Site continuously blocks my Telstra IP range.

I cannot browse for potential bikes to buy without getting a "you have been blocked" message.

The site is a joke, blocking a IP range/subnet because someone "is using a VPN, blocking javascript or using robot scraping tools" on a site to sell motorbikes is ridiculous.

Not impressed for the money you pay for to advertise on bikesales. For advertising a motorcycle thats less than 5k it should only cost $20.

I do not recommend.

it sold on here as it is the major forum. There isn't enough oversight of adds. people put them in as a lower price to avoid carsales cost and then put in description higher price. this tells me not enough oversight and to expensive

Extremely poor sellers notification system.
All emails informing me that someone wished to talk ended up in spam.
I hadn't marked them as junk, so clearly the generated emails are composed so poorly that spam filters block them.
I lost multiple possible buyers because i don't check my spam folders daily/hourly.
Contacted customer service with this issue, they didn't seem to really care.

UPDATE: Even after removing bikesales from spam filter its still being marked as spam due to the horrible generated email addresses they send messages from. I have now lost 5 enquires due to this.

The good folk at Bikesales have been most helpful, patient and understanding. I could not be happier with their assistance in guiding me through the process. Great work team Bikesales 👍.

Just too expensive using Carsales network, either Bikesales or Carsales. It's not the only platform for selling and I didn't sell any of 3 vehicles through there network.
Uploading photos is a nightmare, keeps crashing, loosing your advert and photos, damn annoying and this has happened for years.

Ease of access for making edits and detailed marketing reports. Also a good source for research and information.

Bikesales was very good , helpful and easy to do the ad .
Have used Bikesales & Carsales very often .

Overpriced, useless website with no traffic, can't keep up with the ages yet costs the most. Times have changed, get with it.

I am very fortunate to have sold to a fair honest couple who knew exactly what they were doing and made the process flawless. Thankyou bike sales :)

I went onto the site looking for a new motorcycle, but got blocked because apparently I was moving the curser and clicking faster than a human can and therefore must be a robot trying to either hack the site or trying to assassinate the prime minister or something

Waste of time on bike sales, i got more interest on market place on Facebook and that was free.

It's always first lookr that buys and they know what they want. All good.

I use bike sales and/or car sales every time for more than just selling. It's a great place to browse and research as well. And safe too.

A good viewing audience and results eventually achieved.

The main reason for using bike sales is although there are free sites to advertise. I have never come across a scammer as with other sites. The buyers seem to be more genuine and less lowball offers. If there is a genuine buyer looking for your particular type of ride then they will no doubt look at this site. Its a given.

I've sold 2 bikes here, priced right, they both sold reasonably quickly for the asking price.
I was pretty lucky I guess, right place at the right time, but........ at least I didnt get besieged by the scammers........... got one when selling a Harley Fatboy, other than that, two genuine of which one purchased.... the 2nd was a Kwak Versys SE, priced on the money, sold to the 3rd enquiry.....

Well I didn't get a single call other than one from a dealership offering way less than I wanted.

The whole process was very easy and smooth and I was contacted personally by a Bikesales employee, by phone, when the add was posted. The scooter attracted 17 interested people/prospective buyers and a deposit was taken for it on the day the add was posted.
