I was quite away from home and when I discovered I had a flat tire I almost panicked. Then I remembered I had Auto Shield which I had not used as of yet. I made the call. Everything was handled professionally, timely, and my service person Alex was very courteous and efficient. All my fears were gone and in record time I was on the road again. Thank you!

Provider showed up promptly heard my concerns as it was late at night. Very respectful and professional will request that company again.

The driver was very respectful and good to talk to about the situation. There’s no problems with the service. Just wish you could’ve happened sooner than one hour and 30 minutes but it is what it is. Thank you very much will recommend you again in the future if needed.

The tow truck driver was at my home within 40 minutes and was able to quickly unlock my car. It was a greast experience!

This experience with Carshield/Autoshield was one of the worst experiences of my life. I called CArShield Nov.08 to verify coverage and go over some repairs provided by a service received at Mercedes. I was told all items (P/S pump/hoses/reservoir & engine mounts) were covered under my diamond plan and the associate sent a list of repairs shops and I made an appoint for all repairs the next day.

I had my vehicle inspection 11.09 at 11am and they verified the repairs and called CarShield for approval. 2 hours CarShield calls the repair facility denying the claim because of a “hose clause” in the diamond contract. They totally refused to acknowledge the p/s component caused the breakdown of the hoses and the hoses did not cause the damage to p/s component. After 5 hours, 6 associates, and 2 managers. I was able to FINALLY get someone to review the recorded conversation with the repair associate to confirm they never said the hoses caused the fault and they then covered the claim MINUS THE HOSES!

the company is a joke and I’m also authorized a rental but since it was only 3 hours of work time and not 4 hours, I didn’t qualify for a car! No exception to policy after this wrongful denial and the repair shop closed in an hour. I stated they could only do some work today and the rest tomorrow but it would be an inconvenience to not have a car. NO LENIENCY OR CONSIDERATION! At 4PM I had to take a Lyft home. Of course the parts didn’t come on Saturday (Veteran’s Day) to complete the repairs so I have no rental and no car until Tuesday. They said I can get a rental at my own expense but what is the point! I hated this entire transaction, it was a nightmare and not worth the hassle or 3K I paid for the contract.

I will never recommend this company to my friends and I’ll never get this plan again for any future car. I will be leaving this review on Google and YELP as well because everyone needs to know about the HORRIBLE service provided and how I have no car now and had to pay for parts I was told (VERIFY VIA PHONE CALL) was covered including the houses (counted as part of the p/s component originally on the phone with the associate). I’m not sure how much longer this scam will continue, but I’m hoping nothing happens to my vehicle before the contract expires I never want to relive this nightmare.
