Miscommunication / No communication / Stress
This was the worst experience with movers. Despite multiple confirmations prior that All My Sons would be at our CT house on the contract date, they didn't show up. We called multiple numbers to figure out what was happening. Hold times were over 30 minutes long. We finally got in touch with our move coordinator Ron and he told us a crew was actually on the way. To be more sure, we eventually reached a Hartford, CT office employee that told us that our move was now being coordinated by the Stratford, CT office. Bruce from the Stratford office was very communicative, and confirmed in the early afternoon that there was a miscommunication and that the best that All My Sons could do is be at our house the next morning. While they showed, our home buyers final walk through had to be delayed. Our items were to be delivered to storage the following day in NC, but once again, were delayed. All My Sons' charged us $200 to hold for an extra night. When the items were unloaded, there were damaged items. The driver took photos and noted a claim form would be sent to us as we purchased insurance. We had to follow up as the form would not have been sent had we not. And low and behold, we were told the driver's photos could not be used!! Preparing for more stress to get through the claim process. Recommend using any other company.
I move a lot
I move a lot. This was the worst moving experience ever. They stored everything from a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, 2,022 sf home for 10 months. I was assured the storage was climate controlled. It clearly wasn’t, nor was it pest controlled. The movers did the packing and packed open food which attracted mice while in storage.
There were rat’s nests in the boxes when they were delivered, there were items missing and I received another movers items that obviously were not mine.
Their advertising makes you think it’s a family owned company, IT IS NOT.
I gave up trying to get a partial refund because the value of your items is calculated on old maritime shipping rates.

All My Sons never showed
Called on Monday for Friday move request of off loading one small trailer for daughters college apt. Requested 1100 AM. They confirmed on Wed 1100-4. The, we called on Firday morning and they said 11-2, then they moved her to 2-3, then 4:30, then 5:30, then 7:30, then asked to reschedule. We called them 6 times to find out what was happening, they only called us 1 time to update. Lied several times; "they are on the way", "they went to the wrong address", "they had to clean the truck", "there was another mover with a similar name and we got confused"...a joke of a operation in Fayetteville AR. Keon and the other "manager" should be removed.

Corey and Kelvin were awesome. We needed them to move furniture around in the house, bring boxes upstairs to take some things downstairs and they got to work and didn’t stop until it was done. I wish we had had a crew like that with our move with All My Sons movers when we made a full house move early in the same week. That crew didn’t finish until midnight and we only had furniture and a few boxes. We’ve moved a lot and it took a that crew of 4 guys 7 hours to load us. It didn’t take that long when we moved long distance with 2 trucks.

I am a senior citizen with failing eye sight. I donated a baby grand piano to a charity 8 miles from my home. I was charged 1000.00 with a charge of 134.00 for gas. They damaged 1 leg. If they can do this to me, they can certainly do this to you. Do your homework.

All My Sons review-failure to honor price quote & overcharge
I requested All My Sons to help me move on July 19, 2025. The originally quote a price of $495 and then forced me to pay $797 after trying to charge me $897 including $169 transport over a distance of 1.3 miles which I tracked on Google maps and informed them about!

When we moved we had to put everything back together ourselves
When we moved we had to put everything in storage for 10 days. We hired All My Sons in Fort Worth (closer to the house) to take everything from storage to the house. Welp, they screwed us royally, they never told us "if we didn't take it apart we don't put it back together" we have a king size sleep number bed and a regular queen that just sits on the frame. Neither of these beds were put together 🤬 I had to pay $$$ to have the manufacturer come and put it together. I just got off the phone with the second mover when he told me the above, I asked about the queen, no ma'am if we don't take it apart we don't put it together. I proceeded to ask then why did they put the backs back on the sectional seat pieces and hook up the recliners? Oh because that's easy! WTF, and a queen frame isn't?!?! And people wonder why people go postal......

Movers took 9 hours to move a 3 bedroom house 7 minutes down the road. If anything goes wrong with your move, don’t expect solutions. I was blamed, talked down to, and ignored. I’m still trying to get help above the regional level. No luck and no one even answers most of the time.

Hands down the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. I strongly advise against using All My Sons for any move.
From the beginning, the process was a mess—I never received a confirmation after paying my deposit. When I called their 1-800 number to verify the move, they had no record of my reservation, even though the payment had already cleared from my account.
On moving day, things got even worse. The movers arrived late, were unprofessional and rude, and moved at an unreasonably slow pace. To top it off, they stopped for lunch and ate in a McDonald's parking lot—all while the clock was still running on my dime.
Despite having everything packed and ready, it took them six hours to move a 1,000-square-foot apartment just three miles down the road. Small boxes were unnecessarily placed inside large boxes, and I was then charged $300 for those boxes.
I made repeated attempts to speak with a manager over the course of a month—calls, voicemails, and follow-ups—but no one ever returned my messages.
In total, I was charged $1,800 for a short, local move that should have taken a fraction of the time and cost.
Avoid this company at all costs. There are far better, more reliable movers out there. This was an incredibly disappointing and expensive mistake.

