Ordered a tub chair online on a monday this was after four pm so couldn't get next day delivery so delivery would be a Wednesday.
Even though i ordered and NOT knowing or coming up online this was out of stock and took my payment.
Tuesday I received an email saying I could change my order to something else or wait for delivery for the item I ordered.
As this company didn't offer me a refund I asked for one.
After putting in a request for the refund they offered me a 20% discount which I also rebuffed.
Update Recieved full refund.
But i would recommend that before anybody buys check that they have the item in stock.
Should be the company doing this on a regular basis so you are NOTpaying for something they don't have.
Gave 3 stars instead of the original 1 as I have my refund.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We would, however, like to add a bit more context to the points raised.
Your order was placed on Monday, 17 August at 18:31, outside our office hours. When our team reviewed the order the following morning and identified a stock discrepancy, we contacted you at 09:57 to make you aware.
At no point was a full refund refused or withheld. From our first email, a cancellation was always available alongside the alternative options of waiting for the new stock due on, due end of August (27th) or changing to a similar model that was available for immediate delivery. As neither alternative was suitable, you chose a full refund, and your refund request was passed to our Accounts team on 18th August for processing. The refund was then completed in full and received by you within five working days, in line with the processing times advised.
As both an online retailer and a showroom, our stock levels are constantly changing as orders are placed across different channels. While we work hard to keep stock information as accurate as possible, occasional discrepancies can unfortunately occur.
We would also echo your recommendation that customers contact us before placing an order where stock availability is particularly important. Our team can also discuss availability in advance and, where possible, arrange for stock to be held if needed.
We apologise that on this occasion we were unable to fulfil your original order, but we hope the above provides some clarity regarding the options offered and how your full refund was handled.

Order Never Received - Appalling Customer Service
I placed my order back in April 2026 for three bar stools. The following day I was told one colour was out of stock but they were due in the “back end of May” if I was willing to wait - which I agreed to as we wanted these stools in these specific colours.
At the beginning of June, I chased up for the first time to be told there were cargo issues and now expected delivery was end of June.
At the end of July, I chased this up again - having had no communication or updates in the meantime. I then got told the date would be “mid August”.
This week I have once again chased (again no communication at all from the company as to the status of my order.) I was then told it would arrive 26th September, 5 months since I placed my order! I said this was unacceptable and asked for a partial refund, which was ignored - but in the next response I got I was told it was arriving by the end of August!!
Very hard to believe anything that the customer services team are telling me! Last night I sent an email asking them to cancel and refund this part of the order, and this morning I was offered a partial refund if I waited - which quite frankly was laughable at this point!
The other two bar stools were delivered on time and we’re happy with them - but this whole farce has ensured that I will never recommend or use this company again.
