Cameras By Max Reviews

I spent a long time deciding on my first film camera, and I’m so pleased I purchased from Cameras By Max.

The website is brilliant. Clear, easy to navigate. I particularly liked the ~ hand picked accessories section, which allowed me to easily see which filters would fit my new camera.

I went for a Pentax MV with UV filter. I was so impressed with the quality of the delivery. The camera was so well wrapped and packaged, it’s clear Max & team really care about their products. It felt like Christmas unpacking a new toy! Really nice touch to include a roll of film, and stickers.

Considering the age of the camera, it’s in fantastic condition. It’s clear quality control is taken seriously. I know I can buy from here again, knowing I’ll be paying for a high quality product.

I also love the LGBT+ skins on the Olympus cameras, and would love to see these back in stock in the future! I would be SNAPPING up the bisexual-flag skinned trip.

I hope this business continues to grow and thrive!

Outstanding First Experience!
As a first-time customer, I couldn’t be more impressed with the service from Camerasbymax. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. They provided clear, detailed diagnostics that helped me understand exactly what was going on with my camera, which really put my mind at ease.

Not only did they resolve the issue, but they also went the extra mile with additional servicing to make sure my camera was in tip-top condition. The turnaround time was super speedy, and the communication throughout was excellent.

Max was lovely—friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. On top of all that, the service offered incredible value for money.

I would highly recommend Camerasbymax to anyone, and I’ll definitely be returning again and again. A truly top-notch experience!

Thank you Max for the great service! I absolutely love the strap and camera bag I purchased! Max was very helpful, great communication and it shows they have a passion for what they are doing! Would definitely recommend!

I submitted a query about getting an old camera repaired and Max replied very fast. I sent the camera off and quickly received a quote from Max which I went ahead with. The repair was completed within a week and posted back to me. I’m very happy with the service I received! Thank you Max :)

Ordered a snazzy camera neck strap.

The service was great, I placed an order early in the morning and it was sent the same day, ordered a red NIKON strap for my husband's camera turned up a couple of days later which was excellent. If we need anything else we will definitely use this place again, and would highly recommend to everyone

I was very lucky to catch the owner on chat, could ask a direct question about an item and he could add it to the website. Then I bought it. A great service; it’s exactly what I wanted.

Quick delivery and good quality item

Camera came quickly and was even better condition than expected. A++ would definitely buy from here again.

Ordered a replacement camera for my son, who has been using my old Minolta x700 which is on it's last legs! The new camera is a Pentax ME Super and is in great condition. It was very thoughtfully wrapped and arrived quickly.

Bought a Yashica Samurai and accessories, items came in much better quality than expected. Max was also really helpful when I reached out regarding an issue I was facing with the film advancing mechanism, and through their prompt replies, helped me to troubleshoot the problem.

Max was brilliant and the product is excellent. I will definitely us Max again.

Great packaging, fast delivery and item is quality!
Happy?

Excellent service in every way!

I’m really glad I found Max. The camera I bought was just like described on the website. The delivery was very quick too. I can’t wait to try the camera!

All my questions were answered before I chose which camera to purchase. Max has lots of comprehensive guides on their website which made it very easy to load up my first film and start shooting. The camera is beautiful (they had done leathering on the one I chose) and the condition was exactly as expected. Quick at responses and very informative.

My purchase was only a vintage Pentax manual, but to my surprise it was brand new and original.