I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage (Baton Rouge) for a move on June 27, 2025, and it turned into one of the most frustrating, dishonest, and damaging service experiences I’ve ever had.
What Was Promised:
• 3 professional movers
• 1 fully equipped truck
• Punctual, careful, professional service
• Quality assurance contact throughout the move
What I Actually Got:
• Only 2 movers showed up, with no prior notice. I wasn’t given a chance to cancel, reschedule, or approve the change. I had to physically help disassemble and carry heavy items, which is exactly what I paid to avoid.
• They were 4 hours late. Scheduled for 8:00 a.m., they didn’t arrive until 12:00 p.m. — no phone call, no update, no apology. I had to call them myself to find out where they were.
• During the move, they scraped and dented the door of my brand-new refrigerator, and caused damage to nearly every wall and doorway in my house. Furniture was dragged through without care, leaving gouges and scuffs throughout the property.
• I was forced to pay the full bill before my belongings were even unloaded, a requirement that appears nowhere in the contract. This felt coercive and unprofessional.
• Jared Fay from the local office later claimed he had applied a $40/hour discount due to the missing mover — supposedly dropping the rate from $189/hour to $149/hour. That was a lie. When I checked the final bill, only $20/hour had been deducted — meaning the actual rate was $169/hour, not $149/hour as he claimed.
• The reduced crew caused the move to take longer, increasing my final cost despite the so-called “discount.” I paid more for less service and was misled about the pricing.
• The contract also says I would be contacted by a member of the operations team throughout the move for quality assurance. That never happened. Not before, not during, not after.
End Result:
I paid a premium hourly rate, was shorted on labor, had to do physical work myself, had my property damaged, was misled about pricing, and was strong-armed into paying before the job was done. The “discount” I was promised was false, the customer care was nonexistent, and the experience was physically and financially draining.
I would never use this company again and strongly warn others to stay away. If you value your home, your belongings, your time, or your wallet — go elsewhere.

Before hiring All My Sons Moving, do yourself a favor and Google "All My Sons Moving SCAM." I wish I had. It would've saved me thousands of dollars and an enormous amount of stress during an already difficult time.
Here is my experience:
* I was quoted $1,200 after a video consultation.
* On moving day, they refused to unload my belongings until I paid $3,600--more than triple the original estimate. This practice is not only unethical, it's the reason laws are now being passed to stop it.
* I was scheduled to have four movers--only three showed up, and one left within the first hour. That left two movers for an entire house.
* They damaged my walls and baseboards significantly.
* I was charged over $1,000 just for materials, including billing for 50 boxes when only 22 were used. Some boxes were charged at almost $20 each, just for the cardboard.
* Despite having stacks of moving blankets, they continued to bill me for unnecessary materials.
* They cranked my thermostat down to 60°F and left the doors open all day, which caused my AC unit to seize--another out-of-pocket expense.
* They refused to move one item, claiming it was "infested with spiders." When I asked to see it, there were no spiders at all. I genuinely suspect one of the workers may have been under the influence.
* They began billing hourly from the moment they left their office, and spent the first 30 minutes walking around the house doing nothing.
* At one point, they disappeared--to a QT gas station--for an unknown amount of time. I had been at work and I had to drive back and forth between homes trying to locate them. I was billed for all of that time.
* And after all this, when I went back to do a final walk through, they left behind an entire couch and multiple pieces of heavy gym equipment, leaving me--alone and without help--to deal with it. My husband was out of state, and I had no one else to help me.
I called daily for a resolution and was promised a return call each time. I never received a single one.
Please learn from my experience. This company shows zero concern for its customers, and I'm far from the only one. Read the hundreds of other similar stories. The emotional distress, financial loss, and utter lack of professionalism are not worth it.
Avoid All My Sons Moving at all costs.
Another Great Job!!
As I expected from my first time this company performed exceptionally well on my second use of them. From dealing with Russell for the booking process to the second well trained and courteous crew this was a great experience. Juwaun, Delonte, and Zavier were professional, careful and quick and they got down to business right away. My storage facility had some tight turns that created a challenge but a bit of patience and great customer service saved the day. I’m always going to check with “All My Sons” for anything I need professionally moved or stored. And they also support us old veterans too!! Great company!!
Cancelled Move With No Notice
We booked a full-service move with All My Sons for a Saturday morning and received confirmation the day before. No one showed up. No call, no email, no warning. We were left completely stranded on moving day.
Worse still, my wife is 12 weeks pregnant and had to help carry boxes in 90-degree heat while we scrambled to find same-day movers at additional cost.
After reaching out multiple times, the company refused to take any responsibility or offer even a partial reimbursement. Their response to our complaint was a generic, copy-pasted message that they’ve used on many other reviews, especially from customers reporting last-minute cancellations like ours.
All My Sons shows a complete lack of accountability, professionalism, and concern for customer well-being. I strongly advise avoiding this company.
