They have more 1 star reviews than 5 stars. Do Not Use Them!!!! I have been with them for almost 5 years. Due to signing a contract for 60 months. About 8 months ago I called them to see if I can cancel but they required the rest of the payment until the end of the contract. When I first sighed up they stated I would be locked in at $73.88 per month. But I found out that they will raise your rate every year by 5%. The term of my contract ends in November I will be sending a certified letter to cancel or they will auto re-new the contract. As it sounds even if you send them a certified letter they will still re-new your contract. Big scam!! So I will send it off and contact them every month to confirm that it will not be renewed. So wish me luck because it will most likely be a fight to get them to do the right thing for the customer.

They are unreliable and by far the worst company and can't uphold their obligations for providing services.
I was forced to get additional security with ADT home security system due to them not being able to troubleshoot or send out a technician out to consult.
At this point I'm extremely unhappy and willing to accept the penalty going on my credit report because I will not give them another cent!

The lawsuit they were in shouldn't have been dismissed they talk you into buying crappie equipment and tell you that you can cancel after 1 or two years but you can not they lie and cheat they don't deserve one single stray all. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP. Get ring or adt 100 times better than this crappie. Never again ever!!!!!!!!!
Amp Smart is not to be trusted
DO NOT sing a contract with this company!! I have been stuck in my contract for 10 years now. I trusted the polite salesman who sold me the system and did not read the fine print as closely as I should have. A little over 5 years of use we decided we no longer wanted the system. We called to cancel. We had already auto renewed for another 5 years. You have to contact them in writing several month before the auto renew date to cancel. We did not do that. When I said I would just stop paying, I was threatened with lawsuits and even bigger charges due to breach of contract. I gave into my fate and continued to pay monthly for 5 more years. I sent them a notice of cancelation in fall of 2024. I got a response that they had received my notice and said no further action was required. Guess what, they went ahead and auto renewed my 5 year contract. I called and spoke with someone today. A Lizzy at Ext 2059. She was very unprofessional and even tried to gaslight me about the safety of my family. She told me several times, "Don't you want to keep your family safe!" I was livid and wanted to come unglued. I asked you speak with a supervisor. She refused to transfer the call. She said they would have to find the letter and send it to the cancelation department. I kept asking her why that didn't happen when I sent it to them 9 months ago.
I have never experienced such horrible customer service from a company ever. Once they get you, they do not want to let you go. Keep that in mind if you are considering them.
TERRIBLE COMPANY
DON'T use them. If I could give negative stars I would. Received a new panel for our alarm system and stopped working little after a year. Told us we need to purchase a new panel at $600 and that we should have purchased a warranty, which I was under the assumption that we were. (That was my fault assuming we had the same terms on the new contract that we had with our old one.) The door bell camera works when it feels like it. I see more bugs than people who are actually at my door. The garage camera never works. Constantly getting tamper notifications for no reason. We have been with them since 2017 and you would think they would want to keep their older clients happy. Not the case. the last couple people I spoke to with customer service are rude, uncaring and condescending. I will never recommend them to anyone. They were great in the beginning, but now they are a horrible company. I will unfortunately continue to pay them until my contract is up, but I will not purchase a new panel from them and will pay for another alarm company to monitor my home at the same time.

They don’t allow verbal cancellation and there’s no customer cancellation department.
This company did not perform its contract. I'm mailing certified notice, disputing future charges, and ready to take legal action for breach of contract. Avoid AMP Smart unless you want to be trapped, misled, and ignored.

Old outdated equipment/No Amp smart app for android users
AMP Smart Home security is a terrible security system. There are many reasons why I say this because first of all they dismissed their android AMP Smart app without further notice given to any of their customers who don't have any apple devices, second of all there's no alternative app to provide to their relevant customers who have been with them for 5 years, and last but certainly not least they never offered me nor my husband any updated equipment nor have they checked up on the status of our outdated equipment to make sure they were in good working status.
Customer service is the worst
Customer service is the worst. They don't solve your issue instead they try to sale you a extention on your current contract in exchange for a technician to come out. They also tell you their managers are In meetings all day and never get a follow up call. Don't waste your time and money.
Still the worst company EVER
Still the worst company EVER. The sales rep gave us false information and from what we were told he was fired because he was shady. Knowing this they should have let us out of our contract but we have been struggling for about 3 years now. We currently got a different Internet and now the whole security system does not work and they want us to buy all new cameras. Again worst company, if anyone know how to help us get out of this nightmare without paying for this nonsense please let me know. PS. DON'T EVER USE THIS COMPANY.

