They lost my shipment and will not respond, other than through their third party "customer service" rep, who just stonewalls.

Unit broke after using a few months. The charger they give you does not fully charge the unit and it is low quality.

I'd rather not give any stars, but that isn't an option. I haven't done any business with this company, but I received an email on August 20 thanking me for my order, dated August 21; it even included an order number. I was surprised to get the email, since I never placed an order with them. I called my credit card company to make sure there wasn't a charge pending, and was told it was probably a phishing attempt.

Piece of crap. Cools a square foot of that. Pain in the … to use. Tried to return it … nothing. Not a sound, second time offered 50% off, again nothing.

Not worth the money

Saying that this will cool a ROOM is a massive overstatement. Now for like camping or just using it in a room you need to spend just a bit of time in it works fine. Definitely not worth $118 I spent on it.

Do not buy this device! First, it's complicated to use--you have to charge it up, then add water, then make sure the filter has been placed in the freezer, etc. But turning it on and off is practically impossible. Do not buy this device! I'm sending it back.

This is a con game. Nothing new. Just a simple evaporator. You can get the same effect from a fan and a wet dish rag, which might even work better.

I placed the order, and something told me take a pic of the page and save it! Good thing I did, because when I went to my bank page, I find I was charged $112.00 instead of the $89 that was the charge listed on the website page before I entered the card to pay! No Other charges were listed on the website. So, I am contacting the FCC online, because this company has mistreating buyer for years! I am going try emailing this placed, and IF my order is NOT canceled asap, MY BANK GIVE ME MY MONEY BANK! Read all the numerous posts online. These folks need to be stopped!
I have also sent an email to company as that was the only way to contact, which the way to contact them today!

I'm going to "ditto" all of your comments. I did read some reviews that said this was a great product however it really is not. Thankfully I bought it through PayPal. The seller offered to refund half of the cost but even at half price I was throwing my money away. I offered many times to return the product which, by the way, is no better than a cheap plastic fan you could buy at a Dollar store, but they were adamant that they test these products before they leave the factory and that it was tested and it worked great. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT>

This is the biggest piece of crap I ever bought. I can blow out of my mouth colder air. They gave me a screaming deal so I bought two of the dumb things. They're not worth a buck a piece. Worst investment I ever made. It's truly a scam!

If you are hot and miserable, the little window units are the best that we suffered until we bought one and put it on my bedroom window. Now we're extremely comfortable and happy. We'd paid a $119 for it. I bought six units with the intention of giving them to people that I know that did not have air-conditioning. I hooked one up and followed the directions, soaked the little filter in water and stuck in the freezer for an hour filled the water level up to max put a few ice cubes in it and it blew real cold for like the first four minutes Then it shut off on its own and when I try to start back up, it would only stay on for a minute.
I called the company & complained about the products and she said well there’s $15 and something in shipping and handling I said “ Are telling me I have to pay to mail this junk back to you?” Originally it charged to my credit card and I disputed it with the credit card and somehow they got my bank card information. I don’t know how and they charged my bank after the credit card had disputed it so when I called them and I told him I want my money back and I’m gonna put it on Line about what a rip off this is I got all my money back but the shipping and handling and I got to keep the little paperweights because that’s what they are. They’re worthless.

I purchased 2, one still in box, the one I'm using will cool but even at its lowest setting I'm only able to get 2 hours of run time, and recharging takes longer than that, the plug with a wall outlet was not with the packaging and I may be using a incorrect wall plug?

Ive emailed them 3xs no response. This is just a plastic box that blows a mist of water.
The whole advertisement is false. The company should be charged for fraud.
Don't buy. Contacting my credit card company about this scam.

I bought a chill well several years ago and was deeply disappointed. It just basically blew the air back at me and was marginally cooled. Even with ice cubes in it as it suggested. 2 years later I kept seeing ads about how wonderful it was and I thought well gosh maybe they have improved the product with this many advertisements in such priority places so I bought another one for $89 and it literally was exactly the same experience all over again. Customer service was almost non-existent and completely disinterested in refunding the money. They offered me a percentage of the money back on my card, but even that was complicated and I didn't want any further Financial vulnerabilities with this company. So I tossed them because in good conscience I could not ask someone to pay me money for these . There was nothing else to do. Please don't make the mistake of thinking that this chill well does what it says it will do. It just simply does not.

The fan was hopeless for cooling a room. I feel like a complete moron. I bought 2. I little secret though... if you used a debit or credit card from your bank you can inform them of service not rendered. Basically the company refuses to honor their return policy and in my case B of America was able to reverse the transaction. It will probably take a few weeks but these fools never take the call from the bank and they will usually rule in your favor.

Used it one time. Now it won’t turn on. Epic fail.
