My order was supposed to be delivered…
My order was supposed to be delivered to me last week. The delivery company they hired. Wanted someone to carry each board out of his van with him and no one was there to do that. So he drove off. Now this is a delivery of just over 1 tonne. Why wouldn’t you have them deliver it with a crane as usual? It’s just stupid. The company now want to charge me 255 pounds for this experience. 60 for the non delivery that I paid and 195 pounds to restock it to cancel the order.
Incredibly incompetent they changed their story on why it wasn’t delivered 3 times and I’m clearly going to have to go through my credit card provider to do a charge back. Steer clear.

We would, however, like to clarify some important points regarding the delivery. Due to the size and weight of this order, manual assistance is required to assist offloading the goods from the delivery vehicle. This requirement is clearly stated on the product page before purchase, again during checkout, and within the dispatch communication so that suitable assistance can be arranged for delivery. Unfortunately, when the delivery was attempted, the required assistance to offload the boards was not available and the delivery could therefore not be completed.
We would also like to clarify that the £195.30 quoted is not a restocking fee. As the order had already been dispatched and delivery attempted, this is the return charge passed on to us by the courier for transporting the goods back.
We appreciate this is not the outcome you had hoped for, but we do make the unloading requirements clear at several stages of the ordering process to help customers prepare for deliveries of this size.

Atrocious. I wouldn't do business again.
Atrocious. Delivery did not arrive on expected day. When I queried this, I was told on the following day, that the driver had arrived, but recorded that the delivery was unsuccessful due to being "refused". Driver provided a photo of my property, taken from within cab of the vehicle. No attempt had been made to come to the door. My Ring doorbell proves that nobody came to the door. I did not refuse a delivery.
Delivery was rescheduled to the following day. I was sent an email pledging that the delivery was expected between 9am - 5pm on the day, and a tracking number was provided. All day, the tracking data revealed it was in Sheffield and did not move. I have now asked for a refund, which as yet has not been responded to. I would not recommend Builder Depot. They are a seller for other suppliers and their coordination of the deliveries is extremely poor.
I am tired of chasing these amateurs up on what should have been a simple order. I have had to wait in across two full days, with two kids on a summer holiday, for a delivery that didn't meterialise.

This item is a Direct From Supplier product, as stated on our website, meaning the order is dispatched and delivered directly by the supplier and their courier rather than from Builder Depot. However, you placed your order with us, and we fully appreciate that it is our responsibility to assist when things do not go as expected.
We have been in communication with the supplier regarding the failed delivery. I have now personally taken over the matter and will contact you privately regarding your request to cancel the order and receive a refund. We are also following this up directly with the supplier.
