Excellent and outstanding service - tenant organized within a week of completion.

Fran from Citywise was fantastic really attentive and helpful, made what should be a fairly stressful situation very easy and simple. City wise as a whole we're brilliant and I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

CityRise managed to help me recover all my money, as painful as it was going through the experience, I’m raising this from 1 to 3 stars because I do believe CityRise care about their clients.

I am writing this to share a deeply concerning experience regarding a property purchase made earlier this year through CityRise, in the hope of saving other buyers and agents from similar financial and emotional hardship.

I reserved an almost ready off-plan property in Liverpool early this year with a £12,500 reservation fee, which marked the start of a prolonged and stressful process.

Developer: Russell Harry Ronald SCHWARZE (Operating via East Prescot Road Homes / Peloney Limited / Merebridge, Company No. 11675945, and 11834491, among other company names).

Throughout the conveyancing process, the developer repeatedly introduced unnecessary delays over trivial matters. After more than six months of delays, when all legal and mortgage formalities were finally complete and my solicitor requested a completion date, the developer abruptly pulled out of the transaction. Worse still, despite agreeing to reimburse my costs, he has failed to return some of the funds owed. It has been an exhausting ordeal attempting to recover money that is legally and rightfully mine.

I do want to acknowledge Rueben at CityRise, who has been very supportive and active in trying to help me recover my outstanding funds. However, it doesn’t take away the fact that CityRise sold this property to me and I wouldn’t be going through this ordeal today if they had properly vetted the developer. I strongly urge CityRise to conduct far more rigorous due diligence on the developers they represent to prevent clients from being placed in these situations.

Unscrupulous practices in property development continue only when they go unexposed. Exercise extreme caution before entering into any agreements involving Russell SCHWARZE, Jane SCHWARZE or their associated entities.

I know for certain karma will get these people bad after what they have put me through but I'm putting this message out there for all potential buyers/agents to please watch out for these criminals as nobody deserves to go through this.

Please share this warning broadly.

Sophie Brookes is a very knowledgeable property investment advisor and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who want to start or expand his/her portfolio. She is a genuine partner in the journey, putting the extra mile to find and present tailored proposals according to your needs and not only just showing the pipeline of available properties.

This was my first investment with CityRise, and it has been an excellent experience from initial contact through to completion.
