They SUCK!! Total bs they have dimensions that are totally non-standard so they will try to screw you by having to buy their ghetto frames.

I was going to buy their snowboard map until I discovered the surf map was all a ruse to pay for their framing scam! DO NOT BUY

There were problems with receiving this order.
Frustratingly so! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
I sent through an email & I can honestly say the customer service was phenomenal!😃
I was also given a partial refund whilst still awaiting my order.
However upon receiving 250 Bucket List from Awesome Maps im super impressed with the quality, the artwork, the whole concept actually!
Couldn’t be any happier & will be ordering g future products to gift.
My son (the lucky recipient of my order) is extremely impressed & loves his belated b’dsy gift!

Cuando compré el mapa, en diciembre, en la web ponía que llegaría entre el 5 y el 9 de enero. Una vez realizado el pedido, sin embargo, Sara me envió un correo diciendo que no estaba disponible y que hasta el 9 de enero no recibirían nuevo stock (más lo que tardara el envío de EEUU a España).

Como mi idea era que fuera un regalo de Reyes, le indiqué a Sara que cancelaba el pedido, a lo que me contestó diciendo que estaba segura de que llegaría pronto y que habían entregado mi paquete a la empresa de envíos el día que recibí el email de confirmación del envío. Como es evidente, yo no había recibido ningún email de confirmación del envío, lo que tiene sentido dado que, si no tenían stock hasta el 9 de enero, no podían haberlo enviado antes.

Así se lo hice saber a Sara, pero no me contestó. El día 13 de enero, recibí el email de confirmación de envío, e inmediatamente después me contestó Sara, indicándome que lo sentía pero que ya se había enviado, que si quería lo devolviera una vez recibido.

En definitiva, las fechas que indican en la web no son reales y me han puesto todas las trabas para poder cancelar el pedido. De hecho, no me lo han cancelado a pesar de que lo he solicitado expresamente antes de que fuera enviado.

Actualización: me devolvieron el dinero tras ver el comentario en Trustpilot.

The maps are actually AWESOME, making the honour to its name. The pictures are not fair, since the maps are amazing when you receive them. I bought 6 towels for presents and for my self: Surf map, Bucket list map, Dive Maple and Hiking map. The touch from the material, the big size of the towel, and all the details in the drawings as well as how well printed the design is on the towel, all this was a great surprise. Didn't expect that level of detail and quality. You can tell these designs are really made with care and love, and I brought a big smile to each of the persons I gave it too. Really happy with it, just doing right now my second purchase. Thank you, highly recommend. TOP

My order got lost before the holidays but the team reached out to keep in close touch. Communications were awesome. I reordered the map towel and it was here in a matter of days and the system kept me in the loop regarding when it would be delivered. Customer service was great and my friend loved the dive map towel. Such a unique idea! I ordered another one for another dive enthusiast friend!

I ordered two towels in mid-Dec expecting delivery before Christmas and I still have not received the towels. I have sent several emails to which I have had no recent reply. I have no tracking information and have already been charged over $200. I note that some of these reviews have received a reply so am trying this avenue. Update - I have now received my order (18/01/24).

Ordered a towel map, received a cloth map. Contacted them for a refund or replacement never heard back. Avoid this dodgy business at all cost. Delivery took 3 weeks missed and missed Christmas.

We are a family that live to travel. My grandsons, aged 10 and 9, love maps, especially the older one, will find an obscure point on Google maps, adjust the map to a tight close up, then ask us to guess the location. Then again, and again!

Putting those two loves together made the perfect gift! First, inventory where we've been, then make a list of where we must go!

I appreciated how the staff kept us informed about the delivery schedule, especially when they knew that we would not have the maps by 12/25. Of course, when the maps arrived, the boys were thrilled to have another box to open!

Planning our next trip!!!!

I ordered two Dive Maps (towels) and an Etosha drybag from Awesome Maps, and the products are beautiful and great quality. The detail on the illustrations is fantastic, and the drybag is a great medium size bag if you need more than just a little bag for phone/keys/etc.
The delivery was over the holiday period, which led to all sorts of complications with shipping, but the Awesome Maps team was super helpful and professional throughout. They went out of their way to find better shipping solutions, and - most importantly - were always responsive and courteous, keeping me updated along the way. The products were gifts, and they were a huge success!
I'll definitely be back for more Awesome Maps products.

I discovered Awesome Maps on Instagram and thought I’d buy a few things for myself. Whilst the parcel took a while to come, Simon and Sara provided fantastic communications on the shipping difficulties - this means their marketing worked superbly AND they backed it up with genuine care for their customers.
Unlike some companies who mistreat their workers in massive warehouses to achieve shorter delivery timeframes (at a ridiculous cost to Aus….yes Am@z$n!!), this is a small business.
Everything was packaged securely and I love my maps, diaries and lunch bag!!
Will purchase more in future.

The delivery is shocking. When I placed the order in November the website said it would be delivered mid-December. It is now January and there is still no sight of it.

They should not create false expectations, and then do not send any tracking details.

Excellent quality towels and lightweight for travel. The company kept me informed of delivery progress all the time. Great communicators. Highly recommend both the company and their awesome map towels!

Great gift for my globe trotting son! He was thrilled to receive it and loved the details. It was a Xmas gift and so when he opened it we all gathered to have a closer look and were impressed with the quality and detail.
I was also very impressed with a very personal communication from the team at Awesome Maps regarding the delivery as it was close to Xmas. They kept me updated explaining the process and the map arrived on time.

Like everyone else, ordered with guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Just arrived today (2nd January). The recipient isn't even here anymore. So now I have to post it. More money spent on an item that was very expensive to begin with. The product itself is ok...certainly lots of detail. I find the colours a but underwhelming but I guess I should've looked at the pics closer when I ordered. Wouldn't order again sadly :(

This review doesn’t relate to the map itself, which may be fine, for all I know. I can’t rate the map, because I haven’t received the map, even though it was ordered in November and promised for Christmas. The intended recipient is now home in the UK, so either they will not get the map at all, or I will have to pay extra to have it shipped to them. Assuming it shows up at all.

I did receive some email communications attempting to explain the problem with shipping, but frankly, the explanations were more in the line of excuses. I would have been a (little) bit happier if I’d received a response to an email which I sent more than 10 days ago (they suggested they would take emails from those who hadn’t received their maps) requesting more information. I guess there are excuses for not responding to emails as well.

Overall, I would suggest finding another source for maps 0or gifts) until they’ve resolved their problems - and telling us that the problems are resolved isn’t good enough. They did that, and I still don’t have my map (three, actually).

This company is so very ethical and treats their customers with such respect and care. I wish their ethics were the rule rather than the exception My order could have been delayed (it was not) but they took the time and effort to keep me informed about my orders every step of the way. Thank you Awesome Maps I can’t recommend you highly enough.
