Unprofessional
Unprofessional. Apparently unaware of legislation in regard to empty properties, unaware of council tax laws or implementation of same. Very selective memories. Read carefully Bradley’s disclaimer on their particulars. They are responsible for nothing at all - including misinformation at any time, ever. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

GDPR concerns
I have valid concerns regarding where this company store data and what they do with it.
Another reviewer has alluded to fact that they demand you supply a whole lot of personal and financial data before they’ll even speak to you as a potential tenant. They even demand a photo of your Experian credit report. (It’s worth noting here that when you apply for a tenancy you are not applying for credit, indeed the opposite is the case as rental payments are made in advance.)
I’ve no issue providing this information to a landlord once I’ve viewed a property and expressed interest in taking the rental further, I expect to then have to complete forms and undergo referencing. That’s a normal and balanced approach.
Having rented for over 30 years, I’ve seen changes but this one, this pre-screening, feels a little sinister, and possibly discriminatory. (For example they state that someone with a zero hours contract will be refused automatically, this doesn’t apply to me however I think there are a lot of full-time employees who would fall into that category. Proving evidence of a steady income should be the criteria.)
I’m sure Bradley’s are going to come
Out with their ‘protecting the landlords’ line here, but who is protecting potential tenants and their personal information?

We wanted to view a property but was…
We wanted to view a property but was told I had to fill out an online form. This form wanted all my personal/financial data and the personal/financial data of all persons who were to occupy. Very odd request as if I wanted to view a product such as a caravan, boat, bed, car etc etc I would not have to show my data before browsing. Then I wanted to ask a question before filling the form out only to be directed to the online form which wanted my data before I could ask a question. Please don't misunderstand me, I would be happy to supply this information when I had decided to rent the property but certainly not before. No wonder their website boasts of 100,000 registered applicants (?).
At this stage I have read the reviews of this company here and on other sites and I will no longer be wanting their services. It feels if I have avoided a poisoned challis.

First Time Buy To Let
I purchased my apartment through Bradleys St Ives Office in 2021 and found Ben and the St Ives team very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. Impressed by their professionalism, I appointed Bradleys as the letting agent, knowing that everything would be covered to ensure both myself and my tenants would be looked after. Ben and the team have continued to be helpful and approachable and as I live up North it has given me great peace of mind knowing that my buy to let is in good hands. I would not hesitate to use Bradleys in the future and would happily recommend them to others
Duty of care
We have land to sell, we accepted an offer from a buyer, who told us she had sold her house and was living in rented accommodation, that was in June, we had a contract drawn up in July by our solicitor,we presumed it was a cash sale.we find our self in October, we were in touch with our solicitor, we found out that she hadn't sold her house, our estate agent should have a duty of care to do a full background check, when an offer is put forward, he did not!! We immediately with drew the land, and cancelled the contract that we had drawn up , it cost us nearly six hundred pounds
I contacted the agent and left half a dozen emails telling him about the situation , and took all the relevant papers, and emails, he has yet to get back to me, we feel very angry over his lack of professional conduct
Firstly would not give any stars
Firstly would not give any stars, minus 5 would be more appropriate. Surveyor could not distinguish between a Cornish Branch Line Halt with a free car-park (mostly for residents, who have nowhere else to park in our narrow village). Her report was to down value our property because we live near a station, which she failed to explain to the lender is not Manchester Piccadilly, London Waterloo or Leeds Central.
We are now forced to sell our home of 23 years, avoid Bradley’s Estate Agents in Devon/Cornwall, they undervalue, have no local knowledge and make a living surveying for naive Equity Release Companies. Thank you, not, J green stone.