I totally disliked that it auto renewed when I was on my military deployment and they transferred my signature to the renewal when I didn’t say they could and I couldn’t call them when I was overseas to cancel the renewal so it wouldn’t renew for the next five years.
AMP Smart purchased out my current…
AMP Smart purchased out my current provider. Since they have taken over from Titanium I have had the following issues:
1) Inability to answer basic technical questions on my 2GIG Edge Alarm Panel, requiring me to contact the manufacture directly.
2) Extensive wait times to reach a representative who usually did not understand the question and provide inaccurate information.
3) The Doorbell Camera began working intermittently.
4) The panel and CO Detector failed
I spoke with the company (Miguel) who confirmed that the equipment needed to be replaced. He offered to upgrade to a new system. When I spoke with him a few days later to finalize, he stated that the company would not honor their agreement.
Due to all of the above, I researched other alarm companies and when I called to cancel the service, they informed me that they would still assess a $334 early termination fee.
Give the poor customer service and the refusal to honor the commitment that they made to upgrade the system, they should NOT enforce the early termination fee.
Auto renew contract
This company did not hold up services and was requested on multiple occasions to cancel contract. When terms were up of the 60 month contract they auto renewed the contract for 60 months without any notification. This is illegal for any context over 12 months.
This company is fraudulent
This company is fraudulent. They say they attempted to call me to renew or cancel my subscription but I never received a text, email or call.
Bad Business
Don't sign a contract with this company. You're locked in for 5 years that will automatically renew if you don't send them a letter in writing. This is bad business to force you into another contract when you are not satisfied with their service. Not to mention the bill keeps going up. Most companies when your contract is up, you would have the option of going month to month. AMP want to bully you into another five years.
AMP SMART - TRULY A WORTHLESS COMPANY
AMP Smart truly has taken my wife and I for a ride this past four years. The service, which they say is a *Five Year Contract* has not functioned as they promised *To Provide Protection*. AMP Smart, out of four years of five years, I’ve had only *Four Good Months of Service* and I have paid faithfully thru the four years while biting the bullet all along due to the *Non-Functional AMP Smart Service*. I have moved to a new location, roughly two hours away, and now they want the remaining year to be paid off – even after explaining my dismay over their non-functional service and heavy disappointment. AMP Smart should drop out of business because they are not providing great or even good customer service.

Awful that it is legal for companies like this to operate. Locking people into a 5 year contract with no way out regardless of how crappy the service is. Literally their super lengthy contract states “our equipment doesn’t have to work all the time”. alarm. Coms contract states “ we are not liable for issues unless they persist longer than 24 hrs”. Lol I wonder how many time a house could be broke into for 23 hrs? They will just hammer thier name into the ground and then change it to something else. Rinse and repeat, I would rather let the burglar in my home than another sales man at least burglars wear mask.
Sick of this company! Keep getting weird alarms for no reason
I have been on a month-to-month basis with this company since 2022 and they’re making it such an ordeal for me to cancel the service and they’re trying to tell me they’re going to cancel it in 2025! Are you kidding me? I hardly use the service anymore because it keeps giving me bizarre alarms! I don’t want the service. I want these people to behave like they actually have some ethics and cancel my account like I requested with a months notice.
I don’t know why anyone would want to do business with a company that’s this desperate to hang onto customers that don’t want their service!
Avoid this company!
Don't sign a contract with this company. You're locked in for 5 years that will automatically renew if you don't cancel in writing 30 days before the term ends. No way to change your service st all. I don't even use most of it, and I'm paying $75 a month. I tried to downgrade to what we use and was told not possible. This has been a nightmare and now I have to continue to pay $75 a month for another year for a service I don't use. Avoid!
Worst experience with AMP Smart liars and cheats
My experience started with a sales representative who purported to be affiliated with ADT. Despite initially setting up my alarm system under the impression that it was with ADT, upon closer examination of the documentation provided, I discovered that the services were actually associated with AMP Smart. This discrepancy was unsettling, as it led to a lack of confidence in the integrity of the services provided.
Furthermore, the level of service rendered by AMP Smart fell significantly below the standard I would expect from a reputable company. I encountered persistent issues with the system, and despite reaching out to their help desk for assistance, I found the support to be inadequate. Regrettably, I often had to resort to troubleshooting and resolving issues independently, which was both frustrating and time-consuming.
Adding to my dissatisfaction, I was surprised to discover that AMP Smart had increased their rates without providing prior notice. This lack of transparency regarding pricing changes only exacerbated my concerns about the company's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.
In light of these experiences, I felt compelled to express my disappointment and share in hopes that others could avoid using such a terrible system/agency.
