Very good purchasing and PX experience with Shazad at the Bury branch. Car looks to be in good order so hopefully no issues emerge

I brought a mini countryman for my daughter from them and on the drive home discovered the drivers heated seat did not work so contacted them straight away. I took it for a check over at mini and also needed new front brake pads and discs.
Car was described as mint when being sold to me.
I have wasted 6 months of my life chasing them to get it sorted despite initially agreeing to resolve it - but as i live in the West Midlands just ended up with failed promises and nothing has ever materialsied.
I am now pursuing a county court judgement to get them to pay for this.
You would be better off paying a little more money and buying your next car from a different dealer - shocking !! you have been warned don't buy a car from Cartime Bury.

I would strongly advise against using this company or purchasing their extended warranty.

I paid nearly £2,000 for repairs, but when I collected the vehicle, there was a severe grinding noise immediately apparent. After a week of chasing them by email, the service centre acknowledged the fault had been caused during the initial repair work.

My car has now been with them for over five weeks. After waiting weeks for the replacement component to arrive, I was informed that the incorrect part had been ordered.

Additionally, the courtesy vehicle provided to me had not been taxed since May and was clamped while parked, leaving me stranded and unable to attend an important commitment.

Communication throughout has been exceptionally poor, with emails routinely ignored and significant delays at every stage. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services.

Terrible customer service the people in the service department are shocking, arrogant smarmy couldn’t care less about you or your vehicle which you paid £20000 for, had the car 3 weeks needed a service and air con was stinking only fixed it under duress, then a few weeks later ev stopped working was told 3 weeks to get a battery!! Then when they eventually booked it in it took 2 days to fit a battery!!! I think the mechanics got there degrees from a cereal packet clearly don’t know what they are doing I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere you really can’t trust these people. Please be aware I would hate for someone to receive the same treatment it’s just criminal!!,

Phoned up at 15.36 today to book an MOT at Cartime in Bury, I wanted a service too. Automated voice took my details and said someone will phone you back by 19.30. As you can guess nobody phoned back 🙄

Shocking service.
Purchased a car from CarTime in April 2026.
After having the collection date moved twice due to the car not being ready, when I did eventually go to collect the car I was left waiting for 7hrs in the showroom as the car was still not ready.
The car was not as described and the additional prep work was not fully completed.
To make the situation even worse, when I asked for evidence of the service that had been completed prior to the sale, I was then informed only an oil and filter changed was completed.
I am now significantly out of pocket as my warranty is invalid due to the car not being regularly serviced.
General customer service is appalling and you constantly have to chase for answers.
Avoid this company at all costs.
Buy cheap… buy twice

Very pleasant experience, everyone is very friendly. Car I chose was to my expectations, there was a visible scratch on one door which they agreed to reduce the price as I’m not local to wait for a repair.

Honestly where do I start. My experience was so good and amazing I don’t even know where to actually begin honestly. Especially buying your first car for the first time can be so confusing, challenging and a lot to take in especially when you’re not fully sure or familiar with cars yet or the car world. This was my first time buying a car my first experience and I’m over the moon with my experience. Bradley has been superb and so brilliant. What a lovely person and colleague you have honestly. So professional and good vibes from the moment I first spoke to him and then met him today. I couldn’t have had a better experience or person to help me with my car today. Speaking to him has been so helpful and easy going. I really appreciate him and then his manager saying it’s ok basically waiting for me to come from work to collect my car with my mum and aunty. As I couldn’t wait for next week for my car to be delivered. Bradley helped me with my paperwork explained all the preparation and everything well over the phone as even more so in person. My mum who was wanting reassurance and had her own questions/concerns as mums do for a final check was really relived and happy after speaking to him, that alone speaks for itself. He also made sure I was up-to date with what’s next and what to expect etc as we went along. I’m so satisfied and happy with everything especially the personalised video and then the test drive. I feel so happy and relieved I can’t express how happy and shocked I am in a good way of course. I’m absolutely thrilled! What an amazing individual you have working here! :) keep up the good work. Again thank you ever so much for everything and especially today. Making my first experience Superb and wonderful. I will remember this day for the rest of my life and I’m sure my mum and loved ones will too.
