All was great except that I had to inquire why my order was not being shipped. When having large delays by suppliers, it would be useful to either post that online, or send a heads up email to all people that made orders which will be delayed.

Slow delivery time
Slow delivery time. No communication between purchaser and seller. The temperature gauge actually broke during installation. I drove to Napoleon in Barrie and purchased a replacement for $11.00 cheaper than your price.

Hi Colin, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. The temperature gauge you ordered was not in stock at the time of purchase on August 4 (and marked as a "non-stock item" on our site), which is why it shipped on August 21, as soon as our shipment from Napoleon arrived.
Regarding pricing, our retail price is the same as Napoleon Home Comfort's in Barrie — the difference you noted was the shipping charge, which doesn’t apply to in-store pickups. We weren’t made aware that your gauge broke during installation, otherwise we would have been happy to discuss options with you.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and we’ll continue working to improve communication around non-stock items so future customers know exactly what to expect.

Very personable and attentive to our fireplaces. He took his time explaining the ins and outs of our units. One unit had glass beads which he removed and rubbed them together and put them back. Now our flame has a whimsical bluish colour. Very nice. I have been a customer of Chadwick and Hacks since 2013.
Very satisfied with all my experiences.

I purchased big green egg touch up…
I purchased big green egg touch up paint. When I applied it to the stove cap it was not even close in a match. I emailed Chadwicks and Sarah got right back to me and sent a message to BGE. Apparently the paint was off and they are making a new batch and one will hopefully be shipped to me. Thansk to Sarah for her attention to this problem.
