I had a wonderful experience working with Dean. He handled everything professionally and efficiently, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. From the very beginning, he was attentive and focused on helping me with my request. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. They are running a textbook "bait and switch" scam. Their entire playbook relies on luring you in with a cheap fare, taking your payment, and then holding your ticket hostage to extort more money from you.

When I booked my flight, nowhere did it state that the ticket was a "promotional fare" that didn't include luggage. After they took my money, my e-ticket was delayed for over 24 hours. When they finally called me, they completely dismissed me, telling me to "read the policy on the website," and tried to pressure me into buying a much more expensive ticket just to get luggage.

When I refused the upsell and said I didn't need luggage, the extortion escalated as they claimed my ticket "could not be confirmed" or was "waitlisted" because it was a promotional fare. They deliberately kept my ticket "in the queue" to keep me guessing, preying on the stress of travel to try and milk me for more money.

This behavior is a massive red flag for incredibly poor service and borderline scam-like practices. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. I have already raised a transaction dispute with my bank for fraud.

Ultimately, because I refused to give in to their upselling tactics, they refunded my money. If you find yourself in this situation and want a full refund, simply refuse all of their upsells. They will eventually give up, call you back, and process the refund.

When processing my refund, they claimed my transaction "failed the 3D Secure Gateway" and wasn't accepted, which is a lie because the money was clearly debited from my account. Interestingly, the representative who called me never mentioned anything about a payment issue; they only told me they couldn't secure the ticket because of the "promotional fare." They are clearly just making up excuses to cover their tracks

All fares displayed on our platform are sourced from third-party suppliers and airline systems, and certain promotional or discounted fares are subject to limited availability, specific fare rules, and confirmation from the airline at the time of ticket issuance.

As per our booking process, reservations are not considered confirmed until tickets are issued. In some cases, particularly with highly discounted or promotional fares, there may be a delay or inability to confirm the seat due to inventory changes beyond our control. This may also result in alternative options or revised fares being offered, which are always subject to customer approval.

With regard to baggage inclusion, fare conditions—including baggage allowance—are governed by the airline and are typically outlined during the booking process and in the fare rules. We regret if this was not clearly understood and acknowledge that clearer communication could have improved your experience.

Concerning the payment, while the transaction may appear debited initially, it can still fail or remain unconfirmed at the payment gateway level due to authentication or authorization checks such as 3D Secure. In such cases, funds are either not captured or are automatically reversed. We apologies for any confusion caused by this explanation.

We also note that, as you confirmed, a full refund was processed. This reflects our intent to resolve the matter appropriately when a booking cannot be fulfilled.

We sincerely regret the dissatisfaction caused and appreciate your feedback, which will be used to improve our service and communication standards.

100% bait-and-switch company will take your money, then call you and tell you the seats are unavailable. Still, they can upgrade you for REDICULOUSLY higher amounts, and if you pay that, it's a rinse-and-repeat cycle. It took me a total of 4 hours calling them over 3 days, demanding to speak to managers, only to be told they won't release my refund for 6 days. I finally spoke to "dean," clearly an anglicized name, who assisted slightly. Finally, tickets were received and confirmed with retrospective airlines, but my group had to be split up on 2 separate red-eye flights.
EDIT TO ADD: cheapflyshop reqested I delete this review and when i refused they changed details on my booking such as my gender and my email address so I didn't recieve gatechange information and nearly missed my flight. i have reqested 30% refund and will update as this progresses through the right channels.

Attempted a change in flights given the…

Attempted a change in flights given the recent Gulf
War to Sri Lanka. Our initial booking was done before the Gulf War . Following this event we decided to wait at least until next year until hopefully the situation stabilized. Also that we are both eighty years old and did not want to deal with disruptions and change of flight plans However the change of dates meant we were going to be charged the equivalent initial cost initially paid. We We were not in a position to  pay  an additional charge equivalent to the cost  of the original fares (we are both pensioners of eighty years old ) and are not that financial to pay the extra cost. (which appears excessive).  And given that the circumstances for wanting the change are beyond our control  given the Gulf War.
We understand that currently Paul Burke and the Customer Support Service are attempting to assist us given our particular ciurcumstances. My wife and I are therefore hopefully awaiting a more positive outcome.
Following the eforts of Paul Blake a more amenable outcome was indeed reached. Although the tickets were non-refundable a partial reimbursement was provided by Paul along with a coupe of future travel vouchers. As such it was the best outcome under the circumstances. Again thanking Paul Blake and his team.