NEWQUAY BRANCH - QUESTIONABLE ETHICS
I won’t deal with dishonest people and will never buy or let a property through Bradleys ever in the future.
I spoke to Alex and Richard in the office last Monday morning when I went there to put in an offer for a property they had listed for sale. I asked to have my offer phoned through to the vendor whilst I was sitting there and Alex stated (in front of Richard who was clearly aware of what was going on) that he had only just tried to reach the vendor 5 minutes earlier but had again been unsuccessful in reaching him, as had been the case when he’d tried several times on Saturday as well. I was about to find out in a few minutes that they HAD been successful in reaching the vendor and obviously DID get through as soon as I left the office. I found this out because I went straight from their office to the property a couple of streets away to check something on the outside when the owner saw me from inside and came out. I explained that I hadn’t meant to disturb him but that I’d just wanted to check on back garden access from the outside. He was quite friendly and came out to chat, so I told him that I’d just put in an offer for the property and he told me that he'd just taken the call from the agent but had turned down my offer because he’d already accepted an offer earlier over the weekend (through this very same agent at Bradleys). A moment later whilst I was still talking to the vendor, the agent called to tell me he’d managed to reach the vendor, but that the vendor had told him he was going to wait for a higher offer because the property hadn’t been on the market for long. So either the vendor lied when he said he’d accepted an offer via a phone call he’d received from the agent on Saturday or the agent Alex was lying when he said hadn’t been successful in reaching the vendor over the weekend or that morning and that the vendor was waiting for a higher offer! I hung up and told the vendor what the agent Alex had just said to me. His response was that he was just trying to push up the price further. The vendor said he had spoken to the agent and had taken all calls over the weekend (contrary to what the agent said to me. As if someone would put a house on the market and not be available to take calls from the agent on the first day it’s shown to potential buyers?!) I asked Alex if my offer would be relayed to other buyers once I’d submitted it, and he said it would NOT. He told me that all interested parties submit their best offers for the vendor to decide which he may accept. What nonsense! Between my leaving the office and the few minutes later when Alex rang the vendor, the agent DID call the other purchaser to tell them about my offer (precisely what he'd told me he wouldn't do)!
Worse than this is that the vendor stated that he had already accepted the offer from this other purchaser earlier on the weekend, but it seems the agent just hadn’t gone back to her yet to let her know her offer had been accepted because I'd told him on Saturday that I would be putting in an offer myself on Monday morning. So it would appear that he'd waited for that before calling her to tell her to offer more then called me trying to involve me in a bidding war. I was standing right in front of the vendor at the time having just heard from the vendor exactly what the chain of events had been! I refuse to deal with agents that I can’t trust. So when I have purchased this next property, I certainly won’t be asking Bradley’s to manage it. It seems their letting side have acquired a rather large collection of poor reviews as well.
Strangely enough, if I hadn’t felt lied to by the agent, I’d have paid the full asking price and possibly even above it (my original offer hadn’t been too far off anyway) and full asking price from a cash buyer IS a great offer! But from this point onwards, I will never deal with them again.
Unhelpful and poor customer servcice
I visited the Bradley's Estate Agent branch in Exeter to enquire further about two rental properties in Exeter and was told not to come in to the office, when I explained the issue with the application the staff said they could not help. Myself and my friend who visited earlier found the staff unhelpful and not friendly.
I had previously tried to call Bradleys in Exeter to ask about the query I had and was told they don't discuss rental on the phone, also the information they gave me did not help the issue.
I do not find their service acceptable or inclusive.

Recently viewed a property through Bradley’s Estate Agents of Taunton.
We met a young lady called Lucy Lee who showed us around the property. She was so very helpful and I can’t thank her enough. We decided to go ahead with the purchase. Bradley’s recommended a solicitor ( whose fees were reasonable and it was a no sale no fee),and Lucy sorted this out for us. Within an hour of saying we would use the solicitors we had a letter from them telling us everything we would need to do. We also mentioned a survey and she has recommended someone to us again. Nothing has been too much trouble for her. I would like to say a big thankyou to Bradley’s for all their help
Bradleys lettings/rentals
My review is only regarding the lettings/rental department of Bradleys Estate Agents.
They allowed our landlord to continually harass us thoughout our entire tenancy. We complained to them every time which resulted in our landlord issuing us with a section 21.

I am truly frustrated as to how unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable outfits (refuse to call them a business) like this are allowed to operate. It’s been over a month when a broken window frame in a property that they supposedly manage was reported and nothing has been done to fix it. Calling them twice or more times a day and we are basically told that they get to it when they get to it. Leaving this review, I can clearly see that I am not alone in thinking of this outfit as charlatans

Agreed on a viewing. Blown.
Agreed on a viewing. They forget about it. They never show up. They never tried to sell a property , many ads were already sold. But they try to sell you a mortgage now. Emails receive a daily spam. Not possible to remove account. Their customer service do not care. They told me it was my fault that they were not there. Very very rude. Do not waste time with them.
Update: Pathetic, no other words.

