Ordering was easy, I chose these towels as I thought the absorbency would be exceptional and as one of the most expensive range I thought I could trust Christy’s reputation and my previous experience which had been excellent.
WRONG
When delivered (I ordered 2 Bath sheets and 4 hand towels in two different colours) one set were polythene wrapped and had hanging loops the other colour were just loose - no hanging loops. I should have known then!!
I’ve waited nearly two months though to review the towels themselves.
They have now been washed several times and the absorbency is dreadful. I do not use any fabric conditioner or indeed any additives just Fairy non bio. When using to dry my face I pat dry but still the towel remains wet on the surface.
I would not recommend these towels at all.
Too late for me to return as I cut the Christy labels off.
So disappointed.

Anna was absolutely fantastic! I went in for some bed linen and came away with beautiful bedding, a throw and even towels that I hadn’t planned on buying! 😂

She was so friendly and really knew the products, especially the towels. She gave me great advice without ever making me feel pressured into buying anything.

Such lovely customer service and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Anna is a real credit to the store and I’ll definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

purchased a selection of towels and was very happy with product so ordered more again no problems with delivery. however one face cloth has started to split across the decorative band that runs through it. I tried to contact them about this issue, no reply so one week later I contacted them again still no reply, I am not going to get stressed about an inexpensive face cloth but I am annoyed that the common theme with their customer service is to simply ignore any problems hoping they will go away, well this customer will be going away never to return.

I purchased a towel and when I received it on inspection there was a couple of loose threads. I emailed Christy customer service informing them. They acknowledged this is not acceptable and they have arranged a replacement immediately, even telling me I didn’t need to return the towel so as not to inconvenience me.
This is good customer service and I’m glad I purchased directly from them.

Delivery proved to be a just too difficult for Christy to arrange. I got in touch to say there had been no tracking movement in 4 days after DPD were "expecting the order".
It transpires several orders were sitting in the warehouse and not questioned by staff. I wonder how long it would have lay there if I had not questioned it.
It got worse, next day I was given a 1 hour slot (2pm to 3pm) for delivery, great! No show "due to unforeseen circumstances".
Rearranged, I had enough!
Cancelled order and, to be fair, refund through in a few days.
I totally lost confidence in both Christy and DPD, cancelled the order
Only reason i give 2 stars is that I got replies to my emails.

This was the company that came to mind when in the market for quality towels. I got a very good deal on the towels also, (which made me more inclined to shop through the Christy site).

The towels feel soft and more premium. It remains to be seen if it stays this way. But after their first wash they’ve remained at a good softness.

The delivery was quickly received. And emails after gave me information on how to best care for my towels, information I assume accesible via their website.

Wish I could give 0 stars here.

I recently ordered towels from this company. How I wish I hadn't! The towels are supposed to be 675 gsm.... thick and luxurious. What can I say. What has turned up is thin and no where near luxurious. They are not worth £50, let alone the £154 I paid! If I had wanted cheap, thin towels I would have gone to a market for them!

So, the day they arrive, I email the company saying they are far from the quality I was expecting. The colour is lovely, but the quality certainly isn't. A week later I still haven't had a reply. So my husband decides to phone. He gets no where. Constantly told to email, and he keeps saying we have but haven't had a reply. Still he is told he will have to email, and also send a photo of the towels. They don't seen to want us to return the towels and have a refund.

I'm now thinking of contacting my local Trading Standards office as there is no way these towels are 675 gsm as they say, 300 gsm at the most.

Please read this review and DON'T BUY from Christy('s) towels. The products are shocking, and so is their customer service. Another quality English company which has been sold to a cheap tat maker.

I am delighted with my towels, as I knew I would be, having purchased Christy towels for over 25 years! The quality is wonderful. The order and delivery process is simple and straightforward and the communication is excellent. Thank you Christy!

I would like to warn other genuine customers that this company is not the one it used to be historically.
Christy used to be a quality company with excellent Customer Services.
The goods and the service was remarkable
Therefore, I ordered a batch of towels from the company in recent months
After years of not having shopped with them
To my dismay, I found that the towels were non absorbent despite the description being quick drying towels.
I had particularly been looking forward to purchasing this company’s goods for sometime and a sale offered me the opportunity
I began proceedings via Email to contact the company who I will have to point out always remained superficially polite.
Many weeks passed and I received no sign of a refund
Only emails from the company to obstruct this from happening
I was given much stress through questioning of my judgement over the towels Non absorbency and given various tasks to do to test the towels and I was accused on one stage of using fabric softener on the towels which they tell me reduce their absorb significantly even though there was no warning attached to the towels to warn the Customer against this
I was happily confident I had never touched fabric softener as I cannot use it due to hyper sensitive skin and it has never been in my washer
I informed the company of this fact and yet I was accused again of having used fabric softener on the towels
I became firmly but politely insistent that the Towels were refunded and eventually I was given a label to send the towels back
Once again, I heard nothing from the company until I contacted them
They said that their tests had to be performed on the towels before they could give me any news!!
I found this highly irregular , patronising and frustrating
Nevertheless, I gave them time and then I was informed that the towels were tested by a team who had apparently discovered fabric softener on them…
I knew immediately this was another fob off and a downright lie
They had the audacity to then say they would either return the towels to me or they could offer a “goodwill” refund !!!
I therefore sent a strong but polite message to the company informing them I wanted no further contact from them except for a refund because of the stress , upset and unnecessary saga they had created for me
An absolute disgrace, so please beware

