My Dear Grandmother used to take me into Audreys in the 60's when it was already an iconic chic establishment. My Mum always had the Cherries in Brandy at Christmas as I do now. An unmissable treat that makes our Christmas's so special. A box of chocolates from Audreys is a gift worth giving!

Absolutely gorgeous chocolates, in the most beautiful of packages (we bought a variety of items and each was boxed, wrapped or presented in such an exquisite way!). Next time I need to visit the shop!

We have been eating Audrey's chocolates for over 40 years. We have also done a lot of "market research" elsewhere - in England and Europe. No-one beats Audrey's yet. We only go for dark chocolates. Their griottes (formerly named cerisettes) are cherries soaked in brandy and then covered in their divine dark chocolate. They arrive nestled in a wooden box. They make the best possible gifts for closest friends and family - (but be sure to order in the summer ready for Christmas). We love that the shop remains its old fashioned lovely self - it is like stepping back into another elegant era and the staff are unfailingly kind, helpful and patient. Long may it continue - basically unchanging and producing the best ever chocolates. PS Pleased to say we have passed on our passion for Audreys to the next generation.

Well what can I say Audrey’s ate the best chocolates around. I use to but th is it’s my late nan. So hat was 40 years ago and they are still as lovely. Had a couple of boxes delivered then popped in fur another couple, The two ladies in there were so lovely, will be going back in there again soon the rose and violets are so yummy, Thank you again and have a lovely Xmas xxx

When there was a delay due to unavailability, Audreys didn't just rush to fill that but sent me more than ordered as a gesture of goodwill. The recipient is going to love these Robins eggs, just as 4 others haveloved the chocolate hedgehog sets. Thank you.

All items were ordered for Christmas. They arrived speedily and in good order. They have yet to be tasted but look delicious!

Audley chocolates are absolutely divine. However, the labelling for the select your own boxes is very poor. I chose a selection of chocolates for an aunt who is in a hospice and at end of life. She has always been very fussy about chocolates, so I deliberately chose all her favourites, hoping to tempt her into the box, safe in the knowledge that every chocolate would delight. When the box came I thought a standard box had been sent in error, as the label gave no reference to being a special selection and implied that the box contained a standard selection. When I questioned this with Audley I was told that it was indeed a bespoke box and was identified by an order code on the reverse side. There is however nothing to tell the recipient that this is a box chosen specially for them and nothing when ordering to make it clear that the box will appear to be a standard box to the recipient. I only hope she listens to me and ignores the packaging when I deliver the chocolates on Wednesday. I’ll certainly order Audley chocolates again - they are delicious. But I’d never order a bespoke box unless the packaging changes.

Great chocolates. Poor service.
I ordered two boxes of self selected chocolates , I only received one . I called but as it went through to the shop , they said they would get someone to call me from packing , no one did . So I emailed . No reply ever to my email . Called again and got the issue resolved and the second box was sent out to me ….no note of apology or small extra to say sorry . However the chocolates are wonderful.

The chocolates are absolutely moreish and the packaging make them a perfect. I’ve long been a chocoholic but Audrey’s have more than exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be ordering again and they would make a perfect gift.

Parcels arrived on time and were very well packed. The boxes are beautiful so chocolates well presented. They are gifts for Christmas so unfortunately they haven't been tasted yet but they look very very cute and I'm excited to see my family open them. I'll be happy to add to the review after Christmas day

It is very rare to feel 100% positive about anything "hand made" in England. A Bentley(Tick), A Morgan (tick) Jermyn Street shirts (Track) and Audrey's Chocolates (Triple Tick) - they are sublime, very special, and make one or two other "pretenders" fade into the shadow that Audrey's cast. If you do nothing else these next few days - order a box - select what you like - and savour every delicious mouthful. Then look at the story behind that mouth orgasm .. it's all down to love and care and a small team in Brighton. Thank you for making something so special.

Whether online or in-person in the Hove shop Audrey's never disappoints. Delicious chocolates skillfully crafted. Always a great present that will be truly appreciated or a self indulgent treat for yourself.
