Can’t rate these guys enough, we order a take away from here at least once a month. Never had any problems and food always turns up and warm and tastes amazing!!!

We are regular chicken george hitchin customers and are usually really happy with the food. However we ordered the 10 piece family pack and it came with one small box of chips which was just enough for two people. Had to explain to staff that this is not sufficient to advertise as a family bundle and she was lovely and gave us another box of chips but I have to be honest they shouldn't advertise this as a family bundle without providing enough chips for 4 people. Another example of trying to save money over reputation of the buisness which is such a shame

The setting was pleasant enough and chicken wings had tasty sauces to choose from and enjoyed them. Also ordered ribs and to be honest they were not great at all and very poor taste and quality. Also fries portion was rather stingy.

The whole world fell out my backside after eating the dry chicken from a takeaway at the bedford branch. First and last time I shall eat their food.

Vegan chicken burgers was very poor in comparison to others I've had. Extremely dry burger. The sauce was as runny as water and all over the outside of the bun. Chips were dry and tasteless

Great tasty crispy chicken will be back for more :)

A group of six went, two had burgers and both were sick from them.

The food is amazing when they have any! My sons drove to the Hitchen branch as a Father's Day treat for me (Luton is now closed) No burgers.....no chicken strips....

Chicken George . What can you really say. Excellent Chicken , Wings , Burgers pretty much everything they do is good.

Waited almost 3 hours for food to be delivered via gogetters. When it finally did turn up it was vile. Sweaty, chewy chicken, soggy chewy chips, slaw laced with so much mayonnaise I almost gagged on the first forkful.

Such a shame. I frequented the OG chicken george in Luton for a decade+ and the food was always spot on. Really taken a nose dive in food quality since opening the Bedford branch.

Seems like quality over quantity has gone out the window.... Sad to see such a good food place go to the pits.

We ordered a meal for 4 of us Saturday at 6.30pm through go getters....once ordered and paid we were told delivery would be 2 hours 30mins which is ridiculous..... u then have no option to cancel ur meal as there is no telephone number no website absolutely no contact what so ever.....so then we tracked the progress of order to then see that our order was then estimated to be delivered 21.38hrs.. . over 3 hours we waited for food it's absolutely disgusting... definitely will not order to be delivered again ....terrible service 😤😤😤😤

No website, no phone number, forgot to put my wings in the bag. Poor service & long wait time. The BBQ ribs thou, wow.
Bring back the Luton branch, this review is for Bedford.

Came to Chicken George with a very large order and it was fulfilled perfectly. Very helpful service from two young ladies called Fumi and Shania. They even helped me load my van with the bags.

First visit to Bedford tonight. - Rosie was welcoming & helpful with the menu choices - I followed her advice & was very pleased I did! A great balance of attentive service and anticipation of needs re cleanliness etc. 5 ⭐️ service!

Chicken George is renowned for being one of the best chicken places. However, we went to the Hitchin one this week and got a take out. Sadly, on this occasion, it was not up to the high standard it is known for. The chicken was soggy, not crispy. The burger had a soggy bun. A real shame as this is the first time we have had cause to complain.
