nothing was to much trouble
nothing was to much trouble, the staff answered every question that i was unsure of. Everyone was so friendly that it was as though i knew them personally, even though i had never met them.

A waste of time
I don't recommend this estate agent at all. We wanted to rent a cottage in Yarm, but got nowhere with them. The ironic thing is that the cottage is still advertised to let? As a landlord myself, I would not use this company to advertise my property.
Most inefficient-a total waste time!

Good Morning Anne. It is our understanding that your son applied to rent a property with us in Yarm and that you would be his guarantor. As he is not currently residing in the area and was travelling by train we accommodated a late afternoon viewing so that he could see the property. During the viewing process it was explained to your son what our referencing procedure was should he wish to apply for the property. He advised that he wanted to apply and both ourselves and the landlord accepted his application. We sent him the link to complete the required referencing details but unfortunately your son declined to provide us with the required information and withdrew his interest in the property via email received on 2nd November 2019. (I am writing to withdraw my interest in 6 HC., Thanks for your co-operation throughout. Regards, JRC.)
As your son withdrew his application we continued to market the property and are now in the process of referencing a new applicant, the property will be removed from the market once we have completed the required checks. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your feedback and to kindly request that you please clarify the situation with your son and amend your review accordingly.
Property Sale
Cannot praise highly enough the professional and friendly service my sister and I received from the staff at the Norton office. Every question or problem I encountered, and there were a few, were handled with utmost care and sympathy, we were selling our late Mums property and I was upset at times, but nothing was too much trouble. I would also like to take this opportunity say a big thank you to them. I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking of buying or selling a property to use Browns Estate Agents.

They helped preserve our sanity!!!
Moving house is a stressful time and estate agents can't "make" things happen but what Browns in Norton did was kept us informed and updated and, when they could, chased solicitors and provided a link between us and the vendors and, consequently, helped to preserve our sanity!! The staff were always friendly (and sympathetic) and never once made us feel we were being a nuisance. I have no hesitation in recommending them and they will be the ones we go to first when we come to sell our property.

I have used Browns for letting a…
I have used Browns for letting a property for ten years. They made this process very easy and were always on hand to organise anything that was required of a landlord e.g. building repairs etc. I have recently sold the property and the service I received was excellent and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great knowledge of local property market
When I first contacted them they quickly arranged to visit and do a valuation. The valuer was professional and friendly and gave us a realistic valuation. He had a vast amount of local knowledge of the property market in the area and we went along with the valuation he'd advised. We only had to contact the office a couple of times, but on each occasion they were very helpful. We accepted an offer of the asking price within 3 months of it going on the market with Browns.
