After the kind of experience we all dread with another provider, I was in the unfortunate position of having to be re-diagnosed from scratch. Naturally I was very hesitant about who I would approach for this. I reached out to the email helpline first to discuss things and they were very helpful in helping me understand my options such as a document review before a full re-assessment.
I chose AuDHDPsychiatry because all of the assessors are fully qualified and registered doctors, not “sit a few hours course” certified.
Their system is simple to use and the instructions are very clear, it was easy to pick a day, time and doctor that suited me.
My appointment was with Dr O’Reilly, who was so kind, and easy to talk to. I felt listened to and understood. The assessment felt thorough and it was a great weight off my shoulders after all of the uncertainty.
The aftercare so far has been great to me, my previous provider set the bar so low, that I was surprised to get a letter from AuDHPsychiatry confirming the diagnosis that I could give to my employer. Those little things look huge to someone whose care until now has been dangled like a carrot.

I am only giving 4 stars at first because I have only had 1/4 assessments ( will edit accordingly when the process is over) , but the experience has been so comforting and liberating that I felt I needed to share.

I first completed the free assessment which indicated which direction I should go in ( and didn't advertise as "free" only to shove a paywall in your face like other "screenings" online), and booked a consultation with Ms Sweet, who was kind, professional, affirming and understanding.

The whole experience has been professional and comforting, any questions or queries I have are answered in hours by the team, and my assessment itself was supportive, affirming and personalised, even going the extra step and booking appointments manually, making sure to be as supportive as possible. It's so clear they care about their patients, and want to help, and even charge so much less than other places, being the only place I could find that provide a personalised AUDHD assessment

Ripoff, do not trust the test result

Over my life time, I developed techniques to function and work, but over a period of last year I was struggling more and more. I have a strong family history of ADHD, but is it represents with very high hyperactivity in other family members, it never occurred to me I may have it as well just in different way.
I took a decision to do a screening call, and I found it a relief to have that initial conversation with dr O’Reilly. I decided to do a full assessment.
This was again with dr O’Reilly, who was thorough, reassuring and helpful. I think it was the first time that through conversation I properly reflected on my experience and challenges alongside my self-doubt and achievements despite those. It was refreshing and am grateful to dr O’Reilly for listening and not judging my fast talking and brain jumping! Following my brain process is a skill, for sure! I felt heard and acknowledged.
I have since shared my experience with the process with my friends and family , I have no reservations recommending AuDHD Psychiatry. Thank you

Diagnosis is a lengthy, scary and emotional process, but I felt safe and heard during my assessments. It was really important to me that I was seen by someone with a lot of experience and understanding as I wanted to make sure that I got the correct diagnosis, so being able to do a combined Autism and ADHD assessment with Dr Tracy King was definitely the right choice for me. She was very reassuring and guided me through it all.

The process itself is very in depth so you know you're getting a genuine diagnosis. I would definitely recommend if you want to feel confident in the result.

We weren't sure what to expect but Dr Garai completely put our minds at ease. Our daughter is seven and quite anxious around new people but she warmed to him almost straight away. The process was smooth, affordable compared to other services and the follow up care included afterwards was something we hadn't expected. Really impressed.

James made the whole process feel very safe and easy to navigate. I was able to think and answer questions without feeling under pressure. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and responses were always quick. No complaints at all.

I had been waiting on the NHS waiting list, which seemed like an eternity and eventually, I thought enough was enough. Dr O'Reilly was tolerant, natural and so simple to get along with. It was never clinical, it was just a straightforward talk. I am pleased that I selected AuDHD Psychiatry.

Exceptional service with good staff and response times. I felt a very welcoming atmosphere and the AuDHD team have been very supportive during my process. I would highly recommend to anybody who is looking to pursue an ADHD or autism diagnosis.

We have a son, who has recently celebrated his 10th birthday, and whose life at school has not been easy. She never gave him an impression that he was being put to the test or analysed. Upon the ending of the call he appeared to o easy and optimistic about the entire affair, which we felt was not an expected occurrence. The report was so detailed and has already paved way to additional support.

The whole experience with the team was so easy, what was an extremely anxious time for my son was made completely stress free by everyone involved. Dr King was extremely sensitive and patient during my sons assessment and she explained the diagnosis so well during the feedback appointment. The process was so quick too, overall around 10 days. I highly recommend.

Claudia was patient and genuinely kind. I came in for an ADHD assessment not really knowing what to expect and she helped me understand myself and my struggles in a way nobody had managed before. The whole team are great and you can get support through email very quickly too. Really glad I chose AuDHD Psychiatry.

I’ve found AuDHD Psychiatry to be so incredibly supportive and affirming in their care. I feel constantly looked after and never without support. Even when asking for a dr letter, I had requested it in the morning and by the afternoon I had one sent to me. Everything is truly about the patient and the team are absolutely lovely. After a difficult experience with the NHS & Right to choose, I couldn't be happier to have found AuDHD Psychiatry. AuDHD Psychiatry were the only provider to accept my diagnosis through another provider so that I could go through the titration process without unnecessary hurdles or long waitlists. Since working with AuDHD Psychiatry, my life has changed significantly. I finally feel like I can achieve my goals both at home and at work without the struggles I used to face.

Dr Garai was great with our son. He's nine and not great with new people but Dr Garai had him comfortable almost immediately. He was chatting away freely by the end of the session. Really couldn't fault it, went from first contact to having the report in hand faster than we expected.

Excellent communication from the admin team pre appointment. Am empathetic and helpful pharmacist.

Easy enough process for ordering my repeat prescription.

All in all I am very pleased with the service you are providing me. I only gave 4 stars and not 5 due to the fact that there have been a few small hiccups, mainly due to the online forms having glitches. I have mentioned these to the person I’ve spoken to on the phone and she has been very understanding and also helpful. Alister.
