They look very clean and minimalist. The canvas is stiff so wear long socks for the first week to save your ankles.

Do NOT use this company! First, they sent a tracking number that was from China. Their website says they are from the U.S. The item never moved, It took 2 weeks for them to actually ship it, and only after I had to keep messaging about it.

I ordered a dress, what came was very poorly made and was clearly a knock off of the dress I wanted. The fabric was not as advertised, the lace used was not what was shown. At this point I am confident they used ai or stole the images. They added lace in other areas that were not supposed to have it, they put in a white elastic waistband in a dress that should not have had one, and left it exposed. They also left out the tie for the waist. Because of how poorly made this was, I could not even have it altered to fix it. I contacted them immediately and was told i could be refunded if I returned the dress for $50 at my cost. This was their mistake not mine. I have fought them for about a month. Finally just went to the bank.

Horrible products and even

I ordered two pairs of shoes in different sizes for a total of $99.98. The shoes were disappointing quality and neither pair worked for me, so I contacted Arthur Wells to return them.

First, I was asked to send photos proving that the shoes had not been worn. After they reviewed the photos and confirmed that the shoes were unworn, I was told that I could return them for a full refund—but only by shipping them at my expense to their “international fulfillment center” in China. Arthur Wells estimated the return shipping at $40–$50 and said I would also be responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

This was particularly frustrating because the company presents itself to U.S. customers with a California address and advertises “30-day easy returns.” I would not have ordered from them had I understood that returning a $100 order would require $40–$50 international shipping to China.

Their alternative was to keep the unwanted shoes for a 15% refund. When I declined that offer and asked for a reasonable resolution, they increased it to 25%. I declined again and proposed 40%. They then said they had escalated the matter and that 30% was the highest refund they could offer without a return.

I finally accepted the 30% just to be done with the process. They refunded $29 on my $99.98 purchase. (Thirty percent is $29.994, so apparently even the agreed-upon 30% didn't quite make it into the refund.)

Prospective buyers should understand what “easy returns” may actually mean before ordering. Had the requirement to return merchandise to China at substantial expense been clear to me before purchase, I would not have bought from Arthur Wells.

The bomber style looks sharp with jeans. The lining is a bit loud when you move your arms but it blocks the wind well.

Trying to return a jacket that is too small and very poor quality. So far, on day 3, I still have not received return instructions. Fabric looks like plastic. Only Chinese label inside. Nothing indicating size. If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away.

Finally got a reply. They want me to return to CHINA. Return will cost as much as the jacket. The only address on the website is in California. I repeat: DON’T BUY. A total scam.

I ordered a large bomber jacket. The package arrived with a return address of "Peter" in Chicago IL. The sleeves are far too short, and the tag inside the collar has been ripped out. They said I'd have to return the item to China at my expense ($45). This for a $70 coat.

The shoes I ordered from Arthur Wells online store arrived from a logistics company with the name "Hicksville" in the return address. The shoes were not in a box, were wrapped in plastic, and are so cheap and poor quality they would not last me 30 minutes at the wedding I had planned to wear them to. I am attempting to return them now, but I suspect it will not be an easy process.
UPDATE: The business has written a response to my review which appears to politely offer me a return. This is true- I can ship my items back to "headquarters" in China for "usually about $40-$50 shipping" and then they will process my return (for my $60 shoes). DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS.
