Really good communication from citb representative Allison Morris gone everything sorted without any problems

Allison has been amazing with her support and help throughout the process of hiring and training out apprentice, keeping us up to date throughout and with regular check ins! Would absolutely use citb in future for any training requirements!

Allison morris is who I mainly deal with and I find her very helpful. She always does her best to solve any issues I have or answer any questions I ask her.

CITB has been a valuable website for my business when employing an apprentice. Alison Morris helped me navigate the ins and outs of what I needed to do in relation to grants. She has been a pleasure to deal with.

CITB on a whole, is a bit of money spinner for those at the top of the trust, I personally think.

When a company runs at a loss due to a main contractor going bust on them and are owed a lot of money from the other company, CITB still want your yearly levy money from you, no matter what and no excuses!!!
Why is there nothing in place for situations like that??? Which that won't help struggling companies at all, far from it, having to pay a CITB levy when they have made no profit and ran at a loss, (but they will help take you under)!

Though the only good thing about CITB from my personal experiences are the personal advisors who come into college and are on hand to help, they can't help you enough, Alison Morris & Gareth Pugh thanks for your help throughout the years.

We have had excellent support from Allison Morris with regards to our apprentices. Allison is extremely knowledgeable, always gets back to us promptly and helps with all queries and has made the process of employing apprentices so much easier for our business

I have been dealing with CITB for a number of years now and had 3 apprentices. I have dealt with Allison Morris for all of them she is exceptional always has everything in order and helps at any point the best she can I can not praise her enough she does a marvellous job thank you.

We really couldn’t rate CITB any higher, they’ve helped us with integrating our apprentices hassle free as well as working closely with their designated colleges. Receiving the government grants couldn’t be easier and the incentives offered at more than fair compared to the levy payments we make.
We recover all of our training costs through there portals which allows our operatives to be right up to date with all of their H&S requirements at no extra cost to our business or the individuals.

Allison Morris predominantly looks after ourselves here at Nationwide Brickwork and she is a credit to CITB. She explains everything simply and take us through the whole process step by step as-well as keeping up-to date with any changes and incentives which are brought in.

I totally agree with another review which states the following :

Just disgusting what the CITB is doing to this industry.

This is NOT about improving safety.

This is purely a money making merry-go-round for them.

For a start, what other app developers charge same-cost payment for EVERY update?

These tests are ridiculous now. I'm a site manager with 25 years experience and a degree in Civil Engineering from one of the best universities in the country. I'm now looking at having to take a week off to study for this test. This is not an exercise in updating or improving my concept of health and safety. This is an exercise in MEMORISING the hundreds of word-twist, semantic-based, trick questions. JUST PATHETIC. -

I also have been in the industry with over 25 years experience in management. I have held a Black card since they came out and have never failed a touch screen test until this time, where I have failed four times in a row. I have an NVQ Level 7 which is equivalent to a Masters degree yet I cant pass a simple HSE touch screen test now !! How on earth do the government and CITB expect to get more people onto construction sites with tests like these. They are just a way of earning money...

I appreciate Amanda Carpenter for always being helpful and consistently providing timely responses to my inquiries. Her support has made a positive difference in our communication.

I am a new employee and have no experience of the construction industry or apprenticeship schemes (within it). Rachel Dewar has been very helpful and patient with my requests for help and information; she telephoned me and sent emails regarding a specific Apprentice already employed as well as answering queries about a prospective student/apprenticeship.
