Extremely disappointing customer service from Chadwell
I have had ongoing problems with an iPhone purchased through Chadwell which has repeatedly lost signal, dropped calls, lost service and caused problems while I have been working.
This is a business phone, so having a reliable service is essential. The problems have affected my ability to contact customers and have already had an impact on my work.
I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to get this resolved and have contacted Chadwell and Plan.com on numerous occasions. Despite explaining the problems clearly and providing details of what has been happening, I have still not received a satisfactory resolution.
Chadwell offered me an upgrade, but this would have meant entering into another lengthy contract and paying considerably more. Given the problems I have experienced with the existing service and handset, I did not feel that was a reasonable solution.
What is particularly disappointing is that I emailed Chadwell again regarding the ongoing situation and I am still waiting for a response. After everything I have already been through, I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect my complaint to at least be acknowledged and properly addressed.
The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. I would have expected much better customer service and support from Chadwell.

Unfortunately for a telecom company…
Unfortunately for a telecom company that find hard to communicate with customers.
They don't call back when say they will. they try but can never resolve issues.
They send emails on the last 5 minutes of their working day. and Plan that they sell is about the same.

Firstly, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate all feedback, as the positives show what we are doing correctly, and the negatives teach us how to improve.
Whilst less-than-perfect reviews is not something we aim for, they do happen from time to time & give us the opportunity to investigate why customers have been unhappy with our service & put in remedies to address them - where needed.
Having reviewed all communications between yourself and our team over the past couple of years that you have been a customer, we have concluded that we have gone above and beyond what would be deemed good customer service to address your issues - namely network coverage, which is beyond our control - none the resolutions we offered seemed to be satisfactory to you to conclude this.
Furthermore there are several instances of voice recorded conversations where inappropriate language has been used towards our female staff from yourself, which as you are aware caused great distress to them. None of which has been mentioned in your review.
In addition to this - to draw a line under the matter - Chadwell Telecom will be paying your early termination fees to allow you to move your service to another provider - free of cost to yourself contrary to your contract T’s & C's - again not mentioned in your review.
We wish to thank you for your review - but felt prudent to add some clarity from our side

I would not recommend Chadwell based on…
I would not recommend Chadwell based on my experience.
I have been dealing with a faulty phone and ongoing service issues for months. My phone is essential for my job, yet I have repeatedly been left without a reliable signal, missed business opportunities and lost income because clients were unable to contact me.
What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability. I have spent weeks being passed between Chadwell, the network provider and the manufacturer, with no one taking ownership of resolving the problem. As a customer, it shouldn’t be my job to chase multiple companies for a solution.
The only option I was offered was to take out a new contract with a new handset, meaning I would have to commit to paying even more despite already receiving a faulty device and poor service. That is simply not an acceptable resolution.
The whole experience has been incredibly stressful and time-consuming. If you rely on your phone for work, I would urge you to think carefully before choosing Chadwell. When things go wrong, the level of customer support has fallen well below what I expected.

Pretty poor experience with Chadwell
Pretty poor experience with Chadwell. I signed up for a couple of phone lines for our Ltd company, and while the 36 month contract was a long one, I was made various promises regarding price reductions and new handsets during the 18 month review period.
While I did get an email confirmation of these promises, its my own fault for not making sure those had also landed in the contract itself.
When I came to the 18 month review, the terms were significantly poorer than I had been led to believe, and "it's industry standard" was the explanation provided.
Overall I am not able to shake the feeling that I was somewhat mis-sold.

Fabulous service from Tess & Kirsty. Everything was explained well & it all went smoothly, 100% stress free. I’ve gone from stressing over not having any signal or data from my previous provider to having it wherever I go with no issues. Great service from start to finish and it was a nice gesture to receive a courtesy call a few weeks after to make sure everything was going well. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you lovely ladies 😊😊😊

Very helpful and thorough. He explained everything clearly and simply, which made it much easier to understand. Processing large amounts of information and technical jargon can be especially challenging for individuals with ASD, and although the gentleman I spoke to wasn't aware of this, he communicated in a way that was easy to follow. I really appreciated his patience and clear explanations.
