Jon and his highly-skilled team have always given me the absolute best service, quality of workmanship and advice, and keep my classic MGB Roadster in tip-top shape. They go way above and beyond anything I've experienced from a garage, and in a world of mostly poor customer service, dealing with Jon is a breath of fresh air. His honesty and guidance are truly special. If you run a classic motor and in need of a 1st Class support team, then you really need Classic & Retro Autos, they're the best! And I will undoubtedly continue to use them for as long as I have my classic.

Top Notch Team, Jon helped me every step of the way making sure I knew what work would be taking place and always honest about the costs. Trying to work around tight budgeting, spacing work out for what best fit myself. He was always happy to pick up my call and sort out what I needed even giving advice on another purchase elsewhere.

I have used this company several times over the past 2 years for work on my old Merc. Jon is a great guy, will do anything to help and I know I can leave my car there in very good hands. He works with meticulous care and attention and at a reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Two years ago we had to make the difficult decision as to whether to scrap our Rover 75 Tourer, which we had owned from new, or restore it.
We were new to the area so did not know for sure where to take her, but having found Classic and Retro Autos online we paid them a visit and was immediately reassured that they were the right people to do the restoration.

Two years later and thanks to Jon, Rosina, Michael and all the team we have recently taken delivery back home of the car in a now 'as new' condition.

Everything necessary has been done both bodywork wise and mechanical. Nothing was too much trouble with attention to detail being the priority.

Jon and the team have been fantastic and very patient with the restoration of our bmw for the last four years.
With any vehicle restoration there were more issues than first thought but nothing was too big or small for the team.

If you need quality work on your classic car in the North East, you won't do better that taking it to Jon and his team at Classic & Retro. Don't be put off by the lack of glitz on the website and signage - I was, and it ended up costing me thousands of wasted pounds at a so-called specialists near Stanley. Where do you go with a rare-ish italian twin cam from the 60s? Eventually I talked to Jon and he took the time to give the car a thorough assement, then the team set about patiently and methodically unpicking all the bodges and mistakes made by the last place I took it to. Jon's communication is second to none, updating me regualrly with issues when they arose but more importantly giving confidence the team could fix them. The little red Fiat is finally back on the road and driving like it should. A real workshop with people who know how older cars work and can diagnose problems without plugging in to a computer, and carry out repairs with a high level of attention to detail. Thanks again Jon, and we'll be back soon for the cosmetic work.

Jon and the team have looked after my classic Vignale for years. Always the highest standard of work with great communication so I am kept in the loop throughout. A great company with lovely people I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I discovered Classic and Retro Autos a few years ago when my son bought an MGB GT from them . My old classic Range Rover need a lot of work doing and Jon and his team have done a first rate job of turning my truck full of tin worm into a very useable classic Range Rover . So if you have a classic that needs work take it to Classic and Retro Autos you will not regret it . A first rate company dedicated to keeping classic cars on the road . Definitely Recommended.