Poor Property Management
Absolutely appalling. As a Landlord my tennant reported an urgent leak and it took 2 months for them to fix it. The leak got worse and I am chasing them for deterioration. They never respond in a timely manner (if at all) and do not enforce the lease. Management fees that you pay are a waste of time. You have to always chase them. I would never use them again and the only reason we used them is that we arriver 100 miles away and they bought out the previous agents. Avoid, Avoid!

Excellent Service from Bradley’s Taunton
Can not recommend Bradley’s Estate Agents in Taunton enough, recently had to sell my Dads property as he had gone into a nursing home, they were so very caring and supportive, at a time that was so emotionally draining, whilst always remaining professional, nothing was to much trouble, they kept on top of the sale, right through to completion, leasing with all parties and keeping me informed. Excellent service

Taunton Branch
Taunton Branch - dealings with Jacqueline who acted as agent and co-ordinator to market the house did a great job. The marketing strategy was spot on and attracted much interest as planned. The photographer who prepared the brochure material was also very professional and sign-board put up in promptly in desired spot as requested. Always available as needed to discuss progress. Definitely will use Bradleys again for future sales.
Taunton agency are the best
Taunton agency are the best! After Purple Bricks undervalued my house by £50,000 I got the Taunton Branch to come and value my home. When I found out that Bradley's would market it for the £50,000 more I was more than happy to take it off the market with Purple bricks. Luckily my buyer went higher so I killed two birds with one stone. I just want to say a massive thankyou though to the Taunton branch because if it wasn't for you i wouldn't of had the confidence to do what I did. So polite and proffesional! If I ever had to sell another house Bradley's would be my port of call.
Terrible agents
Terrible agents!
Refuse to believe anything their tenants say, even when proven wrong, they are right. They just argue with you and won't listen to your point of view or even consider that we are not at fault
Door leaks? Must be dog wee, even when shown it is not and there's no possible way the dogs can get to that door.
Repairs? Haven't heard of them, even though they've been reported multiple times and shown to an agent.
8 months to repair a hole in the floor big enough for a child to fit through. Almost a year to complete the new legal electrical requirements. Not to mention the repairs that needed doing when we first moved in 5 years ago.
Builders leave a HUGE mess, tenants fault for having stuff 'lying around'. Even though that stuff was thrown into the middle of every room because Bradley's refused to forward any correspondence saying we had to move ALL over furniture before they turned up. So naturally because we have 'too much stuff' its ok that I had to take multiple days off work and now have irreplaceable items and collectables now covered in plaster. As well as the rubbish in the garden. Bits of saw, screws, metal etc on the floor with babies and dogs around is apparently acceptable practice.
New electrics (from our friendly cowboys mentioned above) don't work and they say its our BRAND NEW washing machine (even though it works fine in other plugs in the house) and now threatening us with being responsible for damaging the new electrics.
Every time we need something doing its down to the tenants to contact the builders, or landlord etc, so I'm not sure what they actually get paid to do?
Mention any of these times and they tell you you are in violation of your tenancy and threaten eviction. We've already made an official complaint but that's conveniently being ignored.
Sadly We've learnt that more gets done when making complaints publically. 2.3 stars i think says a lot, its not just us that aren't happy

Terrible service false promises and…
Terrible service false promises and personally I feel that I have been discriminated of my name or race. Because i phone up the office to make a appointment to view a property on 10 Eastern Avenue Liskeard. I explained my self to the branch Manger Martin Durber that I am very interested and a cash buyer and ready to go I will be travel up from north Warwickshire. He said ok appointment was made me and my family traveled to Cornwall to view the property. To which surprise he phoned me and txt me to say the property has sold. Very Disappointed with Bradley’s And the branch manger is so rude and I feel he was discriminating me because of my race or name. Not even give me the opportunity to see the house made me travel all that way for nothing . So I personally feel that Bradley’s staff members need more training and politeness and don’t lye to customers and make them travel that far. Me and my family feel really upset. And will be writing to the chairman of the company regarding this matter I wish it not to happen again to someone else to professional at all….
