Outstanding customer service from Louren at Tavio!
I am writing to formally recognize Louren for her exceptional support. In decades of conducting e-commerce, I have never encountered a customer service representative so dedicated to helping the customer. Even though the standard window to address my specific issue with Tavio was virtually closed, Louren went completely above and beyond her call of duty to find a solution. She turned what could have been a frustrating situation into an incredibly positive experience. Louren, congratulations on your outstanding work, and thank you for your stellar professionalism!

I previously reviewed buytavio and have tried to deal with this company. There doesn't seem to be any way to deal with this company. I did not buy their product on a subscription. My account was charged a second time, so I told them to cancel this subscription which I should not even have. I have checked again and they are saying the subscription is still active. So stay away from this company. Save yourself the money and aggravation.

The customer service at Tavio has been OUTSTANDING. Ivie is the special lady who has helped me incredibly. She is an absolute asset to this company.
I ordered castor oil from Tavio, only to find that the castor oil is not pure castor oil. Also, by purchasing this item, unbeknownst to me, I was signed up for auto refills, so was charged a second $114 without me realizing it. Ivie refunded me both charges, and was super polite, super understanding, and a real delight to communicate with.
When ordering from this company, make sure you know whether you are on auto refills or not.
If it wasn’t for Ivie, this company would receive 1*from me, but thanks to her, I’m giving it a 5*.

Terrible company...worst ever!! I asked for a refund for product i never received, then they had the audacity to charge me AGAIN for castor oil i never ordered!! I ordered in February and have never seen the order. Absolutely no customer service, I just get the same canned email saying "so sorry, your item is on the way". I don't want the items now, even if they came.

If you have a special price promotion that includes AUTOMATIC SHIPMENTS, you should put that in BIG PRINT.
THE 2 rather small size jars of Castor Oil that I got with the Castor Oil wrap are enough to last a long time. Before I was even done with the first jar I received a second shipment. I don't go through Castor Oil that fast! I have always bought Cold pressed Organic Castor Oil for my face and body. I've gone thru 32 oz jars, as well as 16 oz jars. I wouldn't order a 2 oz jar, but that's what I received from you. Please don't send me any more. Thank you for giving me a chance to tell you why I was so upset.

Just a heads up that somehow when I bought a Tavio castor oil pack I was signed up for autorenewal of castor oil. I did not see anything that said this and their castor oil is significantly more expensive than others. When I complained to the company all they will do is give me a discount. They won't allow me to return it for a full refund.
UPDATE: They have now said they would give me a full refund and i can keep what is sent.

I ordered for the packs, but now I don't even trust them as healthy for my body because of the rest of my experience. Tavio subscribed me to ordering more castor oil, which I did not approve. The castor oil sent with my original (only) purchase, has a scent and does not feel like castor oil. I won't use it because I don't think it is castor oil. They billed my card for more castor oil for a subscription, which I never agreed to. I tried to immediately to cancel the order but they said it was already sent, and offered a discount. It took multiple days for them to respond and they are not refunding my money as requested. I again stated I do not want the product and to please refund my money. They offered more of a discount (20%) which I DO NOT WANT. I again sent my request for a refund. Today I received the oil. I have not opened it. Because I want to send it back to them at their expense. The amount of oil, 4-5 ounces, IS LITERALLY NOT WORTH WHAT THEY BILLED. $78 FOR 4 ONUCES. nope. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMING, FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

Not certified organic. 2 month ship time. Castor oil is clear and has perfume in it…almost like baby oil. They will let you return the item but you have to pay to ship it overseas. I was told it would save me more money to just get a 30% refund instead of paying to ship it back. Not made in the US. The story online…I don’t buy it. This company is misleading consumers with its products and providing false claims about refunds. The customer service is responsive, however I question whether it’s AI honestly. I tried to cancel numerous times and then I’d still get an auto ship email which I never signed up for. They also stored my credit card even after I “cancelled” with them.
I will never buy anything from this company and caution you also. By the way, they will respond very cordially to each of these reviews…very innocent to try to gain your trust.

Update: The company did reach out to me once this review was posted. They did refund the charges. I am just sorry that it had to go this far before they were willing to do something. One would think that 4 emails would have been enough. However, the subscription is now cancelled and the money refunded.
Previous review: The castor oil is white and smells like baby oil. As far as I'm concerned, it's not real castor oil. I have also tried to contact customer service multiple times to cancel any future orders and have received zero response. This company is fraudulent. Do not buy from them!!