Within 24 hour delivery on two different orders - excellent! Products look to be good quality.
They also give a good discount for blue light card holders.
I would have given it 5 stars if I hadn’t needed to try to contact them. There appeared to be a missing item in my order, it wasn’t actually missing but arrived in a different package later in the day. The Christy email address bounced back and the phone number didn’t answer although I was first in the queue. The chat was pretty useless on a mobile phone. I got hold of someone on the phone eventually who explained the parcel would arrive later. I would definitely use again as the delivery was so prompt and free.

Purchased towels on-line in a Christy sale. I don't think I have ever bought such luxurious towels in all my life! I looked at the instructions carefully and read that the towels must be washed first before use. Now long (very long!) in the tooth & being fully house-trained, that is what I did! Absolutely thrilled with the towels. The best I have ever had. I have now disgarded my collection of deadbeat supermarket towels. Christy towels are so fluffy & beautiful and beat the others hands-down for quality!
The staff on-line and in particular Emily and Samar, have been a joy to deal with.

Please be aware ... you CANNOT return items such as pillows, duvets, mattress toppers. I thought I had read Christy's returns policy but I fell foul of this exclusion. I now have an unused Christy's pillow taking up space as I cannot return it. I have difficulty finding suitable pillows, so I tried the Christy X pillow. I placed in inside 2 pillow cases and tried it for about half an hour. It was not comfortable for me, but I am unable to return it. I will not buy another pillow online - how am I supposed to assess the suitability of a pillow if I cannot try it out? So I am stuck with a brand new pillow that I cannot use. Please be careful when buying these products.

Well my mum gave us a few bath towels when we got married in 1987 . 4 kids later all grown up still using them . One little bit frayed on one edge probably out of warranty. Best we have ever had although may not be so good now .

As a new customer, I was given 10% off my first order. I ordered just one set of bedding, sheets & pillow cases, to check I was happy with them before ordering another for completeness. We were charged £126. Within 48hrs of the sheets arriving I received an email advising of 60% off various items, including the sheets I had just bought, for International Women's Day.

This offer ended on the 10th March. On the 11th March another offer popped up, this time for 50% in celebration of World Sleep Day. This offer ended on March 15th. Today, March 21st, yet another offer has popped up: This time a "Flash Sale" with 20% off.

Fortunately my husband did manage to place an order with 60% off, so at least we managed to benefit from one promotion, paying just £75.60, but, had we waited a couple of days, we would not now be out of pocket to the tune of £50.40.

Interestingly, while the first set was fine. Really good quality and lovely to sleep in. The second, sale set, was not. Both the sheets and one set of pillow cases were not "set square", i.e. the edges didn't match up properly when folded, and the pillow cases were skewed. We only noticed this as we ironed them after the advised pre-use wash, so assumed we couldn't return them.

We feel both disappointed and cheated.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The team in-store were incredibly patient and helpful while I chose my carpet, offering a great range of options at different price points without any pressure.
John, who fitted the carpet, was professional, friendly, and did an absolutely perfect job — I couldn’t fault it. He explained everything clearly and left the place spotless.
Communication throughout was excellent with regular updates on lead times and fitting dates. I’m so glad I chose them and would highly recommend!

What has happened to Christy bedding Washed the Japanese pagoda 3 times dye is still coming off

Ordered a replacement bath sheet from the Cirrus range, after ordering our last bundle in 2024. The quality of the towels is appalling now. So thin with loose threads and poor stitching. Even the tags on the towel are cheaply made in comparison. I am so disappointed as I needed to replace a bath sheet as one of our towels was deliberately destroyed by a contractor. If you're expecting previous quality, don't bother

Received a towel with bleached stains on it. Complained and was told "our process could not do this", so was told they would not replace it. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend buying from here.

Purchased some Christy Renaissance towels in parchment approximately 2-3 months ago via Debenhams.
Although the towels are of a reasonable quality I am sorry to say that they have faded considerably after only 2 washes and are now a horrible pinkish cream colour! I would not purchase towels again from Christy. There are much better alternatives out there for a lot less money!

So far ridiculous experience. Products are fine but they are not capable to deliver. It takes a long time and is extremely erratic. One of my orders arrived in 2 separate stages another keeps being sent to a locker 30 min walk away (while I am at home!) because teh courier cannot be asked. Who has time for this? The reason behind online ordering is ... to receive the items to your home address... what a surprize.
Customer service is highly unprofessional.
They do not take your call and try to get rid of you by telling you to email them (message ends with - Have a wonderful day! How ridiculous!) - again who has time for it... and if they pick up the call then with a plain and simple "hello?" They have promised a resolution and then I receive a standard copy paste 2 sentences of response telling again that they have sent teh parcels to the locker as they do if you are not at home. Talking to them is a waste of time - they have no interest.
Seriously not worth the havoc.
