I have had quite a few dealings with Charles White over the years and have always found the team to be professional, polite and understanding. Any issues raised by me have always been speedily dealt with. I would pariculary like to praise Paul Sanders who is generally my first port of call. He is friendly, professional and supportive. He goes that extra mile in order to ensure that you are happy. Would happily recommend.

Called to confirm and pay my service charges for a property I own and is managed by CW. Rachael Higginson in the Belfast office was very helpful, emailed me a link immediately and the whole process was very easy. All done within 10 mins.

Contacted Charles white as realised that they had charged us £100 in late fees for not setting up a direct debit within 2 weeks as they have now went from quarterly to yearly(just realised this recently). I’m a working mum and don’t have time to check their app every other day🙄We have been paying factors for years and always made a payment. ALTHOUGH we live in a house and all “issues” that are causing these payments are around the flats and maintenance of them. The houses gain absolutely nothing from paying these fees….but we still paid them regardless. After not noticing things had changed we had a court action letter sent through our door and that’s how we knew something has changed. No phone call or nothing! Contacted Charles white as soon as we could but they had already added on £100 in late fees(within 2weeks) Called them and the woman was absolutely shocking!! Did not care and just wanted off the phone. Only way to resolve is Citizens Advice and local MSP as they are not willing to listen or help, they just want the money for people!!

Me Paul Sanders was very helpful in having the leak in my apartment detected and the subsequent necessary repairs attended to.
He then assisted with the ensuing insurance claim.
The experience lasted from August 2023 until May 2024.

We have been working, for 1 year now with Robyn Ray, our designated point of contact at Charles White since they took over management of our development - always attentive makes every effort to resolve our queries promptly and efficiently.

Charles White has to be without doubt the worst property factor in Edinburgh. The management team are woefully inept and quite frankly rude.
They have zero interest in working with property owners to manage the development. It's all about the money......
Do not use Charles White! Find another factoring agent!

The transition from one factor to Charles White Ltd was smooth and particularly delighted that all costs for the development are covered for a full year in the monthly charges, so we are paying the same amount each month. Maria Beattie, our appointed development manager, has been terrific to deal with and has been contactable throughout the initial teething troubles, not that there has been that many troubling issues.
