check that the heck was going on...

I would give Alimed 0 stars if that was an option. Website did not indicate proper shoe sizes for purchase of insoles. The representative I subsequently spoke with, Henry, sent me the wrong size. I purchased my insoles at a lower price with no shipping charges either. I am very disappointed with the inconvenience of dealing with Alimed and will probably not return as a future customer.

All I needed presently was a 15.99 lift, and shipping was 9.99, almost as much. This will make me think twice before checking with other companies for their practices. Sorry, just didn't make common sense.

Unsatisfactory Purchase

Device is not useful for non medical persons. I purchased and opened to figure out how to use. Directions are poor. Could not return as I opened. Could not know if it was usable unless I did open! $200 down the drain.

I work for a public school district

I work for a public school district. I placed an order for an electric high low table, after one of our Physical Therapists obtained a quote from AliMed. I called after 15 days of not receiving any information about shipping. My order was received but sat without being processed. The customer service person said that I would need a credit approval or had to place the order with a CC. I asked why no one contacted me. They did not have an explanation. I gave a CC number and they supposedly placed the order. I got an email 10 days later that said my color choice was unavailable. I responded right away to the email and selected another color. Apparently, no one followed up on it again. It sat another 5 days until I called again. Customer service said that my change was noted but it had not be ordered. I asked why, there was no explanation. At this point, I wanted to cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately, we had already started the school year and desperately needed that table for a student with special needs. I confirmed with the customer service person (Amanda) the details of shipping and arrival. She said it would definitely arrive by Sept. 6. This has now been over a month and no table! Sept 6th came and no contact from the freight company or AliMed. I called AliMed customer service again. I was told there was a delay in getting parts at the manufacturer and they did not have an ETA. I asked why no one had notified me. No explanation. I asked to speak with a manager. I was connected with Phil Evans. He was apologetic and we worked out an expedited plan to get it. He agree to way shipping costs for my troubles. He said would send me a confirmation email and call me back with an ETA. I never got a confirmation email. I emailed him for a week and left phone messages. No response. I called customer service again. I am desperate for this table and now feeling like the process of ordering elsewhere will only take longer. I am connected with LaTrell. She was the best customer service associate I spoke with through this entire ordeal! She got in touch with the manufacturer, Baily. They told her that the hydraulics were back ordered and that the table could not be assembled and shipped until they were received. Their ETA was OCt 23. LaTrell asked if they could expedite in any way. They said no. I asked LaTrell to cancel my order. She apologized and was respectful and embarrased at my experience. I told her that I was appalled that an International Sales Manager with AliMed would provide the same poor services that the rest of the company had. Your company lost my $5000.00 due to lack of communication and untruthful ways. I wish LaTrell well! She is a gem!

Despite the brace being small, it was in a box that was too big to go in the mail slot so I had to go to the post office to get it.
