Very bad service. They did not pay the fees as per our request. We asked them to pay 50% of the tuition fees, but they refused and said that since the offer letter mentions a deposit of £4000, they would only pay that amount. What kind of system is this?

Also, they transferred the fees at an exchange rate which was ₹4 higher than the current Google and forex rates. I would strongly advise others not to take a loan from Avanse. if here -1 rate availabe ill give that.

I am extremely disappointed with the way Avanse handled my education loan.
My name is Bewara Shiva Kumar (Loan Account No: DELEE00961532) and I had taken a loan for ₹41.23 lakhs. However, I only used ₹14.22 lakhs, yet the full amount was disbursed without my approval or consent. I tried calling their representative several times to stop the full disbursement, but they ignored my calls and never responded.
After more than a month of follow-ups and stress, Avanse finally adjusted the unused ₹23.82 lakhs — but they still charged interest on the full disbursed amount, which is completely unfair and misleading.
Their customer care closed tickets without resolving the issue, and there was no clear communication or support during this entire process. Even now, their system is showing an incorrect outstanding loan amount, causing confusion and mental pressure.
This has been a frustrating and unprofessional experience. I strongly urge students to be very cautious before choosing Avanse and to thoroughly review all disbursement conditions. I hope no one else faces the same issue.

I recently processed my education loan through Avanse, with Omkar as my point of contact. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory due to several issues. Omkar appeared to lack the necessary experience, as evident from errors made with my cheques and consistent delays in communicating critical updates. His responses were often vague, such as 'kuch nhi bas itna hi hojayega,' which left me uninformed and uncertain about the process. Additionally, I was not informed in advance about the stamp paper expense and received a last-minute, unprofessional request to make the payment at night. I urge Avanse to improve staff training and ensure timely, transparent communication to enhance customer experience. I hope my feedback helps improve the process for future clients.

The loan process was simple. And you should explain the insurance policy it costs 242000 for me is is almost 10% un the loan amount including the charges.

Avanse was very helpful in granting me a much needed education loan, they took extra effort to make it possible. I would surely recommend Avanse to my peers in future. This company is fraud, they are not helping people. They are giving slow poison as they don’t clerify the insurance terms and when unfortunately when you claim they will pin your mistakes instead of helping.

Because of company’s misselling I am going into depression, stress is feeling like a poison to me already god taken my ability to walk and this company is taking my ability to live and think.

These people have pathetic service. They help while making us customers for the first time, after that they only care about their payments. We are trying to solve a issue from last one month but they are not listening, called them a number of time and every time they dnt have solutions. Even we tried to contact the guy pankaj malik, our loan representative is not responding properly and now despite of paying our instalment in advance they mailed us that we didn't pay. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

I had a highly disappointing experience with Avanse. I recently raised a ticket (#1392732) to prepay a portion of my loan. However, instead of receiving any resolution or support, I got an automated email just 2 hours later stating my issue had been "resolved" — without any explanation, update, or action taken.

There is no effective way to contact their team. Their email responses are generic and unhelpful, and their chatbot is practically useless. While taking the loan, I was bombarded with calls from 4–5 agents, but now that I’m abroad and need proper assistance, there’s no account manager or real customer support to talk to. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

Avanse seems more focused on aggressively selling loans than actually supporting its customers. I regret choosing them and strongly advise others, especially students planning to study abroad, to think twice before taking a loan from Avanse. Their service is inaccessible, irresponsible, and inconsiderate once the loan is disbursed.

A financial company should not disappear when support is needed the most.

DO NOT GO FOR AVANSE. They are a fraudulent, predatory scam company. They increase interest rates without letting you know and scale it up to 17% and beyond. They have a fraud team of lawyers and employees who are out there to scam students and their parents and take all their money. I am writing this review to warn all the individuals who are considering taking anything from them. Do not take any loan from them. Do not approach them or trust them. Please save your money and your time - they are fraudulent scamsters who borrow money from somewhere else and then lend it to you on a very high interest rates.

Do not get into their debt trap. They take 4 blank cheques from you which they can bounce any time and then start start court cases on you under IPC section 138(b) and 141 Negotiable Instruments Act for amounts of money that you will not have in your account.

They are total frauds. Parents and Students - stay away from them.

DO NOT GO for Avanse. In a tenure of 5 years I have paid off the full loan amount, and in about 2 years , the loan repayment schedule was supposed to be completed, at the end of 5 years , they increased the interest rate to 16% and asked us to pay 100% on top of the actual amount.
There are absolutely no RBI guidelines followed, even though the interest rates have reduced.

If you want to do a biggest mistake in life this would be it. I took a study loan. Since day 1 they’re looting my money. For loan approving there are Rs:-20,000 charges.
It started on the first day of disbursement- they said they gonna pay the college fee directly and for converting INR to Euros their conversion charges are far more high than actual rate because the rest of the money going to their pocket. They won’t let take your health insurance outside,, in the name of health insurance they took Rs:- 1,10,000 from my disbursement amount. When I denied they said it’s part of their policy.
Once your visa got approved they’ll need the reason why you need the rest of your amount because they don’t send all the money to your bank account after your loan approval.

Again charges for sending the rest of the money.

After few months I did part payment- 18%Gst will be applied every time you’re doing part payment and extra 18% in the name of updation charges.

All the time they’ll loot your money . If you have loan with them try closing it asap.

Worst company ever I took education loan and I have cleared before 5months from that I was keeping on asking to send me cheques back which I was submitted for security purposes but they were not responding to me they were not sending my cheques back big scammers
And costumers service they were such rude to costumers when we ask for our cheques back
