Very incompetent, was waiting more than a month for a simple report. Utterly unbelievable that they could be this bad.

Not sure what they've changed recently but the last few times I've used it it doesn't give any results. Waste of time.

Spent 10 minutes filling in the form, and got ONE lousy quote.

Answered all the questions on their car insurance quote queries page and they were unable to give me a quote - have insurance with other company, have 10+year no claims, have been driving in Ireland for 20+ years, have never been flagged to not insure. Feels like it may just be an easy way to obtain data. Complete waste of time either way...

BONKERS.ie Do not give the cheapest prices for Broadband . They only Quote for preferred Broadband providers and not the cheapest providers . I asked a cheaper provider why they are not listed on Bonkers and I was told that you must pay Bonkers.ie and that Bonkers.ie wont deal with independent and cheaper Irish broadband providers , I ended up using ruralbroadband.ie as they provided NBI fiber broadband cheaper than those advertised on Bonkers.ie and Ruralbroadband.ie are guaranteed Irish , Its easy to check before committing and read the SMALL Print, In most of the providers BONKERS.ie promote, in the SMALL Print the price will increase by 7.5% TWICE during your contract, This dosent happen with Independent Providers .

I used Bonkers.ie to "compare Ireland's best insurance deals" (as they say on their website) before renewing my motor insurance.
I received three quotes - ALL from Zurich!! No other provider was listed and Zurich's cheapest quote was €200 more than my existing premium.
I discovered afterwards that Bonkers.ie EXCLUSIVELY deal with Zurich. So they are NOT comparing between providers whatsoever.
Total scam. They should be reported to the Competition Authority or the Advertising Standards Authority.

Hi, I have used bonkers.ie for years & thought I could trust them by now! NO SO!!! I signed up with YUNO Energy and in less than a month they have emptied my bank account of just under €500 !! My Electric bill was as usual €74 so they are keeping a high balance credit including Government Energy Credit! I rang Yuno & was assured they would be taking no more from my bank acc. €45 removed yesterday!! Ponzi Scheme to harvest the State Energy Credit Programme & customers acc.!! I look at reviews basically slating companies and throwing them under the bus, making you have second thoughts of taking advice from or selecting a service from, I believe when people say they have had issues, but your only hearing one side of the story, I can tell you I have no issues with Bonkers.ie, and only excellent customer service especially from Beth, employee of bonkers went out of her way to help me make the right decision going forward, although I make the final decision which in the first place was a wrong one, but Beth put that right for me, so would I reccomend Bonkers, most definately, it's your 1st step towards a better service, saving you €'s

Really Good Service. I have been using it for over 10 Years both for myself, my Mum's House & telling people far & wide to use it. Can Only Recommend! Also it is the Original one of these type of Services - and the Best One!

Scammers. Took a lot of money from me.

looked for car insurance. filled in all the required information only to be told that they couldn't give me a quote but their insurance partner would be able to deal with me.

Quotes given were far above renewal quote or online quotes with other providers.
I would call the mark up attempted fraud.

Be careful out there when renewing with Bonkers.ie signed up August 13th 2021, went to renew Aigust 11th 2022, reason as 13th fell on a weekend, hit with €50 cancellation charge by Flogas.
Both Flogas and Bonkers have done a Pontius Pilate nothing to do with me. I was of the opinion that Bonkers.Ie operated similar to a brokerage, regretfully no. They are not regulated by CRU for utilities.
They stated the onus in on the customer to ensure they don't transfer early yet they advise it could take 5/10 days to transfer to a different supplier. Be careful out there and don't get mugged like me.

Waited 3 months for Bonkers to process switch from Electricity and Gas providers. During which time, I was on the highest rate. After paying highest rate bills I contacted energy provider directly to switch and save. From now on, better to contact energy providers directly and get better deal and to make sure switch goes through. Bonkers will cost you money and time.

I have filled in the forms five or six times and every time it's come back with zero quote for car insurance, it just asks you to contact Zürich insurance direct - This website is bonkers, it is a waste of time it should be shut down.
