Pretty fast, a little bit expensive

Simple online process, except it’s not clear once you pay for your test as to what the next step is. For Quebec you will need to change website to get an appointment at a Dynacare clinic near you. In my case it was a walk in with no appointment required which was great.

There were 2 issues I experienced in my blood test order.

1) I made a typo mistake in my personal information. The system does not provide a way for me to correct the mistake. It was a one time only input which is a nightmare for end user. I made 4 attempts in three days to ask for help. Initially, a staff made the correction. However, I didn't get any revised lab acquisition send to me. I had to further pushed it and finally I received the revised copy attached in email. The more friendly way is to attach it to my account and let me download it. Simple and straight forward.

2) The test result was late. The site indicates a turn around time of 3 days. I received it on the fifth business day after the test. If there is a delay, I expect a notification which is not available at all. Again, this can be an easy integration into the system

There was no waiting around for information or someone to get back to you, everything was done in a timely manner.
If there is a problem, someone gets back to you right away to fix the problem.

For the first three months the service was excellent and I received my blood tests results very quickly. But then Blood Test Canada stopped replying to all my emails. This became an issue since email correspondence is the only way to communicate with Blood Tests Canada. The chat option on their web site has been disable and they do not have a phone number to contact customer service. Since they are no longer replying to my emails I am hesitant to place an order because if something goes wrong I may not be able to contact them.

Super easy to order this test online. I showed up at the lab with the printed requisition for and provided the sample. A few days later I had my results. This was so easy and better than arguing with my doctor to order the test.

Everything went as was stated on the website. I was very pleased with how easy it was to get my requisition, go the Dynacare, get my blood work done and results were done within the time period stated on the website,. I will definitely use Blood tests Canada again if I need more blood work that my doctor refuses to do for me.

A great alternative to having to go through the cumbersome process of a doctors office. I was used to having to fight with my doctor for the tests I wanted and he would argue that it's expensive and costs the province money so he wouldn't order the specific tests I felt I needed. The medical industry is taught to treat illness not optimize your health. So this was a breath of fresh air and my results came emailed with full explanations in 4 business days! Yes it costs money and it isn't cheap but pay now or pay later when it comes to health. I chose to pay now.
