I used to have crowded teeth on both my upper and lower jaw. I started my treatment in my mid 30s, and honestly, I really didn’t want the classic metal braces. That’s when I found Basma, and I started my journey with them.

I’m not usually someone who remembers to write reviews, but everything was genuinely perfect from the detailed scans, to how precise and well organized each step was, and how accurate they were with the delivery timeline. Their customer service is amazing: always quick to reply and genuinely helpful.

One of the best parts for me was not having to do monthly clinic visits or deal with traffic. I’m someone who really dislikes dentists and clinic visits, so this made a huge difference. Even the first smile simulation and the estimated treatment time turned out to be exactly as promised.
What I truly appreciate is that even after finishing my treatment, whenever I have a question, they still respond with care as if I’m a permanent member.

The process was simple and straightforward, there was just some very small issues with timings but other than that everything was amazing.

Basma was very patient with me , wearing retainers and keeping up to the schedule was very hard for personal reasons . They always sent kind reminders and helped me along the journey . I’m really happy with the overall outcome - my teeth look great and I would recommend to all - as it was the most affordable and being able to take pics and send instead of in person appointment was really convenient.

The retainer journey has been very successful and smooth. Communication was clear, expectations were well aligned, and results were delivered consistently. It has been a valuable partnership, and I’m very satisfied with the progress and outcomes achieved.

Everyone should be careful about paying anything in advance. Once you visit, they are friendly and explain everything, and once the payment is done, their attitude changed 100% to be rude, unprofessional, and careless, and the results are totally different from what they promised. The staff are super rude and unprofessional, that's not a cosmetic and medical service, that's pure scum. Advise everyone only pay after finishing the sections

I visited Basma Clinic (Beirut, Gemmayze) a couple of years ago because they advertised a fast solution without the need for repeated dentist visits. From the very beginning, I clearly explained that I would be leaving the country for an unknown period (definitely longer than the treatment duration) and explicitly asked whether the entire treatment plan could be done in one visit.

I was reassured multiple times—in person and via chat—that this would not be a problem and that the treatment could be continued remotely as long as I wore the aligners regularly.

Only after the scans were taken did I receive payment details and was informed that the treatment could be done in one session only if I paid the full amount upfront, which I did.

Weeks later, I was told to come for IPR and aligner pickup. Instead of one session, I was scheduled for two IPR sessions and given 18 aligners. When I asked if the two IPR sessions could be combined into one (as previously agreed), the answer was a blunt “No, not possible.”
Later, several orthodontists in Germany confirmed that this was not medically necessary and mainly cosmetic.

During the IPR procedure, the orthodontist cut into my gums, causing significant bleeding and severe pain. I was told this “cannot be avoided,” which is simply untrue. I do not have overgrown gums. I was in visible pain, tears running down my face, yet the procedure continued without compassion or care. Only thinking about this now... WTF Basma?! Torture?!?!?!?!

No anesthetic was offered.
No warning was given beforehand that bleeding and gum injury are “normal.”
No effort was made to avoid damaging my gums. I was literally told HEK END EL KEL, HAIDA NORMAL.

As expected, I then left the country for two years.

When I contacted the clinic again—as previously agreed—to continue my treatment, I was sent back and forth between Beirut and Dubai numbers, with extremely slow replies and only forwarded voice messages, making communication unnecessarily difficult. Seriously, voice messages from the "patient care agent" is unprofessional, snobby and lazy AF.

Their final solution?
Restart the entire treatment from zero—new scans, new aligners, new payment—because suddenly the assurance that the treatment could be continued was labeled a “misunderstanding.”
This assurance was given to me in person, before starting the treatment,during my first visit and during my second visit.

Once payment was made, the attitude changed completely. The answer to every concern became:
“It is like that.”

Additional issues:

I was not informed that aligners are difficult to remove with long nails

I was not offered any tools or alternatives (e.g. Invisalign removal hooks). They saw my nails. They told me to try to remove the first aligner. I was not able to. The orthodontist laughed it off and informed that it will be difficult the first few times, but I will "adjust". No, I will have to say goodbye to my beloved nails. WHICH WAS NOT EVEN HINTED.

I was not informed that “everyone bleeds” during IPR

I was not given any pain management options. In general, everything with basma is THIS ONE OPTION OR NON.

Was I misinformed? Yes.
Was I let down as a patient and customer? Absolutely.

I lost around $2,000, endured months of pain, and achieved no results.

Would I recommend Basma Clinic?

If you need anything beyond basic aligners: No

If you need IPR: No

If you have specific conditions or time constraints: No

If you worry of facing any issue during your treatment: NO

Initial friendliness does not compensate for misinformation, lack of accountability, and a complete disregard for patient continuity once payment is received.

I recently completed my journey with Basma.com. At first I was hesitant and not too sure if the results will turn out as I expected. At the end my teeth are exactly how I wanted them to be!
