The staff at the Stockton office all need to go on a customer service course as there personal skills are disgraceful. They take to you like something they just stood in even though your the reason they have a job, it costs nothing to nice or even civil.

After having numerous issues with our solicitors in regards to our house move, Claire Towey was absolutely fantastic in chasing them, aswell as the sellers solicitors to attempt to get to a completion date as quickly as possible. She responded to emails straight away and kept my partner and myself at ease throughout a very difficult and stressful situation.

Avoid at all costs. If I could mark below 1 star I would. They conduct zero due diligence on sales resulting in sales falling through on completion dates. Ensure you insist on confirmation of funds for any purchase. This company do not insist on proof of purchase, there fore not the type of organisation you wish to deal with when selling your home

My Mum recently moved to a Bungalow marketed by Browns. From the first contact we had with Browns we received great support through the process of selling and buying a property.
Whilst all staff were extremely professional, I must particularly mention Claire who all through the buying process kept me informed of how things were progressing.
Whilst I was struggling to deal with the other Estate Agents selling my mums house who were appalling, Claire was always there to give me honest answers to the many questions I had regarding the purchase, I cannot thank her enough for her help, support and guidance.
I found the most important thing during the process of buying and selling a house is clear communication with Professionals you can trust and Browns Estate Agents at their Stockton office 100% delivered on this.

When complications arose during the purchase of my property (which was down to legalities) it was Claire Towery of Browns that was there to hold my hand and support me. She gave me regular updates and was kind and extremely patient . Claire shared all my frustrations and best of all shared my joy and happiness on final completion. Stockton branch we used were great. Very helpful, friendly and professional.

I am in the process of finding a new property and Brown's was the only agent I contacted for a viewing that asked where I was wanting to move to and what type of property I wanted. This is even though I have spoken to several other agents for viewings.

Brown's worked hard at selling my house in difficult times. The sale fell through first-time but they persisted and sold it second time. Took 4 months to complete from when it was first marketed. Sometimes I felt they were working harder for the buyer than they were for me. Sometimes they didn't tell me about viewings as my house was empty which i did not appreciate. However, overall they were friendly and helpful. And they sold the house!
