Slow customer support
The first time I tried to purchase it the website had some error but the money was taken. I contacted support because I wasn't sure if I was insured or not as no confirmation email arrived. It took several hours until I got an answer so it turned out I was driving without insurance... I had to call the bank to cancel the transaction and do it again the following day.
Bonzah should have a phone number available for emergency not just send and email and they will get back to you at some point

Thanks for making a review. This was a little bit confusing but I think we've gotten to the bottom of it.
It appears the purchases you made only included your first name but didn't include your surname "Martínez" due to the way the"í" is spelt. Also FYI the purchase from 25th wasn't charged to your credit card, which you noted in your email.

The policy that you purchases (RCLI = Renters Continent Liability Insurance) is just about our biggest seller. The reason that its so popular is because it is primary liability insurance in all 50 states e.g. it is the first liability policy to be claimed upon.
I see you are from Illinois: Where Primary State Minimum Liability Insurance Applies
Bodily Injury - Per Person - $25,000.00
Bodily Injury - Aggregate - $50,000.00
Property Damage - $20,000.00
The aggregate coverage is $70,000, we can understand that $14.88 is still not cheap, but we hope you do buy it again, because it can really be a lifesaver if a renter has major accident.

Easy to order and easy to change when you need to
Not only was it easy to order the insurance, but when I decided I ordered more than I thought I needed I filled out the online form and they responded within a few hours, even on the weekend, and refunded me the difference without issue or needing to explain myself further.
Plus, when I showed my email with the policy numbers to the rental car agent he said what Bonzah charges is far less than what they would charge at the counter (Enterprise in my case).
I will absolutely use Bonzah again.

Emailed them a few times with questions prior to the trip and never got a reply, it is 1 week after the trip and still not reply to any communication I sent. Makes me wonder if they simply just take your money and how will the service be if I really had a claim.

Didn't have to make a claim. However, the coverage for the price was unbeatable and far cheaper than using the rental company's coverage. Other reviews appeared good if a claim was needed. Simple sign-up and fast delivery of coverage.

Thanks for the making the review on Trustpilot. We've assessed the insurance purchase you made being: RCLI20220512207376 - which was purchased on May/12/2022.
The reason this purchase was not accepted as a claim is because you had purchased the insurance during an existing rental. For example you made the original reservation for CDW for May 1 to May 31 for damage insurance, though on the 12th of May you purchased the RCLI (renters contingent liability) in the middle of a rental period. The problem is that adding insurance during an existing insurance policy isn't valid. It appears you purchased the liability insurance just after you had an accident with another vehicle.
We understand this was most likely just a misunderstanding on your part, though hopefully you can appreciate that purchasing insurance during an existing rental isn't acceptable. Insurance is only valid if it is purchased prior to the rental starting and prior to an accident taking place, and not during a rental period.
