An email was sent to you at 13:41 on 20th June, as soon as my item arrived, outlining the issues I had with my order.

In addition to the concerns already raised, I would also like to address the personalised message that was supposed to be included with the Father’s Day hamper — or, more accurately, the lack of this.

As part of the service you offered, I was given the option to have a personal note included. Given that this was intended to be a meaningful and personal part of a Father’s Day gift, I expected it to be presented appropriately.

Unfortunately, the message arrived on a small white sticker that had simply been attached to a discount voucher. The sticker was not straight, and the message itself contained question marks, which made the presentation look particularly poor and unprofessional.

As this was a service that you specifically offered, I expected the message to be presented on a card or, at the very least, on a separate piece of paper. Attaching a small sticker to a discount voucher does not, in my view, provide the presentation or quality that I would reasonably expect when paying for a gift of this nature.

This was purchased as a Father’s Day present, and the way the personalised message was handled was extremely disappointing. It took away from what should have been a thoughtful and personal part of the gift.

I would therefore ask that you take this issue into consideration alongside the other concerns raised in my original email and my review.

Extremely disappointed

The item was supposed to be kept cold, yet it arrived via Royal Mail standard delivery—not next-day delivery and certainly not in a refrigerated or temperature-controlled vehicle. Unsurprisingly, it was not cold when it arrived.

For an item that clearly requires temperature-controlled delivery, this is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about whether the product was safe to use.

I also emailed customer service to raise my concerns, but unfortunately my message was simply ignored. The poor delivery service was bad enough, but the complete lack of response from customer service made the experience even worse.

I would not recommend this company and certainly would not use them again. If an item needs to be kept cold, the delivery method should reflect that. Customers should also receive a proper response when something goes wrong. Not only this, the date on one of the cheese was only 3 weeks.

Bought the Tangy apple chutney which is a firm favourite in our family. Love it! Product arrived well packaged.

it did last long very nice to eat ,with a bottle of port and some grapes

As a massive cheese fan I have purchased many different varieties of cheese from many producers and have often been left feeling dissapointed. This was not one of those times! I chose the mystery box as I love variety and surprises. When the box arrived I was sceptical as it seemed a little on the small size. I opened it and was amazed by the amount of cheeses in the box and the variety. There were 8 cheeses and 4 chutneys all different and each delicious in their own way. I would definitly order the mystery box again but will also be ordering some of the cheeses I tried thanks to the mystery box.

Great service order my cheese's on the 29th July delivered on the 31st July, i was a bit worried at first after some of the reviews but there was no need. Would use this company again well done and thank you.

It won't let me leave zero stars but this is what they deserve!
My delivery arrived with the gel pack split and the contents all over the cheese. This wouldn't have been an issue had the parcel not been thrown about so much that the wax was all broken off the truckles exposing the cheese inside to the gel that had leaked out of the packet To compound the issue, the parcel was left in full sun, directly under a sign saying don't leave parcels here - take them to the back door! The wax all melted and the whole lot turned into a slimy, mushy mess that I had to throw away as it was not fit for human consumption. It took 3 tries to wash the gunk off my hands.
When I contacted them and explained what had happened they said if I wasn't prepared to fish the whole sorry mess out of the bin and take photos then they were not going to do anything. Their customer service is non existent and I would not recommend shopping with this company as they don't give a hoot once the money is in their hands.

The cheeses were very good but disappointed with the size of the crisps at £1.75

Ordered a cheese pack as a gift, on 3rd, first delivery date (express delivery) 8th which I accepted. Delivery date then changed to tbc. After ringing told one item out of stock. Had to phone again a week later to chase up, item now back in stock but no delivery date set, agreed to get it out asap but not advised of new date. Another week later I had an invoice by email so can only presume delivery had been made.
Poor customer service, would not use again.

Bought a mystery box. Great value. 8 pieces of cheese although 6 had fairly short dates on-within a month. Plus some other bits. Less variety than last time but that’s the fun of it. Delivery was 8 days late so don’t rely on expected date. Will buy again

Love the cheese and pickle, slight issue a couple of cheeses were very closecto being g out of date and need to put more than one ice block in for delivery. Apart from that cheese very moreish. Ive had 2 orders and will be getting another soon.

Fabulous choice of delicious cheeses (especially the Pickled Onion cheddar truckle) and crackers. Always arrives on time, however don't be surprised if Royal Mail dump your parcel on the doorstep without notification during a heatwave, in spite of the "perishable goods" label. I'm thinking about booking a wedding cake with Chuckling Cheese, but am hesitant to due to the delivery issues. Otherwise, top notch!
