Blue Horizon have been offering Canadian Private Blood Test referrals to Dynacare locations in Ontario, since 2012. As of November 2022 we have been able to also offer bloodwork within Manitoba. Our dedicated and professional service ensures all referral paperwork to the laboratory - you book the appointment according to the guide pages for each province, and we follow up results for you, providing our own GP comments if needed. This is an integrated pathology service and doesn't rely on DIY postal blood test kits.

I am very happy with this service
I am very happy with this service. It was easy to order, my local lab did the blood draw and the results came straight to my email.
I hate that in Canada doctors don't support a preventive approach to health, so asking for tests is always a production and they won't order anything past the basics for you.
Then here in Manitoba, you also need to see the doctor twice: to order the tests and to get a copy, as they won't give them to you online. It's such a waste of time! And they do it purely to charge your insurance for two appointments.
I decided to bypass the system by using this service and am pretty glad I did.

Blood technicien mistake not caught early
The Blood lab forgot to do one of my test and I found out after I left town and now live far from a dynocare lab; otherwise, results were clear and informative.

The service was super quick!
The service was super quick! However, I've had my blood taken probably 20 times (at various other occasions like my doctor's office) but this one was one of the most painful, so that part was a bit more unpleasant than expected.

As advertised, quick turn around.
Quick turn around in 2 days after blood collection. Detailed results and provided doctor notes are nice in lieu of family physician.

Detailed testing that is very easy to access - a necessity in Canada. Is money well spent to avoid sitting in the ER for 8 hours.

I highly recommend for anybody looking…
I highly recommend for anybody looking to have blood test done, to take this route. The process was efficient and I received results one day after I did my blood test.
I wish I would have clicked the option of having a doctor's report/review of my results. It is an option and it is an extra cost but I think it's worth it. Love this system!

Test Done Well. Results Quick. Interpretation Very Useful
Test were done in a timely manner after I arrived for my appointment. The test results and report were delivered very quickly within a day. The presentation of the test results could be improved upon. Font change and darker ink to make it more easily readable and separation of each test result spaced better for easier reading. Once I signed up for Dyncare Health the test results there were better presented. The Doctor's interpretation of my results were very useful.
