Ive been in Australia for 8 weeks, first shopping trip was M&S! Sooo missed the quality, taste and in my opinion value for money of their food hall. Im a pensioner so dont have a lot of spare income but choose to put quality of food at the top of my list. The offers the store have are really good. Been a customer most of my 51 years of married/family life. The rest of the store products are also good but its the food hall I miss the most. Using the M&S credit card is an added bonus! The rewards scheme is excellent.

I have been a loyal customer to M&S for a very long time and spent an awful lot of money with them. I am extremely dissatisfied with a recent situation that happened this week whilst landing in Pisa for a short break. My husband booked online car hire - he very rarely uses his M&S card - he handed his card over at the car rental desk and it got declined and blocked -we called M&S at the car rental and they said it’s because my husband had not used his card to purchase anything using his pin in the UK. This information had never been offered up as had we or he known this before leaving the UK he would have done so. He had paid for insurance for the car hire on the internet using his M&S card but because his card was declined in Italy airport car rental he had to pay twice using our nationwide card. This is very disappointing and will be sent to the complaints department. It caused us enormous stress in a foreign country . I could not use my card as it was booked with his card which got declined and blocked - if this is not resolved on our return to the UK and extra insurance money refunded we will rethink our commitment with M&S

I’ve always loved Marks& Spencer, and it’s always easy using and paying on my credit card, also settling up at the end of the month. I am a new account holder. On receiving my Credit card I spoke to M+S requesting an additional card holder. After 20 days of waiting I used the chatbot which was hopeless and passed me to a handler. who started helping me and I was told this is a 10 day process...I raised I had been waiting for 20 days with no update. Then I was told as his shift was ending I would be passed to some one else. I then had to wait again, it was then taken on by another handler but after 55 mins on the chat I asked simply, has the application been accepted/had my card been issued and lost in post? I was told I had to phone security separately. Wasn't transferred and so after an hour I don't know where I stand re the card and possible security issue. Disappointing experience.
