Great products, excellent customer service. Love the range of products from British brands, great communication throughout the shopping process and items are always well packed and shipped quickly to Australia. An all-round fabulous shopping experience.

Had issue with delivery but resolved

Placed an order on 26th September to Australia, relying on the advertised 2-5 business-day delivery, so I could receive the item before my trip. Dispatch was quick and completed on the next business day (Monday), but the delivery has been terrible, and as of today, I have yet to receive the item.

First, the delivery manager in the FedEx app or on the website doesn't work, so I have to call them to arrange a redirection to a collection point. The tracking stopped for a few days in Feltham, UK. I called FedEx again to clarify the delay and locate the parcel, and was told by the agent that it was still sitting in the UK. Then I contacted British Attire to clarify the situation with FedEx and was told the parcel is already in Australia, although the online tracking still does not show. Today (2nd Oct, Friday), I have called FedEx Australia again and was told the item won't be delivered this week, and MAYBE they could do it next week on 8 October (9 business days, still no guarantee). The agent asked me not to call again and just wait for the collection email.

So right now I am stuck here and hoping they could actually deliver to the correct collection point sometime next week, before my flight. The entire experience was extremely stressful, and the advertised 2-5 business-day delivery is more like 6-10 business days with FedEx. If I had known that, I wouldn't have placed the order. If I can actually receive the item next week, I will change the rating, but right now I am deeply disappointed with the delivery process.

Update: I am pleased to have received my order on 6 October before my trip. The British attire team has followed up with FedEx actively, and I would like to thank them for their assistance in resolving this. Nevertheless, I wish there were another courier option like DHL offered in the future

We’re sorry that the delivery has been such a frustrating experience, particularly as you ordered specifically to receive the item before travelling.

As you mentioned in your review, your order was dispatched promptly on the next business day and we’ve been in contact with you to help establish its location and resolve the issues you’ve experienced with FedEx.

Unfortunately, once an international shipment has been handed over to the carrier, delays and issues with their tracking or delivery management systems are outside of our direct control. The vast majority of our orders to Australia arrive promptly and within the estimated delivery timeframe, so what you’ve experienced here is certainly not typical.

We completely understand your frustration with FedEx, but we are disappointed to receive a 1-star review for British Attire when the issues described relate to the carrier’s handling of the parcel after we dispatched it. We’ve responded to your enquiries and will continue to help where we can until your parcel is safely delivered.

We sincerely hope FedEx completes the delivery before your trip.
