We had to cancel due to covid, were promised a full refund and 18 months later we're still waiting for it. We keep chasing but we get the same response that it's been passed to their credit organisation. Over £5000 they're keeping, money which does not belong to them and for which they have purchased nothing on my behalf.

We booked a Budapest, Prague, Vienna before the Pandemic hit. The trip was cancelled and it's been over than TWO YEARS and to date we have not received our Refund. This company is a Scam.

We booked with Citrus for a tour of Peru/Chile/Argentina/Brazil. Having flights and accommodation booked but relying on being met by reps/transfers at each airport and hotel was a wee bit scary for a couple of oldies, but everything worked out perfectly, with no problems at all. So we went back to Citrus for our next tour on a similar basis, but this time to Thailand/Cambodia/VietNam/Singapore. And once again, not a single hiccup, apart from a 2 year delat due to COVID! Everything was arranged perfectly and once again we had an excellent holiday. Thank you Citrus

If we could give this organization -10 stars, we would. We booked travel (3 travellers) and paid over $10K CAD in Sept 2019. Pandemic hit, we were patient and tried to rebook but cancelled many times due to travel restrictions. Feb 3, 2021 after many many months of requesting refund, they agreed to a full refund. They then stalled in many ways, advising they were "chasing accounts" (who the hell is accounts??!!) for our money. They said that they had requested a refund from Air Canada on May 24, 2021, we have confirmation Air Canada refunded them April 6, 2020. They then asked for SWIFT banking information to deposit payment (refusing to refund our original payment type which was Visa). Fast forward to Feb 28, 2022 (after we got a lawyer involved) the lawyer Anita Hoxha with Citrus Holidays Legal, advised a refund would be issued. Here we are Oct 28, 2022, 3 years from booking the travel and 20 months after being promised a refund, with nothing. There are no phone numbers, no one calls you back, don't reply to emails. They are liars, have essentially stollen our funds (confirmation that Air Canada refunded them for our tickets, which they have not refunded us). We never travelled to Ecuador... and we would strong advise no one give this company or their parent company, Benz Travel, a single dime of money. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THIS ORGANIZATION.

We purchased a trip package from Citrus holidays: Budapest Vienna & Prague, scheduled to start 22 March 2020. due to pandemic, this trip was cancelled. They told us to refund us the expense about two and half years ago, we have not received the refund, it is about two years. They don't even reply to our emails anymore, just ignore us

from the outset it is hard to understand how the booking works. foreign call centre who treats the call like a everyday call not a professional holiday call centre, poor information sent over in emails, flight booking has a reference number which does not work - trying to contact person made booking with and all that I get is see attached information.

Despite cheapish holiday the hassle before you get to go on the holiday is not worth it.

Poor experience - hopefully you can use this feedback to improve the service as on the face of it you have some inspirational holiday offers

Quick, flights sorted in minutes, confirmation, tickets receipt a very short time after.

Citrus again provided excellent customer service- they respond promptly and, yes, you can speak to a real person if needed
They always answer queries regarding itinerary as fully as possible and try to accommodate requests.

Stay away from this company! They have yet to compensate for travel scheduled for end of March 2020 cancelled due to Covid. Despite continued promises to refund cancelled trip to Italy for myself and my daughter this refund has never materialized. Very disappointed .

I booked our holiday to Italy without any problems. Our agent Mel was very helpful and answered all queries promptly.

My query started with a trip seen on Travelzoo, which turned out to be not exactly what I wanted, which led to expressing what I was looking for, and considering various trips available, then finally deciding on one, covering 2 cities, 3 days to Madrid and 3 days to Seville Then we got to modifying the trip, varying the dates of departure, transfer and return. Then the hotel, more city-centre or further out. I would like to say that I was decisive and informed about my choices, but truth to tell, they were only after the very knowledgeable and able assistance of Mel. After all these, and before confirmation, I called again to make one or two changes. Again, no problem. That's my first experience with booking a trip instead of, as always previously, planning and making all the individual bookings myself. And suddenly, all the problems with information gathering, checking availability, making the timings over the past one week, was all sorted out in less than 2 hours. And the overall cost? A shade over what it would be with my own myriad arrangements, but to get a result so optimal and so quickly, how to begrudge the little extra cost? And, a couple of free upgrades thrown in as well. The problem with planning for 2, with the other party resident elsewhere, and not to hand to help make the decisions, would have meant frequent calls to confirm one aspect or another, but here the final arrangement was agreed with a call, and then back to Mel for a modification, and then everything was ready to confirm and make payment. So we go next week, all deliberations done. Then also another little change, and further done.
So, what to say about the service? Nothing more need be, just extremely pleased. No one nicer to deal with.
Would I use the service again? Yes, and yes. But here's a hint (unless I am only just discovering it): find a trip, and if it's not-to-plan exactly, call and work out the modification(s). Then it'll be right to plan.

I cannot express how helpful and patient Rose was in arranging our holiday, I am sure she must have been very frustrated at the number of times we altered destinations. A very good experience.

Having had a trip cancelled because of Covid, I was somewhat doubtful that I would ever see my money back or a voucher…. It didn’t help when the staff changed and it was very difficult to get hold of someone who knew my details…. All that being said I recently was speaking to Solwyn and he came through in trumps and I now have my voucher! Thank You..
